Great location Positive: Great location. Spacious house with room for 4 adults and a little dog. Big secure garden. Negative: There wasn't a light in the garden so had to use torches. A few maintenance issues that we spotted ( carpet on the stairs unstuck, stool in the kitchen unsafe and wobbly) The welcome guide asked us to put bedding and towels in black bags on departure but there were none provided

We were delighted with the cottage from the moment we arrived. It’s cosy, clean, warm and feels like it’s just been completely renovated to a high standard. The location is great, parking worked outside the door and the dog was welcome and very comfortable. We’ll be back.

Cottage was clean and homely. Kitchen was well equipped. Garden secluded and enclosed for dogs. Only negative was it was on a busy road with trucks and lorries day and night but mainly heard at the front of the property. Plenty of walks from front door and friendly shops and pubs (dog friendly)

Love the area. Very impressed with the market square. Excellent range of cafes to sit outside with a dog. Harry’s fish a Positive: Comfortable, access to town , parking outside, secure garden. Easy access to countryside walks without using the car Negative: Heavy traffic road noise, garden furniture not cleaned and garden overgrown. Biggest complaint the television set up. We found it almost impossible to get live TV even following the instructions.

Lovely Cottage Positive: The cottage is gorgeous with everything we could possibly need for our stay. It's been very well thought out and has some lovely homely touches and is decorated beautifully. Lovely and clean, garden is very pretty and enclosed, so good for the dog. Location, in terms of distance to everything Masham has to offer, is perfect. Negative: It's on a very busy road, not very wide but the speed that the trucks go past at is enough to make the bed shake! I was woken each morning around 5.30 as the traffic started. It is an old property and so would have been a lovely quiet road at one time, so completely understand that this can't be helped. The TV is only for streaming so difficult to watch live TV, all channels are available but as there is no guide it's easy to miss stuff. Having said that we didn't really stay in to watch much TV, but I could see it being a problem. A little welcome pack would be nice, milk, tea and coffee. There was a couple of tea bags, I presume left by a previous guest, but I had read reviews saying there wasn't anything so fortunately brought some.

The cottage is beautifully decorated with lots of lovely accessories. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds and sofas were very comfortable. The garden was safely enclosed for our dog and there is an area that's a sun trap with near the kitchen door. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Had a lovely stay here. The house had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. We thought the small, extra touches made it feel very welcoming and homely. Great little enclosed back garden for the pooches to mooch about in and a suitable location to walk into Masham. Thank you.

Lovely stay in Masham in a cosy cottage. Positive: Great location for exploring Masham and surrounding Dales. Well presented and very clean. Had all the amenities needed. Really useful welcome book. Brilliant that they are dog friendly and have a secure garden. Negative: Dogs cannot go upstairs or on furniture. Keeping dogs downstairs without any gate is quite tricky so worth baring in mind. The property also opens onto the street so some dog owners may find this hard to manage.

A totally relaxing few nights away in a wonderful cottage a short stroll away from Masham Mafket pkace! Positive: A true ‘home from home’ very clean, extremely comfortable and beautifully appointed. A fully equipped kitchen. Lovely outdoor seating area, it was a super sun trap and we enjoyed relaxing outdoors as the weather was ‘very kind’ to us with bright sunshine. A luxury huge bed, so very comfortable. Our dog Hector loved playing in the secluded garden too 🐾 Negative: There was nothing ‘not’ to like ☺️

Lovely cottage, very homely. Positive: Comfy beds and good location for the walk into the centre. Garden great for our dog. Convenient parking outside. Negative: Dishwasher filter was dirty and looked like hadn’t been cleaned for ages. Full of food. I cleaned it out! Some Crockery and pans needed washing before use. Hob lights need changing. More than one tea towel for a 10 day break would have been good.

Disappointed overall Positive: Lovely comfy huge beds Good cooking utensils Negative: The upstairs toilet door was very, very difficult to open, elderly mum was stuck in there & very distressed. Had to leave open with no privacy. Also no ventilation in there! No welcome pack with essentials which was expected due to the high price - all other properties we stay in have good ones. The road is very noisy with lorries, we were unaware there was a mill up the road with numerous HGV passing constantly. The garden has a right of way across the top which was not ideal with a dog.

Lovely cottage, easy to find and access was simple, overall the cottage was clean and comfortable a few cobwebs here and there, but otherwise clean! Lovely area with lots of nice pubs and places to eat within walking distance. Down by the river is a nice place to walk the dog, would highly recommend this lovely place, hope to visit again in the future!

The cottage is beautiful and the hosts are informative and helpful. A good size property for our family of 4, including 2 teenagers, plus a quaint private garden space, ideal for our dogs. Although parking was never an issue, space outside the property is limited and the road is very busy. However, Masham village square is a 5 minute walk and has ample parking and a great pub/restaurant called the Kings Head. Highly recomend this property as a base for exploring North Yorkshire.

The cottage was very pleasant and had a garden for a dog which was very handy. The curtains do let the Sun in in the morning so bring some blackout blinds. The location was excellent and very close to the town centre and lots of plenty of walks straight from the front door.

Loved our stay at willow green it was perfectly situated in the gorgeous Masham. The cottage was beautiful and very clean, the garden was lovely and so nice that it was secure for the dog. We will definitely be returning.

What a beautiful place!! Our family absolutely loved staying at Green Willow. The town of Masham is so quaint and just a short stroll away! The house was incredibly cozy and beautifully done. We absolutely LOVED our time in the Dales and hope to stay here again some day!

I stayed for a week with my two young boys, we loved the cottage. Was very comfortable and clean. Positive: The interiors and coziness of the cottage. The beds were very comfy, the shower head lovely. Loved the kitchen island set up. Negative: No coffee machine :) The recycling box outside the cottage wasn’t collected all week and wheelie bin gave off a funny smell.

Amazing couple of nights away with our family. Lots to do in the area and the surrounding area. The house was a brilliant base for us to have some family days out.

A great 4 night stay over New Year & into 2026. Brilliant cottage, with every amenity needed, including a cracking open fire. Only a very short 3/4 minute walk in to Masham & all it has to offer....great pubs, restaurants & shops & Coop for any last minute needs. Plenty of great walks straight out of the front door. Free on street parking outside the front of the cottage

Fantastic at Christmas Positive: An amazing and well equipped home. Fantastic location in a lovely village. We stayed at Christmas and it was very well decorated in every room. No problem parking outside. Negative: Outside light wasn,t working, but there is a torch so not too much of a problem.

Very good position to take advantage of Masham. Very well equiped made magical at Christmas time with real fire Christmas Market all in the snow!

Brilliant Air Bnb, and great value for money

Spent a week here, could really have stayed much longer - Its a perfect property in a perfect location. The host was really helpful and responsive, and the cottage was really easy to find just round the corner from the main square in Masham, about a 5 minute stroll if walking. On arriving, we had the instructions on how to gain access and this was very easy. Once inside, it felt like being at home, really comfortable and very welcoming. An instruction folder for the cottage, plus lots of information on local walks and places to visit, which was really helpful. The cottage itself is as described, 2 good sized bedrooms, good size bathroom downstairs and a toilet upstairs. The kitchen was of a good size and well equiped. The garden was an added benefit and a great place to sit after a long day out walking. Masham itself, is a lovely market town with good pubs and shops, and within easy reach of the wonderful dales and near by picture postcard villages. Perfect cottage & a perfect location

A very comfortable two weeks in a beautiful part of the world. The garden is a real bonus.

Would not stay again bad experience Positive: Decor was good and size was good for a couple with a walk into town Negative: Cottage was dirty cutlery and pans with food stuck on. Toilet and floors not cleaned to a decent standard. Signs of major leak and back door lock broken so unable to open. Reported issues but fobbed off by management who were totally disinterested and more concerned about the security deposit

A nice base with lovely decor. Close to market square. Some amenities (washing machine and travel cot) not accessible as advertised.

Excellent little cottage in ideal location to enjoy Masham and surrounding areas. Five minute walk to town centre. Cottage was even better than the photos suggested and had everything you could need for a short stay. Would deffinatelly recommend this to others.

Enjoyed our stay in Masham. Cottage well located, walking distance from everywhere in the town, easy to park and lots of good dog walks close by.

A comfortable, homely stay - Lovely to have access to a garden, and plenty spacious for four guests, comfortable beds and seating, bright and clean inside The kitchen is well equipped with appliances / utensils / crockery etc but missing kitchen towel / tin foil etc which is a little awkward when planning to cook during your stay, but there is a small local coop nearby - Bathroom missing a lock and a mat for the shower (later found shower mat outside on chairs in rain) Host states beds can be set up as twins or doubles, this was agreed in advance but incorrect on arrival and we couldn’t reach the host during our stay - As cottage appears to be part of a larger chain, we expect the issues were more to do with communication / cleaning team Walking distance from market square with several cafes and pubs Despite teething issues would stay again

What an adorable cottage. We loved our stay. Comfy bedrooms and especially having a toilet on the same floor. Dog friendly enclosed garden. We left the outdoor furniture cushions in the shed as it had rained. Beautifully decorated. All the conveniences in the house that you need. Masham is an a great town. Lovely pubs/restaurants/cafes. Very friendly place. The Yorkshire people do love a wee chat with you. Nearby interesting places to visit. Great base. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Comfortable cottage in a lovely little village. Beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed (lots of cutlery/crockery so we could use the dishwasher without running out). Parked on the road right outside with no issues. Road does have large vehicles/tractors using it. The Kings Head Hotel does great food at very reasonable prices. The Coop supermarket has most things you would need.

Great cottage Positive: The cottage was in an ideal location albeit on a main road. Great for visiting local attractions. The enclosed garden was great for sitting out in the evening. Negative: It wasn’t very clean on our arrival.

Looks good but too many issues that should be sorted. Positive: Handy location for going into town centre. Negative: Located on busy noisy road, especially from 5.30am to 9.30am. House adjoining was being renovated, Friday afternoon, all Saturday, Sunday and Monday, plus Tuesday morning before departure. Some pans and utensils dirty. One pan had to have handle tightened. Android TV could only be used through mobile phone, even for basic channels. 2nd toilet door difficult to open from inside and outside . Anyone booking this property should ensure that they take ALL basics. Do not expect to find much in the property.

Fantastic Stay, highly recommended Positive: Great stay at Green Willow. Clean, comfortable and in a lovely setting. Couldn't have asked for more really. Plenty of room for the kids to play and the little enclosed garden at the back was a nice change of scene for them. The cottage is just a stones throw from the village square and there's a good recreational area about 5mins walk away The bathroom and kitchen was nicely done as well equipped so eating-in was no issue at all. Would 100% come back if staying in North Yorks again. Negative: Only two tiny, very minor points and both are only applicable if you're staying in summer. Firstly, the nature of the cottage means it's absolutely boiling upstairs, some fans wouldn't go amiss to make the night times a bit more comfortable. Secondly, the curtains are rubbish...didn't really block any light out so again, in summer it was sub-optimal.

Lovely home set mid-terrace around 500 metres from the centre of Masham. The layout of the home is perfect for up to 4 people with a thru lounge, dining area and kitchen. Plenty of parking is available outside or on an adjacent road, only 20 metres away. If you have a dog, there are a number of nearby walks from a footpath only 50 metres away across the fields, around the church and alongside the river Ure. We would recommend staying here.

Positive: Small compact and tidy. Beds were comfortable and downstairs shower was good. Negative: No washing up liquid. No tin foil to keep grill pans clean and easier to wash. Usually there is a small welcome pack when I stay at air B&B.

A well presented cottage in superb location Positive: Fantastic location for visiting Masham and the surrounding area. Nice lounge area with open fire, well equipped kitchen and a beautiful little garden with seating. Beds very comfortable and furnished to a good spec. Clean, well maintained. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning if back in the area.

Green willow was a cosy and comfortable location and garden was great for my dogs! I really loved the location with plenty going on in the area!

We really like the house as it works for our party. However, we were disappointed with the bed arrangements, we also needed to clean the jets on the gas hob to make two of them work. The house is looking a little tired in places and things were missing from our last stay, like the stools in the kitchen.

Cottage at described, pictures are a good representation. All good, would recommend cottage, and of course Masham.

This is the 1st time we have used Air B&B /Host and Stay. The communication and information has been extremely good from the outset. Location of the cottage was good. It was well equipped and had every thing you need for a short break. It was comfortable and well maintained.

However, I have stayed in over 40 airbnbs and this is the first time I have been asked if I wanted to pay a 'damage waiver'. this made me anxious so I paid it ... then when i arrived a text telling me to report all damage in case of extra charge .. there was firewood but you had to pay for it ... i had asked about a late checkout (i had offered to pay) and kept being told ' we will get back to you' before finally being told no. Then more messages warning 'extra charges' if i did check out. it all seemed really impersonal. as it was we did check out 10.minutes late because the shower had leaked. Im sorry if this review seems negative - airbnb is meant to be rather more relaxed than this.

Great place to stay in Masham, very close to the centre. The house is really well equipped with pretty much everything you could need. Really felt like a home away from home, would definitely stay again!

We have just got back from a four night stay in Willow Cottage and loved it. It’s like home from home - spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and a nice secure garden. It’s only a short walk into the square and several other walks from the door. Perfect place to stay from a trip to the dales, we will be visiting again for sure

Had a lovely stay at the cottage. Well equipped and comfy beds. Walkable into Masham - less than 5 minutes. Cottage on a main road but we weren’t bothered by traffic noise - I had a good sleep & I am a very light sleeper! It didn’t bother us but you may not always get a parking space right outside the cottage. Thank you for a great stay.

I booked this for my parents to have a few nights away, they had a wonderful time, enjoyed the walks and the area. The bed was extremely comfy and they had everything they needed and loved the accommodation. highly recommended

Positive: Beautiful, clean and very cosy. Very comfortable and lovely decor. Well maintained and great location. Negative: There was an issue with the shed lock, to access firewood, garden furniture and washing machine. After lots of communication, the issue was still not resolved during our stay. The heating was erratic, going on and off at peculiar hours.

We had a very relaxing stay in this lovely cottage that had everything needed including a sweet garden, comfortable big beds and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the interiors. Parking is easy, right outside the cottage front door. We would definitely recommend.

Nice house in a great twin We really enjoyed our stay in Masham. The house is exactly as described in the listing and was just what we wanted. Would not have lost a star for cleanliness if the beakers in the bathroom and loo had been clean. Otherwise excellent.

We had a wonderful 2 night break. communications with the host was excellent and we would stay there again.

Our stay in Masham was made even better by the beautiful cottage provided by Dale. It was spotless and we felt right at home as soon as we got in. We had no issues at all with our stay as all communication was pro idea proactively by Dale. We would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a cosy cottage in the countryside.

Pretty cottage in great location but host and stay a pain to deal with! Positive: Location was great Negative: I didn’t like the pre stay contact from you! Countless messages with links missing and requests for photo ID isn’t something I’ve come across before. Although I liked the house I didn’t like dealing with host and stay.

Lovely cottage. Very homely. Be prepared for some noisy farm traffic at 5am though! Better with window closed the second morning.

A lovely cottage with some quality fixtures and fittings. Very clean and comfortable. Would easily recommend. In need of a little TLC here and there but nothing that affects your stay. Parking is advertised as 'on premises' but it is actually on street, but we never had a problem parking outside the front door. Maybe it is just the Yorkshire in me but a Teapot would be nice (not included). Overall though a great place to stay and in a great location to either drive out to the many sights of the Dales or a walk into the town centre for a pub, shop or café.
