A well located, clean & cosy property. Positive: This property was located well being a stones throw from two very nice pub/restaurants being The Pickled Pheasant and Finchys. It’s also a short walk from Holmfirth which has plenty to offer. The property itself is very clean, cosy and has a great garden view. I was impressed with the additional items for dogs such as extra dog bowls and a dog towel. It was smaller than expected but still had plenty of room and we stayed with a Great Dane.

Positive: Stunning accommodation, perfect location and great facilities. As a dog friendly property, the addition of a dog bed and food bowls was a pleasant surprise!!! Negative: Nothing, all was lovely.

We absolutely loved our stay away, it was the perfect relaxing weekend to switch off in a beautiful location with a cosy home to come back to. We both loved taking the dog and enjoying the stunningly decorated home :)

We had a wonderful stay here over the weekend. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in super easy. My partner and I especially loved the peaceful area. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful...would definitely return Positive: I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of this accommodation, it could not have been any better. The flat was equipped with everything you could possibly need and the Christmas tree was a real added bonus that my Grandson loved as this was our Father Christmas trip! Sadly the weather was shocking but the flat was so comfortable, being inside didn't spoil things. The bedding was excellent quality and the flat was lovely and warm. Negative: The only thing i can think of that was a bit of an issue was the warmth of the water when showering. It was a bit strange as the tap in the kitchen had hot water but the shower never really got too hot. But it definitely did not spoil our stay as everything else was exceptional.

Lovely, very comfortable apartment with sweet garden with a great view. The location was perfect for us - I was doing a Dinghy Training Course at Pennine Sailing Club. We would recommend and would definitely stay here again. Thank you

Holmfirth Hideaway Positive: The property was very nicely presented & very clean. The bed was comfortable & bathroom modern & clean & tidy. We found everything we could have wanted or needed for our stay, the hosts seem to have thought of everything! There were 2 small enclosed gardens, with a view, ideal if travelling with a dog. There were even some dog treats, bags & a dog towel provided (although we took pur own). Nice location close to Holmfirth & river Holme, with nice waterside walks. Would love to stay again if we are back in the area again.

Really lovely cosy apartment.

Great place with lovely neighbours. We really enjoyed the seating outside. The fenced in garden was perfect for our small dog. We were very comfortable, and would stay again! The location was superb.

Positive: Nice clean place & bed was comfy. Garden area was also lovely & a nice place to sit with your morning coffee (although we didn't sit out there as the weather wasn't great) There's no grass in the garden tho, so just be aware of that if you have dogs like ours that will only toilet on grass. To access the property the path does kinda go through the 'garden' area of neighbour who has 2 dogs (they seemed friendly tho & she did keep them in whilst we got our stuff & dogs in) but just another thing to be aware of. It isn't very big tho but was ok for a couple nights, 2 adults & 2 dogs We did find the smoke alarm very sensitive, even with the extractor fan on & the door open it still went off when we were cooking bacon for breakfast. Little shop opposite was quite handy & the pub further down (The picked Pheasant) was nice for some lunch & was dog friendly just check food times as they stopped serving for a couple hours during Saturday afternoon Overall it was a nice place & we had a good couple days away Negative: The shower didn't drain very well & the water spilled over the side as the door isn't a full door. We had to use a towel to stop the water & keep turning it off to allow the water to drain away. The water also didn't get very hot As others have said we also found the door lock very stiff The ceiling must be very thin as we could hear everything from the people upstairs & there was a lot of noise in the morning & evenings.

Absolutely lovely little place, decorated very well. Enclosed garden was very good for our 2 sausage dogs. The only issue we had with our stay was the loud noise from the house above. We could hear a child running around for several hours each day, and early in the mornings.

A nice stay Positive: The setting, decoration was of a high standard. Everything you needed for a good stay was there. Bed comfortable, nice towels provided. Negative: The hot water wasn't very hot when having a shower, the blind in the bedroom could do with being longer, as there is a light outside this window, to help the bedroom be darker. The lock on the door needs a little attention, a little stiff. Understand the need for security lighting, but on going to sit on the decking, there is no way to turn this off, to enjoy the setting/stars further.

I had a lovely stay here! The location is absolutely beautiful and the place itself is gorgeous, exactly like the photos. Everything was spotless on arrival and communication with the host was great throughout — really friendly and quick to respond. The only slight issue was the heating; it felt a bit cold during the weekend, but to be fair the weather was extremely cold outside. Other than that, everything was perfect and I’d definitely stay again!

the property was excellent, it would have been excellent on a summer night to sit outside in the garden. only slight downside was it felt a little bit strange going through someone else's garden to get to the property But everything else was excellent
