We stayed, 2 adults & 4 children including a toddler. The toddler slept on a mattress in with us and the other 3 kids had a double & 2 singles. Nicely proportioned cottage for 6 of us. Simple & clean inside. We had a hot water issue on the first night but the host had this fixed by the second night, and it was a Sunday of a bank holiday weekend. The outdoor space in the back was good for sitting outside late. Stokeley is a beautiful village. We’ll definitely stay again when we come back to the North East.

Positive: Excellent location, well presented and finished. Lovely local village with everything you need. Bedding and towels very luxurious. Private, outdoor seating area. Coffee machine, small amount of tea and coffee and bottle of Prosecco provided. On street parking but easy to find a space whenever we needed. TVs throughout the home, brilliant for staying with family so there are multiple break out areas. Fabulous bathroom fittings and exceptionally well finished. Good showers! Beautiful home, well worth a visit. Negative: I am nitpicking but there was only one tea towel provided, cheap feeling cutlery and small wine glasses. A hairdryer and full length mirror would be also be good.

Lovely house, very clean and comfortable and very well maintained and presented. Felt right at home immediately. The property is situated in a convenient location, close to all local amenities in Stokesley. Restaurants, shops etc. Great base to get out and explore the area around the moors whether you’re a walker or biker. Would definitely use it again and recommend.

This house was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The location is perfect for restaurants, shops, takeaways etc. Both bathrooms are very nice. I would stay here again.

Lovrly Stokesley. Positive: Location , lovely open plan room. Could've done with more greenery in the yard area. Negative: TV in the living room wouldn't tune into quite a few LIVE TV channels - ended up using apps.

Everything was fantastic, the cottage position / location is perfect for what we wanted, shops,cafes,pubs,everything was on your doorstep. Position for getting around to other towns, attractions and walks is ideal! Would highly recommend this cottage,and can't wait to return.

Weekend in stokesley Positive: A lovely cottage in a great location, a short walk from everything Stokesley had to offer. It was well equipped and very clean. Negative: Could have been more storage in bedrooms. In one of the rooms we had to fix the slats on the bed

Fantastisch! Positive: Een heel schoon en comfortabel huisje, echt heerlijke bedden en beddengoed, in tijden niet zo goed geslapen en de sfeer was ook heel goed! Grappig dorpje, lekkere fish and chips gehaald op een paar minuten lopen en ook een kleine Co-op en bakker om de hoek. Altijd parkeergelegenheid voor de deur en dat in het hoogseizoen. Voor ons perfect voor tripjes naar York (geweldige stad), North York Moors (zo mooi) en Whitby.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. It is so central in a lovely town with plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs all within a few minutes walk. Would highly recommend staying here. Everything you need is available and the house is spotless, comfortable and very homely.

This a great place to stay for a few days. The area has lots to see and do. The house was lovely, well equipped and conveniently located.

Positive: Really beautiful house. Bed in 2nd double bedroom is quite small lacking a few things such as dishcloth, kitchen roll etc. But other than than that could not fault Negative: Nothing

Beautiful cottage in a lovely market town Positive: The cottage is in a perfect location in Stokesley. We parked right outside the front door and it was available throughout the duration of our stay and was also free of charge. The cottage is beautiful, clean, comfortable and well equipped. This made for a lovely, relaxing stay. Stokesley itself is a very nice market town with plenty to do and also a nice base for exploring the area and the coast. We intend to return to this property. We had a lovely stay at Gingerbread Cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We did experience an issue with the heating during our visit and the owner stepped in quickly and sorted it out directly in no time. Overall, a charming cottage and a really enjoyable stay.

Ideal location in the heart of town with shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Parking was never an issue. The property is exactly as pictured—clean, new, and well-maintained. Would definitely stay again!

As the purpose of our visit was to see what Stokesley would be like as a retirement option. However, because of the fair Positive: The Negative: The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms felt very claustrophobic and the internal doors were exceptionally heavy and needed to be chocked open. .

Cottage was exactly as shown in the images and it was immaculate! Host and Stay were great at communicating throughout our stay. The cottage was in a perfect location with walking distance to plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants. The only tiny issue was that it advertises a games console in the games room yet there was no games console to be seen and only a couple of kids board games. This had no impact on our stay at all but don’t advertise something that isn’t there. There were little things missing like no salt and pepper, or kitchen roll and little things like that. Just minor things but stopped it from being perfect.

Will certainly stay there again if I visit the area. Positive: Walked through the door and WOW !!! Excellent. Nice surprise, bottle of wine in fridge, plus biscuits, tea and coffee. Negative: Only one tea towel and no kitchen hand towel.

Gorgeous property in a fabulous position, just a few steps from the local amenities in this pretty, friendly little town / village. The property was spotless with high quality bed linens, towels and was furnished beautifully! Loads of space inside (the pictures do not do it justice) and a private, comfortable outdoor seating area for if you want to have a chilled night in. Ideally situated for accessing this beautiful corner of North Yorkshire - would most certainly return!

Excellent cottage. Immaculate inside and very well decorated. Very spacious event though it looks small from the outside. Lovely location overlooking the village green. Very short walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Stokesley is a lovely town.

The house was superb, really nicely decorated, very clean and excellent facilities. We enjoyed our stay very much. Only recommendations would be hair dryer, long mirror and shelf in en suite bathroom
