Beautiful lodge and hot tub. Ideal location on site and area. Missing basic complimentary items. Positive: Perfect area within the park. The end of a cul-de-sac so it felt quite private especially when using the hot tub. Very clean and spacious. Looks just like the advertised pictures. Great area for local walks and 15 minutes drive to the park and ride into York. Beautiful pub on site. Dogs welcome in specific areas. Negative: The main entrance smells doggy but rest assured the cabin itself did not smell of animals at all. The seat cushions need replacing. I got back ache sitting on the sofas. There are is no complimentary items including wading up liquid. There are no cleaning products, cloths or tea towels. I have never been to a self catering stay without these items being supplied.

Positive: The property is stunning, very comfy and well done out. Negative: Check in being 4 is a little late when check out is 10am. The pans could have been a bit better but this is very minor and it definitely wouldn’t put me off booking this property again.

Lovely stay, clean and cosy. Hot tub was good. Few minor things to improve the stay would be some recycling bins and handwash in the toilets, few extra pillows in each bedroom would be great. Overall, had a lovely time & would definitely return!
