The house was incredible with beautiful views and very peaceful. The open plan living room and kitchen was great for a big group like ours, especially when it overlooked a great landscape. We did experience a leak whilst staying here, but this was resolved and dealt with very fast by the owner, who was lovely to meet. Would definitely stay here again :)
Beautiful house, perfect location. House is well presented and clean with a nice view from the elevated decking in the garden. Well equiped kitchen, had everything we needed. Safe property for a stay with children. Only problem we had was check in, no details were sent over so we're unable to gain access to the property until an hour after check in time. We enjoyed our stay thankyou to the hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay and the space worked well for our family trip. Lots of space to let us feel all together without being on top of each other, the kids loved it. In fact I think the space is even bigger than it looks on the pictures! Would recommend the house for a family trip, good location for visiting local attractions like Beamish, Diggerland etc.
Lovely lux property with an amazing kitchen and stunning views. All bedrooms have a show-house quality to them.
We absolutely loved our stay at FLV. The house is beautiful, really stylish and comfortable, and the location in Burnhope is just stunning. The rear views are breathtaking and we kept stopping whatever we were doing just to look out at them. We were the first guests and everything was perfect. They had thought of every little detail so we didn’t need to bring a single thing extra. It all felt so well looked after and ready for us. The location was brilliant for getting out and about too. Beamish Museum is only about 14 minutes from the house and we had a brilliant day there. We also went into Durham and visited the cathedral, which is amazing, then had a lovely walk along the river through the city centre. The owner was fantastic. He couldn’t have been more helpful and went way above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. Really friendly guy and clearly cares a lot about the place.
