Another enjoyable stay Positive: Lovely spacious apartment, excellent location, very good transport on the doorstep. This is my second visit here and I looked⁷ forward to the extremely comfortable bed. It is always spotlessly clean. Negative: I, personally, do not like overhead lighting on when watching TV, so a table lamp on the unit to the left of the TV would be much nicer. The sofa has covers on it, which are very annoying, as everytime you get up they need smoothing out and sometimes fall off the back. The upholstery underneath is lovely (as in the picture on your website) and would make the room look more inviting. The miss matched occasional furniture, of which there are 3 different styles, also let the room down, as do the plastic tablecloths. I accept that families stay here and this is probably the reason for the above choices but my views are from an older person's perspective. Having said all this, I will stay here again, as it is in an ideal position for visiting my family and friends who live locally.

A home from home in Margate Positive: The flat was clean and exceptionally well catered for . We had everything we needed in a home away from home, including thoughtful touches like toys for the kids. Black out curtains in bedroom too! Well connected via bus into margate, ramsgste and broadstairs. 9 mins to margate. Negative: Duvets were really, really heavy and thick. Main bedroom mattress maybe getting old- seems lumpy, and to slant in different directions. Road noise was noticable but didnt disturb our sleep.

Very pleasant holida. Close to family that live in Margate. Positive: Clean and comfortable. Well equipped for a family. Negative: On a main road. Couldn’t open windows as so noisy.

Great spot! a walk away from the beach. there's a fish and chip takeaway 2 min walk away and a shop to purchase snacks or drinks. we had an issue with the toilet not flushing but it was fixed straight away! the apartment was very clean and cosy. I have a 2 year old and this house was very child friendly with a high chair and some toys which was a bonus. It is directly on the road so it's not the quietest apartment but during the night it was quiet when sleeping. I would book again here.

The flat was really nice - had lots of things we needed esp. for the children. There was a high chair, a travel cot, children's cutley etc. Even though the location is on a main road and you can hear the traffic, you don't really notice it. The area is really nice and short walk from palm bay and the waterfront. We'd go back but I would say that the beds weren't our favourite. That may just have been us but they felt spongey and bottomed out when sitting (not lying) on them. The heating also did take a while to get the flat warm but within 24 hours, it was up to temperture and then maintained itself quite well. It definately works though - unlike one review saying it doesn't!

Negative: Central heating was not working properly it was cold property inside . Try to increase temperature from remote but it stay on 18 Celsius all three days . I was with the kids and both the kids were feeling cold during stay try to contact host but they said you need to send pictures through email them we can send someone definitely they don’t want to help me . Not a good experience

Overall this was a relaxing getaway for me and the family. It's about 6-7mins away from the main beach in Margate so guaranteed some peace and quiet, and accessibility to a great beach if you want a change of mood. The communication with the landlord was great and she made it so my family and I would be as comfortable as possible during our stay. The only downside was that - and not a reflection on the property - I would constantly lose my phone reception whilst in the property. If you're with EE, like I am, the only place to get a manageable reception was from the balcony. Property itself is new and still has that 'new smell.' Very clean, excellent for the kids with kids games and books available in the property, and spacious enough for a family of 4-5. If you cook your own food, you'll have access to all the kitchen facilities/utensils you need to do that comfortably.

Pech gehabt! Das Appartement ist sehr schön und sehr praktikabel für den klassischen Touristen. Für Handicap Personen völlig ungeeignet, da die Betten (Boxspringbetten) zu hoch sind. Wir mussten nach 2 Tagen abreisen. Kostenerstattung aus Kulanz 0,00 Euro. Der Gastgeber ist deshalb aus meiner Sicht nicht zu empfehlen. Wir haben 14 Tage gebucht!

Comfortable, extremely accessible, good for small families, noisy. Positive: The property was clean, there was always available parking, it was close to almost EVERYTHING. We were able to get all of our luggage out of the car and into the property discreetly and easily via the secluded back entrance. There is a Tesco less than 2 minutes down the road if you drive and max a SLOW 10 minute walk. If you go straight down one road you hit the beach. Negative: Being by the roadside of a road where people drive like they are on a race track is something that should be mentioned as the noise was bad even with the windows and back doors closed. As it was hot it was uncomfortable to have to sit with the windows and door closed. We thought there was an air circulation system but it seemed to only be heating. No other issue apart from the noise.

An excellent place to stay. Positive: The accommodation is spacious, spotless and very well furnished and equipped There is a comprehensive set of instructions on how to use the appliances, heating etc. Negative: It's on a busy road but it doesn't put me off coming back.

Me, and my friends enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay again. Its 25 - 30 minutes walking to Margate. 10minuted walking to the coast / Palm Bay Beach. The host was also understanding which was much appreciated.

It's a brand new flat (as of 2023); however, it has problems. Shower/tub drain is very slow, didn't enjoy standing in water. The flat has no air circulation, a total of two windows and one sliding door, provides no air flow. Other reviews complained of cold, we had the opposite issue, too hot. Flat was 73 F (22.5 C) the entire time we were there, regardless of the outside temperature (thermostat was set to 16 C). Management company (Host & Stay) are not so great, they are quick to respond to questions, but don't provide answers, just cut and paste responses direct from the listing, very frustrating. We wanted to know what size crib was provided to bring correct sheets, took three weeks and contact after contact after contact to finally get an answer that it was a Graco Pack'N'Play. Quick to collect an additional deposit to 'protect the owner,' but have no actual details on the rental. Bring your own bog roll, gave two tiny rolls for four people staying for a week.

Very comfortable stay in spotless flat. Positive: The flat was clean and very comfortable. Negative: The flat was on a main road outside a bus stop. I live in the countryside and heard the buses.

Lovely place, great location! Positive: Property was a comfortable size and suitable for the 3 of us. It was in a nice location and we enjoyed the 25 min walk into town through the shops! Negative: We found the beds a little uncomfortable, but that is such a subjective element anyway.

The owner rectified the fridge freezer immediately. Very well equipped for all your needs. All very cleanVery close to the beach and the shops

Lovely spacious apartment in great location. Positive: This apartment is very spacious and in a great location. This is the 3rd time I have stayed here as I find it convenient for shops, local transport and the sea. Negative: The lounge furniture is not very comfortable. The covers on the sofas are a pain because everytime you get up you have to straighten them. A footstool would be nice. The wifi for the TV keeps dropping out, which is irritating.

Great place that suited our needs for the weekend, will book again. Positive: Parking was easy, getting into town was simple, it is a short walk from the nearest beach. Ground floor access close to the car parking.

Positive: The flat was great, the instructions for the lock box for the key was great. Good communication Clean and tidy. Well equipped. Negative: Very small complaints - no cleaning products eg floor cleaner, bleach for the toilet etc, although there was washing up liquid and a dishwasher tablet. As it faced on to a main road there was a lot of traffic throughout the night - but that is not your fault!

Avoid This Place - Unprofessional and Unhygienic Positive: The location was alright. The staff on the phone are nice. Negative: I was very disappointed with my stay. The kitchen was not cleaned properly, which is a basic expectation. The staff who arrived in the morning were extremely rude and lacked any professionalism - some of the worst I’ve encountered. On top of that, the landlord (or the person that claims to be the landlord) was dishonest, which made the overall experience feel even more unpleasant. I would never return to a place where cleanliness is ignored and guests are treated with such disrespect, poorly and dismissed.

Found a little gem Positive: This flat is lovely, perfect location, and perfect size. It had everything I needed and I will be booking to stay here again. Negative: It does need a coat of paint but did that ruin my stay, no. I would say that they need to look into better cleaners. It wasn't dirty as such, but it was 100% clean, crumbs in the cupboards, bath room floor not clean and just looked like it had been whizzed over rather than cleaned but don't let that put you off.

Modern spacious apartment in excellent location Positive: Great location, very spacious apartment. Exceptional bed...which is very important! Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Comprehensive information pack. Negative: I was not able to connect with the WiFi. I put in the password but it was not accepted. However, it wasn't too much of a problem. I also, did not find either sofa very comfortable and the occasional furniture (coffee table, side table and tv table) have seen better days and let down the rest of the property which is well furnished.

Will work for some. Easy to find. Great location, but a lot of traffic noise. Property needs cosmetic refurbishment in places, showing signs of heavy use. Bus stop outside can be noisy, but little noise from other flats.

Lovely place for a short stay. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and functional. We loved the total silence at night, very peaceful area.

It was ok once the problem with check in were solved, but a bad experience with the forced insurance Positive: Nice apartment with enough space and a parking spot for the car. Negative: Little things missing like a big mirror in the bathroom (there is only a small mirror for make-up). Complicated check in with too many messages and a forced insurance (25 Pound to cover max 500 Pound damage or 250 Pound deposit plus 10 Pound fee without any cover). This is a no no.

william farrier appartment Really lovely appartment. Had every thing you needed. Very assessible.

The apartment was fine for a short stay and kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. It was next to a loud street which we did not expect and not ver private since it was on the ground floor with the windows facing the busy street. All in all it was decent and clean.

Lovely flat and well looked after. Positive: Clean and modern. Negative: On a busy road with heavy traffic which was noisy at times.

Nice stay Really nice stay, had everything we needed and was comfortable. Everything we needed was there and such a good location. Exactly as pictures showed! Only issue was in the twin room the curtains had a really strong smell of damp it was slightly overwhelming. That however is our only issue and didn't affect our stay until bedtime.

We felt fined for someone else's previous/potential poor behaviour before we even got there.

This was a great find for us, with great sandy beaches being down the road and a 'Loop' bus route which takes you straight into Margate centre (although it is also walkable either by road or beach front). The apartment was clean and spacious with everything you would need for any length of stay (the off street parking gave extra peace of mind). We would certainly stay again and recommend for others.

Margate trip Positive: It was a really nice layout, and everything Would definitely stay again Negative: Couldn't find the secret draw for the cutlery until the very last day it should be labelled just to give people a heads up.

Enjoyable stay at this clean apartment. Very well equipped. As others have said, the road was noisy but didn’t really notice it at night. It’s a 35 minute walk to the main area of Margate, but a bus stops right outside the building. Parking on site. Would recommend.

Great stay! Positive: Great flat in a modern building. Very clean, spacious, nicely furnished, with comfy beds. 5 min. car ride to the beach and city centre, bus stop in front of the building. We were worried a little about a noisy street that some people wrote about, but it wasn't a problem. Just normal small city traffic. Negative: We had some problems with finding a code to the key box as it was hidden in one of trylion messages we've received from host&stay before our arrival... But it was a minor inconvenience that didn't spoil the stay. For us 10/10!

We enjoyed our stay. The location was fantastic - we explored different beaches and explored the area. The house had everything we need and more. Lots of toys to keep kids entertained. The house was clean — which is very important to me. I would recommend the place.
