“We loved our stay at the flamingo lodge as a last minute booking when another host cancelled. The lodge was spotless and was exactly as the pictures showed. The big let down was that 4 days prior to our stay Host & Stay messaged us asking us to pay a £40 non refundable or £250 refundable damage waiver, yet this was never mentioned in the listing or when originally booked. We thought this was poor to send this so close to our stay as they knew we had passed our cancellation period and they had clearly not stated this as required in the original listing. I queried it with their own T&Cs and they admitted we did not need to pay for this. The only other let downs were the lack of soap in the soap dispensers in the bathroom, no antibacterial spray for the kitchen yet guests are asked to clean/tidy up, and a few more bin bags and tea towels would have been a huge help. The lodge could benefit from having a table & chairs for the patio, other than that we had a lovely stay and would return.”

“We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. The location itself is beautiful, especially with the lake view, and the caravan is lively. It's very modern, and well presented. The hot tub was great, especially after a day of physical activity at the Aquapark. It was lovely to come back and relax in it. The host was more than helpful throughout our stay and communication was excellent. The only thing we would say, which other guests have also mentioned, is that the outdoor furniture could do with some improvement. With the lovely weather we had it would have been nice to sit out on the patio for dinner, but unfortunately there was no outdoor table, and one of the chairs was ripped so wasn’t really usable. Other than that, everything was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely book here again and would highly recommend it.”
