Beautiful lodge with hot tub, had a lovely weekend exactly what we expected. Would definitely recommend

Had a lovely stay - great things to do on the site. Lovely playground for the kids and a great bar/restaurant. Beds were a bit hard but we soon got used to them. Lots of space to store your things. We were given a lovely treat basket on arrival too - which was a lovely surprise. Hot tub was working great and there were plenty of towels. Windows could do we with a clean but other than that we were happy.

We were extremely disappointed with our stay and would discourage others from booking until the issues are addressed. We booked primarily for the hot tub, but it was unusable throughout our stay. We reported the faults immediately, followed up several times, and provided photos and videos, yet the host never responded. We also found damage inside and outside the lodge, old cobwebs, what appeared to be old stains on the bedding, and a strong smell of dog with dog hair throughout, despite the listing stating no pets were allowed. The property is now listed under a different name (Felton Flat), which we found confusing. Overall, we do not feel the price reflected the standard of accommodation or service we received, compared to properties we have stayed in the past. We appreciate Airbnb’s prompt support and their decision to issue a partial refund after reviewing our complaint.

Lovely location, easy access from the A1. Is a little tired in places but evrything you need. My only downside was, for the money you paid, they ask that you take rubbish, take sheets of bed and more. Also the hot tub didn’t work properly, but was hot and nice.

Great communication from host from start ro end. The little welcome pack was a fab touch and much appreciated. The cabin had everything you needed from washing up liquid to shower gel, these little touches make a massive difference! Location was great and very peaceful, a great base to explore the northumberland coast
