We had the best time with our two toddlers at the lodge. The kids books etc in some of the cupboards were a lovely touch. It was so private we could let the kids out on the decking and not worry (it’s gated) and was topped off by the fabulous weather we got. There was a power cut on our first night not long after we checked in, stressful but it was dealt with very quickly. Hopefully as the park grows, a little play park or something will be added in within a walking distance. The only minor thing was we had no dish towel and dish cloth. I get buying your own washing up liquid and counter spray etc but I think dish towel and dish cloth are more of an essential. If staying, I’d recommend to bring your own. Thank you, we had a blast and would definitely return!

Great stay at Kanara Positive: The Lodge is in a very quiet resort site . There is a pub that does beautiful food a 2 minute drive or 10-15 minute walk from kanara called the black bull inn. The Lodge was very clean , the master room had an ensuite and there is a second bathroom. The twin rooms are quite small but perfectly decent for children. Everything you need is in the Lodge for your stay. I would recommend. When we arrived the code didn't work on the lock box but phoned the host and stay number and got a very polite lady on the phone who helped and we got in no problem. Also received a lovely care package of teas and coffees and some biscuits etc which was a lovely touch.

Positive: Everything was perfect ! Lovely, clean, modern and well equipped lodge. My daughter had a meltdown because she didn't want to leave ! Negative: Only glitch is we weren't sent the pin code for the key lock in time prior to our stay so a quick call and it was sorted. No real issue

Beautiful new chalet Positive: Property was very clean, cosy and in a great location. The kitchen was well equipped and we felt the owner had thought of everything to make the property feel home from home. Negative: Beds smaller in the 2 bedrooms for teens / adults.

When we arrived at the chalet, we found that there was no mains water - a disappointing start to our trip! We called the host and were told they’d call the maintenance team and come back to us. While waiting for a call back, my husband managed to turn the water on. We then found dirty mugs, glasses, cutlery and pans during our stay - again, very disappointing. The dishwasher was pretty ineffective so, as a family of 5, we had an awful lot of washing up to do. On a more positive note, the chalet was as described, check in instructions were clear and the site and area are lovely.

Positive: We booked the lodge for our first family trip of the year and it exceeded our expectations. The Lodge is absolutely stunning in a perfect location for Flamingo Land. We can't wait to return!

We had a fantastic stay. Communication with the host was brilliant, carawan is very modern and well equipped with a close driving distance to Whitby. Park is very quiet perfect for a family chill. I will definitely recommend staying there.

Enjoyed a post Christmas break at Kinara Lodge. Used the lodge as a base to explore the local area. \nThe facilities in the lodge were as described. \nThe site is small but peaceful.\nWouldn’t mind retuning in the warmer months to explore more of the local area.

Really well equip, clean, absolutely everything included. Nice touches, lovely to arrive. Plenty space around. So clean and tidy. Good value for 6 people Just check postcode and link for location. What 3 words might be better

Thanks for a lovely stay. The chalet was absolutely gorgeous, everything pristine and fully equiped kitchen. Park will be great when fully opened but was quiet for us. Even enjoyed seeing a family of deer wandering through on two of the days! We spent a day in the Dalby Forest and a day at the coast, plenty around and Pickering is a lovely little town. Highly recommend.

Great wee find Positive: Remote, quiet and clean. Toys and books were a nice touch Negative: Bit awkward to find. Position on map could be better and calling was awkward as staff obviously haven't been on site, just reading from a script. Once we got the welcome pack it was easy to find and get access.

Lovely weekend away Positive: Immaculate property in a location ideal for us. Wouldn't be ideal if you wanted to walk to Pickering, but great for proximity to the showground. I loved the dishwasher! Negative: I'd have liked to have had a few extra towels

We went for a wake so served our purposes well, had trouble with getting in as key pad had jammed but managed to find someone on site who helped us get in and he gave me his number in case we had any problems. It will be a lovely site when completed but very quiet and a lovely setting

Brilliant location. Short drive to Whitby. Nice and peaceful stay. Spacious accommodation. Would recommend ☺️.

A lovely 2 night stay in the accommodation which was exceptionally clean in pristine condition. Located on a vey quiet site outside of Pickering but walkable. Would stay again for peace and relaxation.

Nicest static we’ve stayed in. The place was spotless and very peaceful, when the country park is totally completed it’ll be amazing, it’ll be good to see it develop more as we’ll definitely be staying again!!
