Just about acceptable on price with short notice. Positive: Location is very good at the more historical end of Kings Mile. Parking on-site is a plus, but does get affected by local traders inconsiderate parking causing some difficulty when leaving the property being at the end of the street. Negative: The mattress is far too soft and the bed being low doesn't help. Morning noise from the rubbish collections probably servicing the shops round the corner. Again being at the front end of the street makes it worse. Being a Company let it really has no small comforts and the kitchen functions, but leaves no desire to cook. Needs some TLC - and a coffee machine with coffee - poor quality instant and it ran out.

Simply. Don't go there. Everything others rewarded is true, unfortunately: 1. Dirty, sticky kitchen 2. Loud and steady noise from neighbour restaurant ventilation so that windows are not to open by day and night 3. strong light from the neighbour shining into the rooms to keep dealers away 4. missing stripes on sun/privacy screens let people look into living room 5. loud quarreling neighbors 6. suspicious surroundings beside garbage boxes of restaurants. 7. Moody smell in bad and kitchen (fridge, old fat at shelfs). 8. After booking and reading former reviews I immediately contacted the renter to ask for cleaning and providing save entrance for me and my young daughter, they argued they do everything to make it clean and save. Findings: We did not feel save at all at that place, and the pan was unusable or broke or extremely dirty. 9. After first complaints of situation I asked to change linen, towels, etc cause a long stay of 3 weeks. Answer: yes we can, but will charge. Sorry. No way

Very very disappointing. Totally unacceptable. Property needs a very deep plan. Location is wonderful however. Positive: Location. Good central heating Negative: Very dirty kitchen: the counter top, inside the cupboards, cooking pans, chewing gum stick to radiator Fridge did not work (not cold) Ground floor bathroom: the shower screen shattered glass all over my daughter while she was showing and cut her hand and heel. Boiler cut in and out so when showing in the upstairs bathroom the water was hot then cold Staff at ‘Host and Stay’ did not take action when we messaged the property with these problems and complaints, despite messaging and also speaking on the phone. No action from them.

Evin içi dışı her yer örümcek ağı, ölüsü dirisi ve lavraları dolu. Çocuğumun ayakkabısından kocaman örümcek çıktı. Ev sahibine söyledim ve beni çıkış günüme kadar temizlik için oyaladı. Ev asla temizlenmedi zaten kısa sürede temizlenmesi de mümkün değildi. Kapıdan içeri girerken örümcek ağlarının içinden geçiyorsunuz. Camlarda kocaman örümcekler yürüyor. Örümceklerin öldürdüğü koca sinekler sizi selamlıyor. Yani asla gidilecek kalınacak bir yer değilmiş. Her an nerden ne çıkacağı belli olmayan hayvanat bahçesi gibi bir evdi. Çok pişmanın ve bir daha asla orada kalmam kimseye de tavsiye etmem. Her yerede gerekli şikayetleri yaptım yapmaya da devam edeceğim.

We enjoyed this quaint three-level apartment, especially for its excellent location. The beds stood out—the top-floor double and bottom-floor single both had comfortable, quality mattresses with hotel-quality unscented sheets. Full bathrooms are on the top and bottom floors, Wi-Fi worked well. A few cons: the kitchen could use updating and some newer pots and pans, and a spring cleaning should be scheduled. Bathroom sinks have separate hot and cold taps that run very hot or cold a little difficult to use. The main issue was a very bright neighboring floodlight that lights up all three floors of the apartment from about 10 pm onward. The top bedroom can be darkened by closing the door and window, but it makes the room stuffy and virtually uninhabitable without air conditioning, especially in warm weather. Aside from the light and ventilation challenge, this was a solid stay thanks to the location and comfortable beds.

Positive: Good location Negative: Bathrooms and kitchen are very outdated. Skirting boards, top of bedside table, behind the loo were not cleaned. The fan in the room was absolutely filthy and I had to clean it out with an earbud. Beds were uncomfortable and you could feel the springs in the sofa. Some of the curtains are broken in places, so I had to use tape and put stuff against them, especially on the bottom floor where people can look in. Very disappointing, the photos are misleading.

Slechte staat van onderhoud Positive: Locatie: goede ligging Negative: Keuken: deze was niet goed schoon, wasemkap was vet, aanrecht niet goed onderhouden. Deze voelde vettig aan. De keuken was slecht uitgerust en niet geschikt om zelf te koken. Foto doet beter vermoeden. De buitenzijde was slecht onderhouden een raam werd zelfs met ducttape aan elkaar gehouden. Afval was niet opgeruimd in de 'carport' Er ontbrak een stoel in de kamer. Matrassen waren in slechte staatssecretaris

Poor location, AI pics on Vrbo and the reality was awful the lads stayed 1 night and checked out. Awful comms. Everything by text and mail. Please avoid at all costs.

Great location, a stones throw from the city centre. 1 min walk to the Dolphin pub, whixh was great on both sunny days we were there. Easy to find location. Parking space is on the small side, not a complaint just an observation and for those qho mught have larger vehicles. 4 stars because the decor and kitchen is tired and generally could donwith a spruce up. However we were 3 mates just in Canterbury for a weekend of relaxing and being out in the city having a few beers so not bothered at all. The location is the best part about this property.

An unclean and uncared for property, although promised that the broken bed and wc would be fixed and at least the kitchen to be cleaned they did not.

Positive: Sehr gute Lage, Parkplatz vorhanden, nettes authentisches Häuschen. Gute Zimmeraufteilung für 3 Personen. Negative: Toilette und Dusche im EG nicht funktionsfähig. Keine Antwort auf meine Mail diesbezüglich. Die Küchenschränke klebten überall und das Geschirr auch nur eingeschränkt nutzbar.

Super location to visit Canterbury Positive: The location was fantastic, walking distance to everything, very central but still quiet in the evenings. Everything was clean and pleasantly decorated. Negative: The mattresses could be better, especially the one on the single bed.

Keysafe was functional and place was easy to find and enter. Directions were good and recommendations appreciated, with good early communications from hosts Rooms and beds were clean, along with kitchen surfaces and kitchen appliances Good location, easily walkable, close to the cathedral and grocery shops Internet connection was easy to access and clear instructions left However, some issues were identified. All cutlery and crockery was dirty in the kitchen and required cleaning before use The downstairs toilet had to have the cistern filled manually before it would flush There were no sheets or towel provided for the sofabed user, there were only 3 towels and place to sleep for 3 people on a 4 person listing. Extra was only provided next day Light in extractor fan was broken There were only 3 chairs in the living room table, one person had to use a stool with no back that sat lower The upstairs window does not close as the handle is broken off and on the desk in the upstairs bedroom

Great location, lousy lodgings. Positive: Great location in the center of Canterbury. Easy to walk to places of interest. Negative: Shower and toilet didn't work in downstairs bathroom. Bed slats were too thin and slipped off the frame when we got into bed. Mattress would collapse. Downstairs bed uncomfortable. We would like a partial refund for the inconvenience. Cannot recommend this property . We were not told where the lock box was. I expected it to be next to the door. It was in the garage.

House not worth the money we paid, especially the cleaning fee Positive: It was close to the cathedral. Negative: There was no regular TV or fan, the sofa was extremely uncomfortable, the alleyway location was terrible because it was used by drug addicts as a hangout and all the local staff smoked outside the window making it smell of smoke all day. Lots of noise from surrounding businesses at all hours. Woken up by extremely loud glass bin collection at 5am two nights.
