Upon arrival the lodge looked lovely and modern it was only once we go in we realised how badly it was kept. The housekeeping had not done any cleaning at all so I immediately took photos as I’d paid a £250 deposit I wanted evidence that this wasn’t me. Cutlery draw was full of dirt and forks had dried food on, glasses were unwashed and cups in the cupboard hand tea stains still in them, I won’t mention the pans. Hot tub was barely above half full, the sofa had stains on, the bedding had stains on, and I didn’t even bother to use the pull out bed from sofa as it was filthy. I could go on but basically it was very dirty. Upon contact I was responded to quickly, I spoke face to face with someone morning after who was lovely but after I emailed in my complaint as advised by the lady I spoke to my response felt very cold, I was offered £64 refund. (£460 2 nights) the park itself was lovely & fab location but I will not rebook sadly.

Lovely lodge and grounds

Great lodge on a fabulous park that is very peaceful and really well looked after. Host and Stay were great, super responsive answering all my questions really quickly and quick check in process. The lodge looked like the photos, it was spacious with a very modern and very clean kitchen. Hot tub was also great, very warm, very clean and spacious. The only slightly negative is the sofa could do with the covers being cleaned and the outdoor tables have seen better days.

Disappointed with the lodge Positive: Nice and warm on arrival Negative: Both TVs and the fire didn’t work. It was not clean, had a bin on the balcony full of beer cans and the toilet wasn’t clean
