Amazing sea views Positive: Amazing sea views

We love Saltburn and this place was perfect for us and our 3 boys. Less than a 5 min walk to the beach. Close to the shops and places to eat. The house was spotless and the little things were there for you. Tea and coffee available with milk in the fridge was the perfect little touch. Thank you for a lovely stay. We'll be back.

Lovely seaside views, easy access to beach and town. Not suitable for people with mobility issues as property is on 5th floor stairs only.

Great location and spacious layout, with beautiful views from two of the rooms — but several issues let it down. The listing didn't mention 70 steps to reach the apartment, which was a real struggle for my elderly mother. I wouldn't have booked if we'd known access was difficult. The apartment had recently been painted, but that meant we had paint fumes for the entire week-long stay. The listing advertised a dedicated workspace, but there wasn't one. Host confirmed this when I raised it, so I ended up working from the bedroom for the week. The hob in the kitchen didn't work, which affected most of our meals since we'd already bought food to cook. I found it suspicious that management felt there was a portable hob available somewhere in the apartment — it's not the kind of thing people keep lying around unless they know the main hob isn't working. One more note: the sitting room windows could do with a clean, given the view is one of the apartment's best features.

Great location for a visit to the beach! Positive: The location was excellent!! Very close to the beach, shops and a great bakery!!! Negative: The bed is too hard for my back, recently renovated smell still a bit strong.

Positive: lovely newly renovated and spacious flat with superb sea view. Very well equipped although we didn't use the appliances this time. We were lucky enough to visit during a spell of hot weather and found the flat nice and cool and airy. A steep walk down to the beach but there are car parks on the sea front. Sainsburys is just a five minute walk around the corner and lots of lovely independent shops. Nicely situated for visiting the local area. Negative: Limited on street parking which due to its location was very difficult at times. it would not put us off staying again but it does need a little forward planning regarding parking regulations. Also we weren't aware on booking just how many flights of stairs we needed to climb to access the flat ( approx 60 steps in total ) Not a problem for ourselves but something to take into consideration.
