“The house was incredible with beautiful views and very peaceful. The open plan living room and kitchen was great for a big group like ours, especially when it overlooked a great landscape. We did experience a leak whilst staying here, but this was resolved and dealt with very fast by the owner, who was lovely to meet. Would definitely stay here again :)”

“We absolutely loved our stay at FLV. The house is beautiful, really stylish and comfortable, and the location in Burnhope is just stunning. The rear views are breathtaking and we kept stopping whatever we were doing just to look out at them. We were the first guests and everything was perfect. They had thought of every little detail so we didn’t need to bring a single thing extra. It all felt so well looked after and ready for us. The location was brilliant for getting out and about too. Beamish Museum is only about 14 minutes from the house and we had a brilliant day there. We also went into Durham and visited the cathedral, which is amazing, then had a lovely walk along the river through the city centre. The owner was fantastic. He couldn’t have been more helpful and went way above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. Really friendly guy and clearly cares a lot about the place. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful with incredible views and easy”
