Great space for large groups/families Positive: Clean and bright rooms, great location

Great location and great amenities. Everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. There were 9 adults and had a comfortable stay. In walking distance of a fab fish and chip shop and 4 good pubs on our door step. The house had everything we needed and would definitely recommend a stay here

Positive: Location was fab and Lemonade Arch was a lovely house with lots of facilities. Negative: Not enough beds for family of 9 adults and 4 children!

Enjoyed our stay in Whitby with all our family . Positive: It was big enough to accommodate all 10 of with ease , well positioned for walking into Whitby.

We enjoyed our stay and the property is good for large parties Positive: We liked the kitchen dining area. There was plenty of pots, pans and cutlery. The beds were comfortable. Negative: Little things really. The room I was in whilst there was a mirror in the bathroom there wasn’t a mirror in the bedroom making it difficult to blow dry my hair. The shower had no tray to hold soap , shampoo etc.

Lovely place that could easily be made even better Positive: The location and having two parking spaces. The open plan lounge kitchen diner worked well with a small sitting room on the ground floor if you needed a quiet space. Negative: The Venetian blinds in the bedrooms let in too much light for a comfortable good night's sleep. At least one twin room with single beds would have worked better for our party rather than all five bedrooms having a double or king sized bed with just one single bed in one of the rooms.

Very nice house, plenty of bathrooms so good for big groups and good size/amount of living spaces.

Great weekend away at Lemonade Arch! The house was perfect for us girls, more than enough space for 9 girls to all get ready comfortably. The open plan kitchen/ living room was perfect for us all to spend time together. Dale was great at responding and super helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Very comfortable apartment in good location. Positive: Property is in great location. Plenty of bathrooms for 8 adults and 4 young children. Negative: Don’t think main oven was working properly. Could have been doing with a few more glasses and tea towels. No where to hang clothes in some bedrooms. Car parking a bit of an issue. Two allocated spaces were fine, but 2 of our cars parked on street and one was damaged over night.

Stayed as a large group for a work event, the house was in a great location for Whitby! House was clean, tidy and very comfortable for our group of 10, well appointed kitchen! Easy check in and out! Would recommend this place for any decent sized group!

Positive: Comfortably fit 10 adults, a teen and dogs. Lovely furnishings. Kitchen well equipped and good location for Whitby centre. 2 parking spaces was a bonus. Negative: It didn't spoil our stay but if you don't like road noise take a bedroom at the back.

This property is described as “luxury” and “spotless”. This is our experience: We (a family of 10 people) arrived on Christmas Eve to find there were 5 forks in the kitchen. Issue not resolved in time for Christmas Day. Lack of appropriate glassware and number of plates were chipped. Dustballs on staircase and dirt on window sills. Walls were scuffed. Rubbish from previous occupants left in one of the rooms. Showers filthy and mouldy.

Pleasure and nice holiday home for big group. Positive: The Location is quiet but just 5-10 minutes walk to the center of the town. Kitchen, Dining and sitting areas are well-equipped and spacious enough to cater 10 adults. Beds are comfortable. Rarely to have 5 baths and 5 bedrooms at the same. That’s a credit to this holiday home. Negative: No hooks to hang towels and/or clothes in bathrooms and bedrooms. A little bit inconvenient 😅

The house and location were great but the cleaning issues really let it down Positive: The property was a fabulous size and in a perfect location, beds were comfortable.the bedding was very clean and the towels were reasonable,the kitchen was well equipped and the sitting area was comfortable. Negative: The house wasn’t particularly clean, there was a lot of dust and dirt,the carpets looked like they needed a proper vacumn especially around the skirting boards. When entering the building it didn’t smell at all pleasant, the downstairs toilet/shower smelt of sewerage and didn’t get much better when going further into the house,it was so unpleasant that I had to go and buy some air fresher so it smelt better for when the rest of the family arrived,a few air fresheners wouldn’t have gone a miss. The kitchen was good apart from the cracked hob, the rusting kettle with water still in it, a sticky counter top and floor and dirty blinds,which carried on throughout the house regarding the floors and blinds. The amount of money they charge for cleaning I would expect it to be so much cleaner than it was.

Excellent spacious property, well equipped, family friendly at a reasonable price. We'll be back! Positive: Our family group, 10 in total, were very happy with the premises. Rooms are spacious, clean and user friendly, there were plenty of baths and toilets, the kitchen was well equipped and the location suited us well in that it wasn't too far from any of the attractions but it was on the opposite side of the river to the daytime crowds - essential when you have children to get to bed! Noise from traffic wasn't a problem even in rooms facing the road. The layout suited us well - there was plenty of space for us all without being on top of each other and the main room was great for family meals in that we could all sit comfortably around the dining table at mealtimes. Negative: Opening and closing the key box was a bit tricky on occasion because the cover kept flipping down and the mechanism for unlocking was a bit stiff. The single bed in one of the family rooms had a damaged support underneath the mattress (discovered when we were trying to find a toy). My grandson is a slightly built five year old and was never in the room alone so we assume it was damaged before we arrived. An extra car parking space would have been useful for our party of 10, no way were 2 spaces enough!

We stayed at Lemonade Arch Thursday to Sunday and the property had everything we needed for our large family of four adult children and us. The layout of the house was perfect, allowing us to be together and enjoy cooking and chatting all in one place. The kids loved their rooms and although there isn’t en-suite bathrooms besides one, there was 5 bathrooms altogether so more than enough for everyone to get ready together without having to wait. A really great find for a large family or couples wishing to spend time together, all within a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of Whitby. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking again.

easter'25 weekend away with the family at lemonade arch! 10 of us stayed at the fabulous accommodation and a fantastic location, walking distance to the centre with lots of bars, restaurants and shops. everything we needed to cater the weekend was available to us, lots of space, and very comfortable. very easy to access the property, and a bonus that you get 2 parking spaces for you stay there. highly recommend this property.

Family of eleven had an amazing stay , plenty of space , crockery, cutlery etc . All the bedrooms bright and comfortable . Will stay again

Lemonade Arch is a lovely property, the social area on the first floor was perfect for the family. Bedrooms were clean and the beds are comfy but there is a lack of storage for your clothes. The kitchen requires a restock of some essentials; all the kitchen knives were extremely blunt, couldn't even chop soft veg with them, so we bought a new kitchen knife to use during our stay and a lack of pans to cook for the number staying. There were only 3 mismatched wine glasses - not great if you were a party of friends staying and some of the crockery is chipped. Property is advertised by Host and Stay as suitable for under 2yrs but guests should note there is no provision for this age group; no travel cots available or high chairs and clearly there are open staircases across the three floors.

Spacious, clean and modern house in great location. Good communication from host and felt like a very easy stay. Just what we needed for a group of families, boot room/utility was very handy for the pile of beach stuff and sandy shoes

Great place Positive: The location is really great. Walking distance to everything. We really liked the large utility area downstairs as we had a pram and it was easy to get in there, no steps, and to leave it down there out of the way. Also great for storing coats, shoes and beach stuff that the 2 grandkids had. There was also a shower room off the utility, plus washing machine and drier down there, which were very handy. There was plenty of space for all of us, 6 adults, 2 children and a baby. It’s a great place for a family get together. Negative: Nothing not to like.

Positive: Really good location, good rooms and having the 5 bathrooms was great. Was a nice social space for our family and so easy to get into centre of Whitby but there are good restaurants, and coffee place all 5 min walk. Negative: The kitchen wasn't well stocked and it seemed like the place wasn't properly restocked. There was a coffee machine but only 1 pod, there was washing up liquid but only enough left for 1 wash. There were no oven gloves, only 1 teatowel and limited pans.

Lovely accommodation, very presentable and tidy. All the beds were very comfortable. We had a great stay at Lemonade Arch's and would recommend it for larger groups.

Mini break with friends Positive: The couches in both lounges were comfortable. The kitchen area was a good space but disappointing that the dining table only had 8 chairs when we were a group of 10. The utility was a good area to leave boots and coats. Negative: Coffee machine did not work. Washing up liquid bottle was left but nothing in it. The heating was not on when we arrived so the whole house was freezing. The cleanliness was not the best and the walls and paintwork definitely need looking at. The stairs up to the first floor are exceptionally loud and creaky- definitely need looking at.

Lovely house perfect for a group! Positive: Lovely property, a 10 minute walk to the centre of Whitby, the kitchen was well stocked with cutlery/glasses etc, great open plan living area for socialising. Negative: The group felt the property wasn’t overly clean - there was crumbs on the bar stools, old food was found behind a bedside table, lots of mould in the en suite & the carpets need a good hoover & clean.

Great weekend away with good friends in wonderful Whitby. Positive: Location is excellent for walking access to the old town, pubs restaurants & shops. The decor & furnishings are lovely & modern. It was roomy & comfortable for our party of 8 friends, some room sharing. The beds were really comfortable . The kitchen is well stocked to self cater if required. The house was mostly nice and clean. We had a wonderful weekend break & will book a return visit in the future. Negative: The standard of house keeping needs a bit of an improvement. Some of the towels were worn out, ripped & holed. Stains were seen on some of the bedding. It was noticed that the carpets could have been vacuumed better, stray hairs & bits were found in some of the bedrooms. The shower in the en-suite room needs a good old bleach on the door runner as a seasons load of black mould is there. The ‘master suite’ is strange with an open bathroom & toilet in the room. It really needs a wall & door for the toilet. There wasn’t a mirror in this room either. A bit more storage in the beds rooms would be better, along with hooks on the doors for dressing gowns etc. more wine glasses. Think there was only 2, the rest being bubbly glasses.

Had a great time staying at Lemonade Arch. The size of the property and the number of bedrooms was perfect for ourselves and friends who stayed for a long weekend. Highly recommended.

Stayed at Lemonade Arch in Whitby with 8 mates that I’ve know for over 40 years. The accommodation was excellent lots of space and bathrooms! Theres about 6 bedrooms all very nice and lovely living areas. Host & Stay/air bnb were brilliant with e mailing information about the accommodation. All in all a great weekend! Thank you

Positive: Excellent location near to the town centre and attractions. Clean modern property with loads of room. Would definitely recommend lemonade arch. Negative: Some of the party felt their beds were too hard, which made them sore in the morning.

This was a wonderfully located stay for our group of six. It's important to download the guide they send you before you arrive so that you know where to park and can see the location easily.

Perfect pad for a group. We had 6 adults, 4 children and 2 dogs. Enough space for all and bedrooms/bathrooms very good. Host excellent, lots of communications and assistance. Only gripes: 1) There was only 1 parking space, so had to mess around finding other parking. 2) No hand wash in any bathroom or toilet, which was odd and should be a given. 3) No dishwasher tablets. Only expected 1 or 2 to get us going. Meant the first night, we had full dishwasher and pots everywhere (being a large group) as couldn’t put dishwasher on 4) Not a gripe but just for info, no outside space, so dogs couldn’t just go out to use the toilet. All in all though a great place and location. Would return but would love some hand wash and dishwasher tablets please! Plus the 2 car parking spaces promised.

Accommodation was clean and the photos are a good representation of what you get. Good location about 5-10 mins walk into central Whitby. The kitchen equipment could do with some improvement, but generally, a decent place to stay for a group getaway.

Positive: This house is beautiful and kept very clean, beautiful bedrooms and the downstairs utility is perfect for those rainy days/wellies or people with dogs. The lounge area is gorgeous, the location is fab with a short walk into town. There is ample of everything like bowls and glasses etc for your stay too. Negative: Only two things I can think of, sofas need a clean, you wouldn't know but I had to wipe after my son spilt water ...but biggest thing is parking. Told by Host & Stay to park in space 3 but that doesn't belong to Lemonade Arch. The parking bays are in front of one another and the writing on the floor has warn out and needs repainting. A3 is should say, very small and compact spaces so big cars or vans will struggle unfortunately.

Place was excellent. Brill location so close to the town. kitchen was great and well stocked for the 7 of us staying. Boot room is super helpful when coming in from beach with Dogs.

We had an amazing time at lemonade arch. We were a group of 9 adults plus one baby and two dogs and it had so much space for us all to enjoy. Excellent value for money and the property was beautiful. In a great location too. We will definitely return!

Great for couples. Positive: Standard of furnishings was outstanding, clean and comfortable. Negative: No guest guide book on how to work things or wi fi password.

Great location which is close to the site of Whitby and access to the Cleveland Way. Good parking and the accommodation (we had 2 cars). The instructions as regards access to the apartment are very accurate but need to be carefully read i.e. easy to confuse with no 3 Lemonade Cottage. Host and Stay provided a useful app for the location and the accommodation was as described. Comfortable beds and good general facilities for our needs (we ate out for lunch and dinner). All-in-all a great base to explore Whitby and surrounding places.

Served our purpose as was a work trip, property could do with some tlc but overall was good.

Great family stay Positive: Great location with 2 parking spaces. Very spacious inside and great to have 5 bathrooms. Kitchen well equipped and plenty of seats and space for a large gathering. Negative: Could do with some air fresheners, dishcloth, scourer and a mirror in each bedroom. Not happy to find someone's medication and a child's football shirt in the drawers of one room. The basement lounge would be ideal as a games room.

What a beautiful house. It looked amazing from the pictures and we were excited but the house itself was beyond expectations. Loads of space, two lounge areas with plenty of sofa space for everyone. Fantastic holiday & enjoyed staying here. It's highly recommended. Positive: Very good location with easy reach to most viewable places and beaches in 10-15 minutes on foot. Negative: Air conditioning throughout the three floors would be perfect cos it's quite hot to sleep on the top floor!

A beautiful property with a 5 minutes walk away from Whitby centre! The flat is modern with sociable areas, big bedrooms and lovely bathrooms. Charlie was very quick to respond to questions - we’d definitely come back here again.

AVOID HOST & STAY! the house is just great! Host & Stay, however, can't seem to get organised. They offered a variety of early check-in options via message £130 exta for 11am versus the usual 4pm, to then offer me the same 11am for £30 via the phone, then deny all knowledge to them ring and offer it again! I had to chase for check in details as I didn't get it 6 hours before (like they stated). we also reported a foul smell from the en-suite bathroom, although this was acknowledged by Host & Stay, nothing was done and we had to buy products ourselves as none were provided in the property . They also left the bare minimum in the property for your holiday, we also had to go out to buy toilet paper, pot towels (none provided) , washing up liquid, toilet cleaner for the foul smelling bathroom. They couldn't get our check in time correct, then we got 3 separate messages "reminding" us of our 10am check out time! 2026 prices are increased by over 25%, they offered us 10% discount!

Great location, accommodation over three floors, so several stairs, well appointed but lacked some basic essentials .. you need to take all toiletries and washing up brushes pan scrubs etc.. that’s only a minor criticism as otherwise a great place to stay. .. whitby has a lot of very noisy seagulls all of which seemed to sleep on the roof ! 😂

The property was comfortable but main issue was parking which is not clearly marked at the property and our spaces were taken by someone else which made it very difficult upon arrival in the rain and in the dark. 4pm is also a late check in time compared to a number of other properties we have stayed in.

We had a great stay and im sure we will be back again some time Positive: Stayed in it about 4 years ago in March & it was immaculate, in fact i think we were the first people to stay in it.The weather wasn’t so nice then so didn’t need windows open. Negative: Could do with ceiling fans in the bedrooms because with the windows open the traffic noise is very loud on one side and the seagulls nesting on the other make a right row. Needs more hanging space in some of the bedrooms and basically think the place is due a freshen up (lick of paint & new carpets etc )the stairs are very creaky so much so that if someone gets up early it wakes others when they go downstairs Other than that it possibly wants a proper deep clean skirting boards etc. between cushions on sofas etc

We would not hesitate to return. Some reviews said there was only one parking space, but there were definitely two, one in front of the other, left of the property adjacent the fence.
