We really enjoyed our stay at the Sandbeck and will be going back. Positive: We didn’t actually have the breakfast provided, but as a little something to start your day would have been fine. Loved the sea front location and room balcony. Only a few steps or a short street walk into the town and harbour. The owners were on hand as we arrived and helped us with the self check in system and the parking arrangement. The bedroom was plenty big enough for us and the bed was very comfortable. Negative: The car parking on the street is confusing when never done before , but we know how it works now so its an ok system for next time. I’m sorry to say but our toilet wasn’t as clean as it should have been, so that was a job I didn’t expect to have to do on arrival . Not very much space to put toiletries and the free standing towel rail needs a re-think.. A little awkward I think as it is.
