Great location for exploring the nearby seaside towns. The house was comfortable and worked well for 6 people, with plenty of parking. It’s only a short walk to the local pub (though we found it a bit pricey and the food average), and around a 15-minute drive into Filey. Communication with the hosts was clear throughout. The only downside was the strict 10am checkout with teenagers in tow, an extra hour would have made things much easier. The hot tub was a lovely addition. They provided a few starter logs, though some kindling would have been useful as it was tricky to get going and needed a bit of cleaning before use. Overall, we really enjoyed a lovely Bank Holiday weekend break.

The property was delightful. Very clean and comfy felt very at home. Lots of space.Local pub very friendly great service and food. (There is a short cut through the field) Host was responsive but felt like AI response. Only one wheelie bin (the recycle bin so unfortunately has to put all waste in that bin) No wood available for fire Washing machine did not work reported these issues. Overall this did not spoil anything, lovely location, Bempton cliffs and flamborough lighthouse worth a visit.
Communication with the host was easy & plenty of info provided It’s a beautiful house that was tastefully decorated throughout & very clean, perfect for our stay The kitchen was large & ideal for our family get together. The bedrooms were good size & there is a large garden tooWithin a short walk was the White Horse pub that served lovely lunch & short drive plenty of places to visit
Worst stay away ever would not recommend this property to anyone Negative: No hot water no central heating host and stay did not send a engineer out to fix the problem on the coldest weekend of the year
Negative: We had to clean house on arrival. Things not finished. Blinds not fitted. Fridge did not work. Bird poo all over the patio which we had to clean. Microwave out of service. Poor response from hosts.
