Fabulous property. Positive: Beautiful apartment everything was lovely luxurious quality. Negative: We couldn't use balcony at was covered with bird droppings.

Lovely place to stay in Whitby! Clean, modern and easy to get to with parking! 30 seconds walk to the beach and pub! Good value for money! Highly recommend.

Positive: the property was clean, comfortable and the location was great. an easy walk to bars and restaurants in the town and neighbourhood whilst being in a quiet location a short distance from the centre of Whitby. Negative: There was nothing about the property we didn’t like, it was perfect for 2 couples, it had everything we needed. The only down side was the Host and Stay company, the booking process was tortuous and intimidating to say the least! Over 20 emails, even after they assured me they had turned off the generation of auto emails. This is something the company needs to look at. The staff I had occasion to speak with because of the confusion the volume of contradictory emails caused were very helpful and polite. I would be somewhat reluctant to book through this host company again.

One of the best places we’ve stayed we would book again if we return to Whitby. Positive: Beautiful apartment , had everything we needed. Negative: Great location , parking great facilities and spotless.

Positive: Beautiful modern apartment with loads of space and a full kitchen. Very clean and well appointed. The location is excellent, being just a little out of the centre of Whitby, which can be very busy. Good carparking. Negative: Nothing at all.

Our stay was very enjoyable, our accommodation and host were exceptional. Positive: All of it Negative: We really enjoyed our short stay in Even Keel, the only slight draw back was the loss of internet and WiFi connect for the duration of our stay.

Great apartment Positive: The apartment was clean, tidy and very well equipped. Dedicated parking is also a bonus. Near to the beach and a nice walk into town. Two full bathrooms was great as we travelled with a friend for part of the stay. Negative: It was hard to turn the shower temp down - not normally something you complain about, that the shower was too hot.

OK property, dreadful management services Positive: Property is nicely furnished on the whole. Good location close to town centre Negative: This was really not a great experience. The property was OK but it wasn't completely cleaned on arrival - there was a little present left in one of the toilets and the little shampoo things had been opened and already used. There was also a confused panic the day after with multiple calls and texts when they tried to say we hadn't put the keys back in the lock box (we had and it just turned out to be housekeeping and the office staff not on the same page). However my friend accidentally left his laptop behind and this was certainly not treated with any priority at all. In fact he was fobbed off with AI generated emails from multiple different staff members and, only when we threatened to report it as stolen to the police, did they finally send it back 10 days later! It's a shame because the property has potential but, in my experience of travelling to 80+ countries and staying in 1000+ places, the management is one of the worst. Avoid!

Positive: The apartment was eccellent, everything you needed was there, very good standard. Negative: Key wouldn't work very well in the front entrance door,not sure why, worked ok in apartment door, one cup was chipped so we took a pic, you add a cleaning charge which is included in the price but there were odd parts which could have been cleaned properly.

Beautiful, comfy with absolutely everything you’d need! Positive: Everything at this accommodation was perfect. Beyond clean, everything you needed for a self catering stay in Whitby. Right on the sea front, and parking available which is a bonus. The apartment itself was super clean, and beautifully presented. Spacious, two bathrooms and the beds were very comfy. There’s no other place I’d consider staying when visiting Whitby in the future. Negative: Absolutely nothing, everything was perfect.

Positive: Gorgeous apartment, we stayed for 4 nights. The apartment was so clean, with comfy beds, very quiet & peaceful for a good nights sleep, very modern & so well equipped with everything & more you could ever ask for. 2 Bathrooms were a bonus. With free parking at the back, that was helpful, & so close to the beach & only a 10 minute walk for us to the harbour & local restaurants & shops etc. We really enjoyed our stay here & will hopefully return again soon. I highly recommend this place if you're ever staying in Whitby. Negative: Nothing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Even Keel. The apartment was well-equipped and spotlessly clean. We could walk to and from the centre of Whitby and it was easy to drive elsewhere from this location. The seating and beds were really comfortable and the TV had numerous viewing options. There were plenty of ports for charging devices. We could see the sea from the balcony.

Perfect Positive: Even Keel was immaculate, the cleanliness, amenities, beautifully decorated throughout and so comfortable. Attention to detail was superb throughout the whole apartment, such as charging clock/light etc in bedrooms just in case you forget your charger, everything you would need kitchen wise to stay in and cook. All guests in our party were so impressed and we will definitely be booking again! Thank you we couldn’t fault a single thing! Negative: N/A

The apartment was exceptional!! Very well appointed, clean and comfortable. Positive: We were pleasantly surprised at the high standard of this property. We travel a lot and have stayed in numerous locations & levels of accommodation, & this apartment was excellent. The hosts had thought of everything a traveller could need including ear plugs & a shoe horn!! I could not fault anything and would definitely stay there again if a trip to Whitby is on the agenda. Parking was at the back of the property and came with apartment. It was within easy walking distance to Whitby centre and beach. Bed was comfortable and the location of the apartment was quiet. Negative: I cannot fault anything!!

Whitby holiday Positive: The property was spotlessly clean. And the location was accessible to whitby Town centre. Which me and my friend wanted. So we didn't have to use the car. Negative: I would have liked a ground floor appartment. But it was good that we had a lift to get to our appartment on the second floor. What's not to like every thing was great and accessible.

The apartment was just as described, in a quiet but walkable location with a designated car park space behind the apartments. Very clean and modern with everything you need, great to have 2 bathrooms, one was en suite. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and we slept great. When we arrived the beds were made up of 2 king size and we needed one of those to be 2 singles quick call and it was sorted quickly and efficiently. On booking I would tell them what bed configuration is needed. A lot of bumping from the apartment above from children but stopped at a reasonable time of night. I would definitely book to stay here again if we decide to visit Whitby again.

Fabulous apartment in a great location Positive: The apartment was beautifully presented, with all the amenities you could wish for. All the equipment and furnishings were top quality and in great condition. The rooms were spotless and everything was set up for us to have a great stay. The apartment is in a great location close to the top of the west bay and has the benefit of its own parking which is great for Whitby. Negative: Nothing. It was a great accommodation and I will book again.

A great 3 night stay at Dale's place. Check in was easy, the flat was lovely and ideal location. Would highly recommend. Having the designated parking space was really handy.

Our stay at Even Keel was hassle free from from the minute we booked, through to arriving and checking out. The flat is exactly as described and as the pictures show. It is close enough to everything to mean you don't need your car while you are there but far enough away from town to be quiet and peaceful after long days out.

Positive: This was a late booking. The apartment was cosy and clean with good facilities and excellently located just off the front. Easy to walk into town or along the beach to Sandsend. We love Whitby and will come again. There would be no reason to look elsewhere for anywhere to stay. Would highly recommend.

Lovely apartment, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The short walk to the beach is blissful and provides a stunning view of the Yorkshire coast. Unfortunately the noise from the residents above became too much at times, especially early in the morning, this was in addition to another neighbour being hostile towards us regarding parking and unpacking upon arrival.

A beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean apartment. Situated within easy walking distance of all the attractions, pubs, restaurants and shops of central Whitby but down a quiet street so you can avoid the crowds and noise. The parking space is a huge advantage. If you don’t want the expense of eating out and enjoy cooking, it has an extremely well equipped kitchen. The furnishings are to a high standard and after a long day walking, the reclining sofas were definitely welcomed. The hosts communicated quickly and instructions were clear and plentiful with a great guide on the apartment and the local area. We will definitely be returning.

The apartment is on the first floor and has a lift. Parking space is good, off the street. Flat is easy to enter. The apartment has everything you need, it’s modern and very comfortable.

Angela Stunning apartment with high quality finish throughout. Immaculately clean, spacious and very well equipped. Large comfy beds gave really good nights sleep. Covered balcony was an ideal space to sit for morning cuppa and evening drinks looking across to the Abbey and listening to the sounds of the sea. Free private parking was a real bonus. Would highly recommend Even Keel

Second stay here this year. In my opinion it's the best rental in Whitby and we've stayed in loads. The parking space is such a coup - really private and roomy. The apartment is spotless and so comfy, massive beds, two bathrooms, great showers, really comfy sofas - plus everything you need and genuinely clean. And the location is perfect, so close to the cliffs for a view out to sea, easy to walk into the town but far enough out to be peaceful at night. I would 100% recommend and hope to be back here again soon!

Very comfortable Negative: Only minor annoyance but locked cabinet in the second bedroom contained something (boiler perhaps) which was very noisy early morning

High quality accommodation only a stone's throw from the cliff edge and a short walk into Whitby itself. The main living/dining/kitchen was spacious and well appointed and the bedrooms were excellent. Particularly appreciated the en-suite shower/WC. Car parking space was welcome although would be helpful if it's letter was issued in the instructions to properly identify it.

fabulous apartment x spotless! in good location. It was a bit tricky getting in as the address is different to the flat number which was a bit confusing . and the parking is at the rear but there is 3 car parks and number 3 is under a little alley way so it did take a while to get in and sorted. but despite that the flat was amazing and i would definitely return. ot has all the amenities required and much more :-) beds are very comfy so is the lounge sofas and all mod cons in flat. highly recommended

Excellent short break in Whitby Positive: Good location approx 15 mins walk into the centre of Whitby. The apartment was modern, clean and well equiped. Negative: The car park was numbered on the plan but lettered in the car park which needs addressing otherwise straightforward. Also being picky, there were winter duvets on all the beds which affecting sleep quality. In the summer months in an already warm modern apartment (even with windows open) summer duvets would have helped hugely. Otherwise i cant fault the apartment.

Nice Property, great location, onerous process Positive: The property was very good, just a blip on the cleanliness in the living room. Location is excellent for both the sea front and bars/restaurants. Free parking at back of property is a bonus in Whitby Negative: There are extra 'small' hidden costs in the price with regards to insurance. Plus there is a £250.00 damage deposit for which i still await return 5 days after we vacated the property. The Host and stay process is quite onerous with numerous communications, information spread throughout and money taken in different transactions. for this reason i would seriously consider other options before using them again.

Negative: Disappointed that there was an initial mix up over the letting agent unexpectedly requesting extra security £, following our confirmed Booking. com purchase, when there had been no prior mention of this requirement on the Booking. com property listing. Customer Services were eventually assistive but, with hindsight, we would have found it simpler (and cheaper) to have booked this property direct from the letting agent rather than having Booking. com caught in the middle with inadequate information on the property 'terms and conditions' and the agent seeking to impose post contract changes . (Booking. com advise listings will be updated for future bookings, to prevent similar confusions)

What an incredible place, great property and nice location. The apartment was perfect for what we needed and enjoyed our stay. The communication and information provided was great. Definitely be on the list next time we travel to Whitby and would recommend to anyone!
