We had a lovely long weekend, the place was immaculate and had everything that we needed. The onsite staff were really friendly and helpful. Having the onsite restaurant was a real bonus. The surroundings and nature onsite was lovely. We had a really lovely time.

Fantastic stay with family and friends celebrating a birthday. Well presented living area and bedrooms. We loved having the hot tub as well. Fantastic location as well. Only half hour drive into York which was really convenient as we spent most of our time there.
Lovely weekend away! My son loved the hot tub.xx Positive: Everything Negative: It was a personal issue as I had my son with me who is autistic, I would have preferred the front door had have a key lock. But apart from that there was no issues.
We booked a couple of nights away to finish the holidays. It was lovely so relaxing quiet and restaurant on site was lovely too and well organised with great service. Already looking to come again xx

Relaxing getaway, great way to reconnect with the family Positive: Lovely clean modern lodge in a great location, kids loved their en-suite, and the hot-tub, the park for the kids was great, and the small ponds and wildlife were a bonus. Enjoyed bat watching at dusk, also the onsite restaurant was great. Negative: Main bed was very uncomfortable, thin mattress, could feel every spring. No tea or coffee, which was a little strange, we’ve never had to bring our own, in other lodges we’ve stayed at.
Absolutely blissful Positive: Beautiful perfect stay for my suprise birthday treat. I've recommended to everyone we can't wait to come back for another relaxing stay. We want to thank everyone for hospitality. Negative: Although everything was perfect the only thing we would change is more on site for food choices. We booked a night in the restaurant and then it was cancelled so we were really disappointed with that.
Positive: Spacious, well designed lodges. Peaceful surroundings. Nicely decorated. Negative: Sofas were slightly uncomfy/hard. Beds were very very soft mattress. No hand soap provided. Glasses in the cupboard were unclean on arrival.

A super find! Positive: Loved the location for visiting so many local places. The lodge was clean, well designed, lots of storage. The park itself was lovely and quiet. The restaurant and bar were excellent and great choice of beers for small bar. I would strongly recommend this location for a short stay. Negative: The double bed. After reading a couple of reviews, I thought it may not be great but not too bad. I was wrong. The double bed is in desperate need of replacing as it is impossible to get any quality sleep.
