Exceptional stay Positive: Amazing, so lovely

Positive: It was a lovely lodge & very clean park. Thank you. Negative: Just a few more lights as it was hard to find the lodge on our first night. The gate lock was difficult to open.

Had a lovely weekend, nice area, Pocklington a lovely market town about 30 mins walk, York easily accessible by bus or p Positive: Very nice modern decor on a very nice park. Lovely hot tub and spacious balcony. Negative: This property is let down by its cleanliness. Glasses, cutlery, cooking utensils not cleaned. Bathrooms, particularly toilet and shower, not cleaned properly. Cleanliness is the basics to expect particularly with a 5 star property.

Positive: Everything. Lovely location, excellent accommodation, centre of York half an hour away. Negative: Could not find any faults.

Positive: Location was great Negative: No sofa bed which was stated on booking! No follow up after asking about this! No Internet. Nail found in hot tub. Glass with lipstick on and dirty cutlery n crockery. Felt like place hadn't been cleaned to a good standard. Apart from that the area and restraunt were great.

Stay at fiend View lodge 24-27 July 2026 Positive: The location The lodge How helpful the staff in the main office were. They were not the host and stay staff though Negative: Lodge was somewhat clean, but not my standard clean. Bathroom cabinet and back of sink has previous customers marks from their toothbrushes, glass in showers not 100% clean. Splashback for gas hob not clean, grill pan still had not been cleaned from previous customers, so burnt on fat still very much evident Someone in another lodge close by using Bluetooth so their music suddenly blasted through the speakers in our lodge. Had to turn off at the mains. Gave us a fright for sure. Dishwasher didnt seem to clean the dishes on the top shelf properly
