Nice home Positive: Lovely house Near to beach and shops Nice courtyard garden. Comfy beds plenty of space for family and 2 tvs Good communication regarding keysafe and any messages we sent were answered promptly Negative: Be aware there is no washing machine although we noted that before our trip. Also parking is limited outside but there is plenty of paid or if you dont mind walking 5-10 mins you can find free parking spaces too.

A really lovely house in a fantastic location close to the Old Town, beach and Turner gallery. It worked really well as a family home for a holiday. The only downside was no travel cot, which we had mentioned in advance. As it’s obviously a good fit and marketed as a family place for think a travel cot would be a good investment, as it would have made a big difference to us who travelled by train and had to carry one from home. A little flexibility around leaving luggage after checking out would have been appreciated, though I understand it’s not always possible. But aside from this it was a lovely place and we would definitely return.
Read carefully the whole property description, you will be charge additional fees outside the platform. The travel cot for 6 months old son was missing no attempt to help us / provide us with one was made during the whole stay… it says it all

Great house, great value but money but please change your mattresses! Positive: The house was lovely and clean with a great big dinner table and lots of outside seating. Negative: The beds were really uncomfortable.

Such a lovely place to stay, very clean, everything we could possibly need, tasteful and close to the town and beach. We didn’t expect a Christmas tree! This made it a perfect festive break. Highly recommend and would return without hesitation.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The downside was the 10am checkout even though on the day we arrived they said that no one Positive: The property was clean and served my friends and I well. It’s also centrally located and walking distances to main attractions. Negative: The 3rd room gave very much study turned room, so quite small. The WiFi only worked downstairs and not upstairs in the bedroom. The property was musty upon entrance but that could be due to the fact that there may not have been tenants there before us. It is on a street that many people walk past so you do get to hear a lot of the foot traffic/ conversations in the morning
Perfect seaside home Positive: It was honestly the perfect property. Stayed for 3 nights with my wife, our 3 year old and my parents. We really appreciated the back garden space. The layout of the property was ideal for our needs. Really clean and well maintained. We used to live in Margate and it felt like having our own little home again by the sea. Negative: N/A

It's a lovely clean home, with a big lounge/diner and a nice patio area. Amenities in the home were as described and in the photos; all in good condition. Despite being near to the front, the road was quiet. It was a shame that when we arrived the black wheelie bin by the front door was overflowing with several black bin bags surrounding it. The bin men came the next morning but only emptied the bin and left the four other bin bags. There's been a heatwave so this was unpleasant to sort out and almost filled the wheelie bin again. I think the cleaners should take the excess rubbish away rather than leaving for guests. It was also a shame that there was no flexibility to drop bags early as there are no lockers at the train station. And this is where an individual host, rather than a company, would have been more accommodating, I think. Aside from this, we had a lovely stay. The home is very near Dreamland and the beach and a short walk from the old town.
The house wasn't very clean. I had a bit of trouble using the shower because it wasn't connected to the taps properly. There was only one black trash bag provided for our six-day stay. Aside from those issues, everything else went well. The house is in a great location, within walking distance of the beach and local shops, which made our stay very convenient.
I came with my toddler and my mom so the location of the house was absolutely perfect as both of them can’t walk too long without complaining ha. The house was so lovely and very clean. The instructions for check in and check out were easy to follow. I would definitely stay here again as I am hoping to come back to Margate as I enjoyed it so much.

we had a good time, the house was nice and the location was close to everything. the only downside was that we needed more toilet paper than the 1 spare roll that was provided. minor issue and overall a positive experience.

Dales house was nice and clean and very comfortable. We overall enjoyed our stay although found the kitchen to be less than fully equipped. We were left with 1 bin bag for our 5/6 day stay. And no washing up brushes. Couldn’t find a tin opener etc. Our main issue was the communication. The house is run by a management company who send generic messages that sound like you are talking to a bot. We left our toaster there (we take our own as our daughter is coeliac) and immediately let them know and said i could come collect as i was local however it has been taken to a storage facility 45 min drive away. Communication was unhelpful overall.

Great Location to explore Margate
Spent a couple of days in Margate seeing the sights and walking around the town. House is well located and although there's no parking at the house the public car park on mill lane is extremely close.
Comfortable accommodation. Positive: No breakfast provided. Negative: Parking is a nightmare.parking in multi story only viable option £9 a day free on saturday.
Dale’s place is a good location to explore Margate and a good base to visit other coastal Kent towns. Easy walk to Broadstairs. Close to Dreamland, old town & the beach. Plenty of restaurants, cafes & bars nearby. Clean place with comfortable beds. Good central heating & hot water. Nice outdoor space. Kitchen had a few basics like tea bags & salt.
Amazing wall inspo; clean and well-kept house. Positive: Well kept property. Negative: We came on time but because cleaner was still there, it took 2hrs before we can go inside. Asked if its possible to check out 1hr after supposed checkout time since we checked in 2hrs late bec of cleaner, but was no response at the end.

Gorgeous house! Fab location just 3 minute walk from parking and so close to the centre you can hear dreamland :) All of the beds were comfortable and plenty of space for hanging your clothes. The heating was on so it was lovely and warm in there. Lovely fluffy towels. Powerful shower! And a clean cosy garden. Some things to consider, the fridge had crumbs and stuff spilled in it from previous guests, so we didn’t use it. Some toothpaste on the wall and dried down the sink which is slightly off putting. And the TV is temperamental so if you are planning to chill for a couple of hours then maybe bring an ipad. We could only get YouTube to work properly. But overall and lovely place and we would definitely stay again when visiting Margate. Location is 10/10!

A home from home Positive: Lounge was just lovely. Very comfortable seating. Loved the map on the wall and all the artwork throughout. Loved the birdsong from outside. Bedrooms very good and comfy beds and crisp cotton sheets/duvet covers. The location was fab as close to sea front and the High Street and our favourite restaurants. Loved the chime from the clock Tower? Absolutely loved staying here and will come again. Negative: Shower could do with hand rails and non-slip mat please. Not easy to access it if an older person. Water took a long time to heat up at first but once it came it was fine. Had to be careful with shower as went too hot or too cold to start with. Could just have been us though. Toilet seat needs to be adjusted as is a bit off centre. Plumper pillows maybe would be good.

Der Code zur Schlüsselübernahme war falsch und bei betreten der Wohnung ging die Alarmanlage los. Die Servicenummer hat super geholfen und mit den richtigen Codes war alles gut. Ein Hinweis zum parken des Autos wäre auch schön.

We spent a long weekend in this property. The place was easy to find, with clear instructions provided. The host was very responsive when we had a question. The house was very clean, warm and tidy. We didn’t spend much time there during the day but everything was in order and very comfortable.

Great place to stay which is just outside the old town making it all easy and accesible. The space was clean and comfortable. Felt right at home even for a short stay! Dale communicated really well and gave us so much information for everything: things to do, places to eat and things to see!

Positive: Het huis was schoon en ruimtelijk. De bedden waren keurig opgemaakt. Bij aankomst krijg je de code en een app waarin allerlei informatie wordt vermeld over het huis maar ook over de omgeving, erg fijn! Negative: Er is geen parkeergelegenheid voor het huis. Wel vaak in de straten rondom het huis. Bij het in- en uitladen kan je de auto er wel even voor parkeren.
Great location and good value for money. Positive: Very clean and spacious with good facilities and well-equipped kitchen. Place was easy to find and very near centre of town/old town and the sea front. Instructions on picking up the keys, checking in and out were good and clear. Negative: Mattress on the double bed was a bit soft/uncomfortable.
We had a wonderful time exploring Margate thanks to this fantastically located property. The house itself is tastefully decorated and furnished, and the kitchen has everything you could need. A few bits and bobs weren't completely clean and there were a few parts of the home that didn't quite work (the outside space is very welcoming and the bathroom door lock was broken). Overall, 4 out of 5 stars
Complaint I. Progress Positive: Space and how close it was to the town Negative: The host lied to me the night before telling me that for a week I would have two towels per person but instead only had 1 towels per person which lead to us spending money to buy some, replies were slow and ignored, still ignored and it’s annoying because I specifically asked the night before since they didn’t have a washing machine otherwise I would have brought my own towels knowing how dirty you can get from the beach and needing towels each night. So they are liars and I still haven’t had a response. You can get better elsewhere. They also only have 1 tea towel for the washing up for the entire week again disgusting. You can get better elsewhere
We enjoyed our stay in the house. It was warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped although it had a small fridge to cater for four people. The location suited us as it was close to the beach and shops. However, we were not told that outdoor live music from Dreamland would be played on Friday and Saturday nights from 17h30 to 22h30. It could be heard inside the house and was quite intrusive.

Good location, nice house, lots of space and well equipped. Good comms from host. Note they ask for off AirBnB deposit (which was fine) but a bit cheeky charging £10 fees for taking the deposit!
It was a very nice place for us to stay.
