impeccable standards & extremely affordable! We had the most perfect stay - already looking at booking again!

Lovely lodge on a wonderful site. Positive: Lovely lodge in a great location. Ample space for our group of 8. We had a great weekend. Beautiful site with a lovely bar & restaurant. Negative: Unfortunately, the pillows were uncomfortable.

The place was lovely but was lacking in equipment since we booked it as a party of 8. There was only two wine glasses so had to go to reception and ask for some more (did leave a message requesting some the day before from reception but never heard back so had to walk down next day to get some) only 6 chairs and a table for 6 so had to bring in the patio bench so we could all eat together . Mostly only enough things for 6 people . Overall though a nice setting and a clean property.

Would stay again, brilliant memories made Positive: Location was fab, bedrooms very big, great communication with the hosts, loved having the hot tub, big sized kitchen and living area Negative: Hot tub never checked while there and also the cleaners could have done better before we arrived but I’m picky

Positive: Easy access to York have stayed here before but with allerthorpe direct. Negative: Hot tub was full of leaves, not much you can do about that as so many trees near the lodge but we spent alot of time fishing them out.

Beds were comfy It was quiet It was clean Well worth the money Negative: The leaves get abit much by the tree A few random bits of broken toys left from previous owners The hot tub was missing a head rest And radiator needs up dating in main bathroom

Great cabin, very clean and in nice area. Lost internet halfway through the stay which was annoying but apart from that all good

Very disappointing Positive: The beds were comfortable Negative: Parts of the lodge were not clean! 7 of us staying but the pull out bed was so uncomfortable it dipped down and no bedding ready for it! Only 4 wine glasses and 1 tall glass for 7 of us! The table outside was filthy we had to clean it when we were there! The rug outside was filthy and sodden!

Positive: The lodge was lovely and modern and the layout was good. It was the biggest one we have stayed in. Negative: There was no frying pan or toilet roll provided.

40th weekend Positive: We enjoyed the space and beds very comfortable. Negative: Hardly any cups or glasses 1 prosecco glass between 7 woman, no oven mits so my mum burnt her fingers a few times when cooking. No sponge dish cloth hanfsoap, fairyliquid or toiletroll and only given 2 dish wash tabs.

Positive: Everythink

Avoid going there. Cold jacuzzi and extra fees ! Positive: Nothing Negative: Very old, hot tube not working properly, reportted issues at the beginning but staff is trying to apply additional fees. WiFi wasn't working. I am not happy with the stay. An old lodge, lots of damages. Avoid going there. They will rip u off. Cold jacuzzi. Avoid avoid!

Positive: Loved the space and decor- everything we needed Negative: Shower is bedroom was only at one temperature Lots of spiders

Perfect . Loved it ! Positive: The lodge is beautiful , cosy and we had a great time . Will defo be back ! Negative: Dishwasher needs a good clean, crockery and cutlery came out dirtier than it went in

Lovely weekend break, second time I have stayed on this site. Clean and very friendly staff in a great location. Will definitely recommend.

Lovely stay, location was really good, would recommend Positive: The lodge was really big and spacious. Hot tub and balcony really nice would love to go back in summer. Restaurant on site gorgeous food!

Excellent would definately stay again Positive: The lodge was amazing. Everyrhung was ready for us to arrive. Negative: It was abit out the way of york had some trouble getting an uber to york but no problem getting back.
