Annual trip for myself & 3 sisters. Flat lovely, very comfy. Location very good for town buses & supermarkets. Slightly disappointed there wasn’t anything in the flat to help with how to work the television. No WiFi code. Where the bins were ect. Usually an information folder or the like would be available? Also, I know it’s a petty thing, but basics like toilet paper of which we had to buy & washing up liquid weren’t abundant. Overall a lovely few days.

It's a lovely appartment, very convenient and spacious enough for four people plus a toddler.

We loved our time at Kings Cloisters. We would definitely return. It was luxurious…somewhere to relax after sightseeing. Facilities were excellent…and all in great order. It just felt right from the moment we arrived. Beautiful and tasteful decor… a joy indeed.

Great stay - fantastic apartment and very charming and location is great. Loved everything about it! One suggestion is to provide clear guidance for early check in and checkout - we were happy to pay but were only offered this option after multiple inquiries.

We’re just home from 3 nights down in York, I was away with my husband and toddler. The apartment is absolutely stunning!! It was immaculate, furnished beautifully and in the loveliest area just a short walk from the city centre. We felt so safe and at home here and will 100% be returning to this apartment in the future and recommending to friends & family when they’re visiting York.

Beautiful apartment would definitely stay again

Thank you for a lovely few days at Kings Cloisters, our first time to York and it was lovely. The property is located in a lovely area about 10-15 minutes walk into the main city, easy to drive to and find. The apartment itself is just like the pictures, finished to a high standard, very classily decorated and feels very welcoming. Beds were very comfy, lounge lovely to relax in and balcony was a nice touch. A few small downsides, namely check in- I messaged the night before to confirm I would receive instructions the next day and was told to keep an eye on my email, by check in time no details had arrived and I had to phone to then be told I needed to complete a check in form before being sent the instructions. Not too difficult, but could have been clearer instructions, rather than stand outside the property for 30 minutes calling and filling in e-forms. Overall a lovely stay in a lovely part of the world

We really loved our stay here, almost new apartment, great balcony and facilities. We could walk into York City centre in 15 mins. Would stay again

The flat is beautifully and elegantly decorated—perhaps the nicest AirBnB we have stayed in. The balcony is a nice touch and we appreciated the Nespresso machine in the eat-in kitchen. The location was also good, on a quiet street but within walking distance of the city center. Our only quibble was that the management could be improved, as we had some issues around the check-in details, the WiFi password, etc that didn’t match the excellence of the physical space.

This was a really lovely place to stay for a few nights, beautifully and thoughtfully put together - everything you could possibly need in the kitchen! Also it was in a lovely leafy quiet area but at the same time it was very central where everything is in walking distance. I would highly recommend - it's a gem!

Absolutely beautiful property. Interior was designed perfectly. Felt spacious. Had games available which was a nice extra touch. Location was a 20min walk to city centre.
