We spent one night here for my daughters 13th. Outstanding place with stunning views, would highly recommend. Positive: Size. Hot tub. Views. Location. Facilities. Negative: Check out time far too early, we didn’t check in until 4pm and check out was 10am. The price we paid for one night was quite expensive, for that reason I think they should be some extension on check out, even if it’s 11am. The girls had to be literally carried out asleep 🤣.

Fabulous host, very friendly and knowledgeable. Best weekend we have had as a family and the only place we preferred to eat in rather than go out.

We stayed at finch house for 3 nights with the family, the property is a credit to the owners who have put so much thought into every aspect of the property, on arrival we were greeted by a complimentary basket with some treats in it which was gratefully received by my children. Nothing has been left to chance with this property the attention to details shows in every room and the hob tub is a great addition (we were also provided with robes, slippers and towels for the hot tub) which was a great touch The host was very responsive and I would definitely return to this property again

Excellent stay at Finch House. A lovely welcome from Steve who showed my daughters the local horses. Steve was extremely friendly and receptive throughout. The location was beautiful, the hot tub was great, the house was immaculate and Stokesley was a 15 min walk away with some lovely shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend 👏👌

Beautifuly presented 3 bedroom property with two ensuite bedrooms. Comfortable stay with a great kitchen. outside space was fabulous with BBQ, hot tub and plenty of comfortable outdoor furniture. Outdoor sitting area offers fantastic countryside views with horses in adjacent feilds. The moon could be watched to rise over the local hill line in uninterrupted view. Although the facilities list doesn't mention it there is a high chair on the property. Could do with some fans in the bedrooms for hot weather but lots of beautiful sash windows provided adequate cooling. Great place with lovely hosts.

We loved our stay at Finch house as a family of 6 + 2 dogs. The house itself was spotless, had everything needed and more. Very comfortable throughout, pillows and duvets 10/10!! Outdoor area secure for the dogs to run around with a lovely hot tub space, bbq area and seating area. Lovely friendly horses came to say hello at the fence too. Highly recommend & will definitely be back. Thanks for having us.

What a beautiful place, extremely well kept, it was like we were the first people to stay. Amenities were spot on. Location is ideal if you love being outdoors, full place flowed lovely, bifold doors connected inside to out. Owner came and introduced himself, he was very friendly and said if we needed anything he was next door and on hand anytime which was good of him. Welcome basket was a lovely touch and bottle of fizz was unexpected, put a smile on the Mrs face. Beds were (little too) comfy, didn't want to get out of them! Every room is finished to the highest quality. Communication pre-stay was brilliant, responded quickly with anything we asked and the offer of places to recommended was a nice touch too, if we weren't from round the area that would have been very handy. Will definitely be back to stay again, we all loved it, my son can't wait to go back to the 'fancy house'.

This property was more than amazing, but it was overkill for our stay. We arrived at 4.00pm and left at 7.45am the next day, and used the kettle, bed, Showers and the extremely nice welcome pack! Steve came to welcome us and ask if we needed anything?.... a taxi? he was more than happy to take us, a real gent! If you are looking for a luxury stay, gorgeous accommodation, beautiful outdoor space, look no further you will not be disappointed.

This review is entirely about Finch House and the owners Stephen and Dolly - it is not about Host & Stay who are the agent and with whom our interactions before the visit were disappointing. The owners of Finch House(Stephen and Dolly)are wonderful hosts who are very friendly and informative and they went out of their way to make us feel to home and to advise us of places of interest locally, good restaurants, etc so that we got the most out of our stay. The house is stylish, luxurious, spacious and superbly equipped and the garden is immaculately maintained with a hot tub, two BBQ’s and a relaxing and dining area affording fantastic views of open countryside. The hosts have put so much thought into the extras that helped make it such a special stay - from the welcome hamper on arrival to providing robes, slippers and towels for outside use. We cannot recommend Finch House or the hosts highly enough - it is a very special place!

Had the most amazing stay for our mini moon after our wedding. This home is next level, the detail and finish of this place is unreal and is such a high standard. The views are to die for, especially with the great touch of the hot tub. The dogs absolutely loved the secure garden to run around. There was a welcome hamper which was a welcoming touch. We will definitely return and would recommend to anyone. Beautiful and extremely clean and fully equipped. Most importantly the host is extremely friendly and the guide provided for the stay with local recommendations is brilliant. Thank you again for a great stay!

The house is absolutely perfect from top to bottom, with high end furniture and accessories throughout and every finishing touch you would desire. The host was so welcoming and made us feel at home. Beautiful house, superb kitchen, comfortable beds and great showers. It was the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had and we had everything we needed. My sisters and I loved our stay, would definitely recommend.

Me and five friends stayed at this beautiful house for our annual Christmas get together, and it exceeded all expectations. The house is absolutely stunning even better than the photos and every little detail has clearly been thought of. From the generous welcome hamper with a lovely bottle of Prosecco, to robes and slippers provided for each guest, it truly felt luxurious and welcoming. This was without a doubt the cleanest property I’ve ever stayed in through Airbnb. The surroundings are spectacular and incredibly picturesque, making it the perfect setting for a relaxing break. The host was welcoming, attentive, and available if we needed anything, while still giving us complete privacy. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We had a fantastic stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property. Thank you x

A group of 6 mature ladies and our first impression was WOW! A beautifully presented property - it was very easy to feel at home and relax into. The kitchen is really well equipped, quality bed linen and towels too. A thoughtful addition are the towels and slippers for the hot tub! Great to have access to smart speaker ‘Alexa’ too for a bit of music! We only stayed for one night so we are unable to comment on the local area but from chatting to Stephen (the owner), he would be happy to advise. A lovely touch was the welcome hamper. A short visit but very enjoyable. Thank you

This property is absolutely stunning! So well kept inside and out. The hosts are next door so we’re there for any issues we had. Nice welcome hamper with snacks which was a lovely touch. Recently visited this lodge for my 30th birthday celebrations and it did not disappoint, absolutely stunning and came with everything you could possibly need. Had an amazing stay for my Dad's 50th Birthday, the place is beautiful and has every single thing you would need. Had a lovely welcome box with snack and prosecco waiting for us on arrival which is a very nice touch. Only negative is no movement on earlier check in / later check out.

I stayed here for my birthday and it was absolutely perfect! The place was super clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and fun stay. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, which made the whole experience even better. I especially appreciated the little touches that made it feel extra special—like the cozy atmosphere and thoughtful amenities. It was the perfect spot to celebrate. I would 100% recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing and quiet getaway. One of the highlights of the stay was definitely the stunning views and the amazing hot tub. The hot tub was clean, warm, and the most perfect place to relax and unwind and it truly added something special to the experience. Another thoughtful touch was the lovely hamper the host left for us-it was such a kind surprise and really made us feel welcome. The fluffy robes provided were also loved; they were so soft and comfortable. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely stay. House was just as described. Hot tub was easy to use and had great views of the surroundings. Seeing the horses in the field next door was lovely too. Garden was massive and the dog loved it! A few pubs/ restaurants / shops were about a 20 minute walk away from the house. We had some issues with the water pressure but were reassured by the host that this was due to be fixed the day after we left. The host lives next door and provides their telephone number at the house for any issues and were very helpful and quick to reply. Messages on Airbnb go seem to go to a company to answer and they were not as helpful.

Such a lovely girlie getaway! Felt right at home at Finch House and a great relaxing vibe. We can’t wait to book again… but for longer!

Stunning stay at Finch House. A much-needed girlie weekend made idyllic by the luxurious surroundings, peaceful views, and champagne in the hot tub! After a lazy morning, we went to Saltburn for the day (35min drive). Swimming in the sea and using the sauna for a few rounds of contrast therapy. Lunch at KOZE and a mooch around the shops, then home for cold bubbles in the hot bubbles! Super comfy beds. A kitchen/dining area that gave us a dinner party feel every night. We loved it. We'll be back!

We stayed one night at Finch House at Stokesley, absolutely beautiful place, 6 of us for my sister coming over from New Zealand, what a gorgeous place, all done to a very high standard, Hot tub with a view😍 just perfect. One of the best Air b and bs iv stayed in. Stephen was great who owns it very helpful.

Great place to bring in the new year with friends! All rooms were spotless, warm and cosy, also the hot tub was hot all weekend and in amazing condition. Would highly recommend Finch House to everyone!

Loved our stay, great house, clean and everything we needed, with nice extras, welcome hamper, bathrobes, towels and slippers for use outside. Great entertainment area outside and in large kitchen diner. Would have liked more flexibility with check in, 4pm for property was OK but it would have been helpful if we could have left the car earlier, had to change our plans for a walk and pub lunch on first day. Took off one star because we had 2 occasions when we lost water pressure in the showers yet there were only 2 of us staying and this had been reported on previous occasions so expected it to have been resolved.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Could not recommend enough! Gorgeous surroundings, short walk into Stokesley village which is fabulous and half an hour car ride to the coast. We will 100% be back, thank you so much!

Amazing property, beautiful decor and beds so comfortable, so well equipped, the hosts have thought of everything. You can easily walk into the town for shops and restaurants (takes around 10/15min). Surrounding countryside is so beautiful and the hot tub allows you to take it all in whilst relaxing with a glass of fizz. We were blessed with gorgeous weather so felt like we were abroad, thank you for a wonderful stay, it made our get together so memorable,

We booked for a family get together. It was perfect, the hosts had thought of everything. Lovely location with plenty to do all within easy access. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay, very peaceful. Lovely garden and amenities. Kitchen is very spacious too. The TV’s aren’t always the best as some of them are not smart TV’s and have limited app connection, so just something to bare in mind if you have kids/want to use the TV. Overall, stunning place and the host is beyond lovely too! Nothing too much!

Immaculately presented accommodation. We had a wonderful stay. Only criticism was a slight lack of privacy due to the location.

Myself and my two teenage boys have just returned from a wonderful four-night stay at Finch House, and we will definitely be back! The house is incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. We especially loved the stunning garden, the hot tub, and the breathtaking views. Our dog had an amazing time too! There are plenty of beautiful walks nearby, and we found a lovely dog-friendly pub just a five-minute drive away, which was perfect after a day of exploring. The hosts were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. Watching the beautiful horses each day was an added bonus and made our stay even more special. We highly recommend Finch House and can't wait to return!

Beautiful home which was decorated to a high standard. Very clean and smelt amazing! Breathtaking views of hills and surrounded by horses on the farm which is my dream! Local amenities close by with a good local pub which is dog friendly. Owners of the property are super friendly and welcoming and responsive for advice. Definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday to explore Yorkshire. Hopefully we will be back! :)

Finch House is extremely well fitted out, large kitchen has everything that you need, great dining room too. The lounge is large and very comfortable, and the bedrooms are fantastic. Large fully enclosed garden was great for our little cocker spaniel, good barbecue area, lovely seating area and the hot tub made a really great addition! Stokesley is easily accessible by car or on foot, really nice little town with lots of good shops and restaurants. Towns like Whitby and Helmsley are not too far away. All in all we had a terrific time here, and will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay here. It was the perfect place to escape the end-of-June heatwave, and the rural location made it feel peaceful and much cooler than the city. The house has plenty of large windows, making it a lovely place to stay during the summer, with beautiful views of the countryside. The property was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The host was friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we would happily recommend this property.

Beautiful place, lovely hosts, lots of kitchen equipment everything had been thought of, soft fluffy towels and very well thought out facilities. Drove to Saltburn for the day, had a bbq and spent lots of time in the hot tub relaxing with drinks.

The place was immaculate and the owners went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything that we needed, even driving us to Yarm when our taxi cancelled last minute (thank you again!!). We can't fault anything - Finch House and its surroundings are absolutely beautiful and we had the best weekend celebrating with friends. Thank you ever so much. We will be back!

A perfect stay in a beautiful property. I always say you get what you pay for, so while it seemed expensive when I booked it, it was so worth the money. Everything was spot on, the furnishings were sumptuous, furniture and beds were top quality, bedrooms and bathrooms were luxurious. Host was great and left a lovely welcome hamper with wine, chocolate etc. All in all, I couldn't fault Finch House

We loved staying in this beautiful home with wonderful views of the hills. We had everything we needed for our stay as a family of 4. Stokesley is filled with great options for dining out but we had everything we needed to cook a proper meal too. Highly recommend.

Amazing house!! Beds are sooo comfy! Hot tub is amazing! Kitchen outstanding!! Decor looks great! Bliss! Would have much rather dealt with the owner than the company that is letting it out, would never go through this app again for this property I would go direct! 4pm is too late to check in, the company were not the best to deal with, the only cared about us booking more nights, I was told I could check in from 3pm and nobody told the owner, which lead to a very awkward interaction, will go direct from now on, such a shame because I have no negatives for the property!

Absolutely beautiful home- even better than we imagined. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so thoughtful and welcoming. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket on arrival, which was such a special touch, and we even got the chance to speak to the host in person, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. The house itself was spotless, spacious, and finished to such a high standard. It truly felt like a home away from home. They had absolutely everything we could’ve needed during our stay; fresh towels, cosy gowns, cleaning supplies, tea and coffee, and plenty of glasses, mugs, plates and more. Every little detail had been considered. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Would 100% recommend and would absolutely stay again.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable 2 night stay and were very happy with the accommodation. Everywhere was spotless, the little welcome pack was very nice and the towels/ slippers were a pleasant extra for the hot tub. Would highly recommend.

The hosts really went above and beyond for us, we will definitely be staying there in the future! The views from the hot tub were stunning, and it was a manageable walk into Stokesley for some drinks. Very quick responses from the hosts, I was very impressed throughout. Second stay here and again just as beautiful. Immaculate home with everything you could need. The only negative would be check in at 16:00 seems extremely late, giving the fact check out is 10:00 and the cost for the night. Would recommend and would stay again x

It was a beautiful place with a modern look. All amenities worked well and the surroundings were beautiful. The hosts were very responsive and were nearby to answer any questions. Wow. We had an excellent stay at Finch House. We arrived to a spotlessly clean home, feeling like we were the first people to stay there! The House was beautifully decorated, and lots of little touches eg hot tub towels, slippers, plenty of shower gel etc. that made the stay very easy. Plenty of cutlery, plastic glasses for use outside etc. The garden and setting was beautiful and as well maintained as the inside. We had a fabulous time and would love to come back!
