We had a great stay in Hunmanby Positive: Location perfect and quiet. Accommodation adequate for a short stay, nice patio area and safe for pets. Negative: The property could have been cleaner, dusty and the dirty threshold gives a poor impression of the property as soon as you enter. Lack of side plates and only one saucepan! Bed not very comfy and no bedside table, would be better to remove the huge lamp which is taking too much space up. Couldn’t find grey bin and the other recycling bins were full. Instructions for cooker, heating, where grey bin is etc would have been nice. Finally parking is great until you cannot access it. On the third day the key pad wouldn’t allow us back into the car park, rang the number in the booking email, the girl did ring back and said she had passed the info onto the property management. Didn’t hear anything from the property management therefore had to leave car on the roadside day & night until we checked out.

Great private location within a gated area. Spacious, generous area, very clean and tidy. So handy for exploring East Yorkshire. Enclosed front patio had a wall, not high, that kept my dog safe and somewhere to go. Would definately recommend and return here.

Lovely house, great location Positive: Lovely house in a great location. Shop and pubs within a few mins walk. Short drive to Filey, Brid & Scarborough. Well equipped kitchen. Parking space available. Nice secure yard with seating. Clean and modern. Great value for money, would definitely return! Negative: We liked everything! Only tiny suggestion would be the addition of bedside tables and mirrors in the bedrooms. But other than that, everything was great!

A beautiful, well presented, excellent location property and will definitely book again. Positive: Everything, it suited our needs perfectly. Negative: Nothing, loved it but felt the bedrooms need a mirror possibly a full length for the ladies who stay.

Great place to stay. Looked just like the photos.

Loved the location, house was clean and lovely presented. Comfy beds. Plenty of towels. Dedicated parking space in gated courtyard. Co-op just around corner very handy. Loved the village, very friendly and good for exploring surrounding areas. House has a great layout but very private as it is in very close proximity to neighbours, this didn’t bother us due to time of year. There is a lack of basic storage, e.g. dressing table downstairs, cupboard space for food or coat hooks near entrance. Practical side tables would be useful. There were no small plates (as previously reviewed so we knew to take our own). No information on how to use anything, no terrestrial tv (Roku). Plug in bath didn’t work therefore couldn’t have a bath, although shower is fine. Having said these things we had a lovely few days away, the only thing which would prevent us from returning were the sofas which have been replaced since the photos were taken and although look great were not hugely comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay in Hunmanby. Great to have a secure parking spot. We felt, however, that the cottage required more than the bare essentials. There was one saucepan, one hand towel no kitchen roll nor tin foil no cooking oil nor fresh milk on arrival which we have been used to in other Airbnbs. There were no instructions as to how to use the hob and we were unable to use it,therefore, as it did not work using our knowledge of induction hobs. With such small additions I would recommend.

Positive: LOCATION Negative: Bins full of rubbish and maggots,on arrival, Washing machine full of water and flashing lights, NO small bowls for cereal,no small plates. 2 toast toaster needs a 4 toaster, Minute ironing table top board no reason to not have a full size one. No bed side tables,no mirrors in bedrooms Clock on wall not working, TV!! what a nightmare, had to go into individual apps bbc, itv, etc to watch ,basically no terrestrial television. 50 Yard walk from parking bay with luggage and food....

A great place to stay to explore the Yorkshire coast. Very clean and tidy. All the amenities we needed. Nice patio area with table and chairs to hang out on a warm sunny evening. Comes with a private secure car park. Right round the corner from pubs and local shops. Overall a great place to stay.

Bright & Modern Positive: Bright space, the bifold doors in the living room really made the space feel huge. Private parking also a bonus. Negative: I would prefer black out blinds in the bedroom as it was very bright - but I loved that during the daytime! Need to take extra hand towels-1 isn't enough.

The home was much bigger than the photos show. It’s in a lovely quiet location with a pub just a 5 minute walk away as well as a co-op. Would definitely come again.

Lovely cottage in a great private community. The neighbours were all lovely and really helpful. Unfortunately, the shower and bath temperature was not hot. We had no hot water for a day and a half. The washing machine didn't work and the maintenance man wasn't able to repair it when he arrived. I had to use my suitcase as a bedside table as the table there had a large based lamp on it, so I was unable to put anything else on. Cottage in a very convenient position in the village, with access to shops and transport.

Beautiful close, great location and very clean Positive: Hunmanby is the friendliest of places, with a thriving church. Jubilee Close is a very well designed collection of houses and very quiet. House nice and clean and pillows very good. Negative: Just need to find and bring vertuo coffee pods if you want to use the Nespresso machine. But a cafetiere is also provided.

A great place as a base for exploring the Yorkshire coast line, very quiet and secure as it’s situated behind private electric gates with a dedicated parking space. Inside had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to stay at your property.

Fantastic property, very very clean and exactly as described.

A lovely property but the kitchen needs to be better equipped. Positive: This is a lovely property that has been renovated to a very high standard. Just over the road from a small supermarket. 10 minutes drive from a beach. Negative: The lack of crockery. No small plates or bowls. Only 4 cups. No plastic containers to use in the microwave. It’s frustrating to have to eat a sandwich off a baking tray.

What a lovely few days away! The house was to a high standard and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was very clean and nice touches like tea, coffee, chocolates and milk on arrival. We will definitely return, thank you.

Stayed at Jubilee Close for 3 nights. Very secluded and has a gated access to the Jubilee Close development. Bigger than it looks in the pictures and genuinely a charming cottage. Upon arrival, gates were closed and unsure how to get in - had to follow the link to the property guide so had to run in to the cottage to retrieve the keys with the gate fob to gain parking access. Lovely neighbours. Patio area pleasant with nice flower beds and outdoor table/chairs. Nice, clean and airy inside. Lots of kitchen facilities inc washing machine and dishwasher. Would 100% stay again, highly recommended for a break on the Yorkshire coast.
