Perfectly finished fisherman’s cottage, everything walkable, Positive: Perfectly described location perfect. Beach 5 mins away bars and restaurants round the corner. Cottage was comfortable and well equipped. Negative: Nothing.
The cottage was very nice but smelled really musty until windows opened. The cottage had everything needed for our stay and was very clean and comfortable, however the stairs aer a nightmare very steep also there were no photos showing the top of the stairs, had there been I would never have booked this cottage as me and my husband are in our 70s and they were very unsafe for us.

Nice little cottage and good selection board games. Had most of the stuff we needed. The stairs are steep so would not recommend for less mobile people.

Small but cosy cottage in very central location Positive: Character cottage in a good location with everything needed for a weekend stay. We liked having the small outdoor terrace (but it could do with some lighting). Generally clean, tidy and homely. Negative: Smell of damp hits you as soon as you open the front door Standard double bed, felt small Too many emails from Host & Stay Noise at night as people having had a good evening out walked directly past house singing loudly!! No flexibility at all for early check in/late check out which I do understand, but why not just state this on the listing? A pint of milk in the fridge on arrival would have been nice
Great place to stay Positive: We liked the decor and it was well equipped. We really like the location. It was central but in a quiet road off the main road. Broadstairs is brilliant. Negative: The steep stairs but nothing can be done about them.

Fab cottage fab location exceptional service Positive: The most beautiful cottage absolutely immaculate so much attention to detail in the decor. This property has been put together and decorated with so much love whilst managing to maintain a really homely atmosphere. The property was equipped with absolutely everything we needed and more. The location couldn't have been better and check in was smooth and problem free. Communication with the host was immediate and polite. As a first time booker I couldn't have felt any more looked after Negative: There was no flexibility with check in times but I do understand that this is a business that needs a smooth turnaround.

Very cute cottage in great location but be wary that any problems are unlikely to be resolved Positive: Really lovely little cottage in a perfect location. Negative: We didn't have hot water or heating during our stay. It's a cold house and we were unable to shower, which really impacted on our comfort. No one came out to address the problem and communication was poor and inconsistent. Despite raising the issue with Host and Stay at the time through calls, messages and leaving a note behind, I can see from another review that the property was rented out after we stayed without the problem having been resolved. Despite repeated assurances since from Host and Stay that they're investigating, a resolution is still outstanding. I would avoid Host and Stay properties in the future.
Not hot water - not liveable. Positive: Great location - cute place Negative: During our whole stay there was no hot water or heating, and no one even bothered to try and fix it. Had bad communication - was promised someone would come out for 2 days, no one came out let alone actually fix the issue.
Disappointing Negative: The anxiety caused by the lack of an email re the key code and I only got it because I phoned several times before the call was answered. If the info had also been sent via the app messaging I'd have got it. The dangerous top of the stairs - taking my lfe in my hands to go to the toilet in the night without taking a tumble downstairs. The intense cold upon arrival around 3pm. Even with the radiators pumping out the heat, it took 12 hours for the house to become warm enough to peel off our extra layers. So we sat in our coats plus blankets in the sitting room. And wore leggings and a fleece jacket to bed, along with hot water bottles.
Great. Walking distance to everything but also a quiet location. Positive: The property clean, cute and well located. It had all the facilities needed/required for a weekend break. Negative: Nothing. Although, if you are unsteady on your feet the stairs may be a little steep.
A very enjoyable third stay in the cottage. Positive: The cottage is located in central Broadstairs not far from the seafront. Negative: Nothing,everything was satisfactory.

Beautiful cottage right in the middle of a busy and vibrant Broadstairs town, so close to the beach! We loved our stay at this cottage, it’s very cute and nice little garden. The staircase walking up with interesting, a bit too narrow and wonky but didn’t cause us too much problem. I was not in favour of what felt like a hidden cost after we booked the space. The no -refunds of waiver and a large refundable deposit situation left me feeling a bit disappointed. This should be stated clearly before booking. Other than that, all good.

Akurat trafiliśmy na folk week muzyka na żywo towarzyszyła wszedzie czy to w pubach czy restauracji bylo fantastycznie. Positive: Dom ma swoj klimat i jest wygodny jedynie problematyczne sa schody ( zbyt strome , latwo tez rano sie potchnac idac z pokoju do lazienki). Obiekt dogodnie polozony blisko plazy oraz sklepu Tesco czy tez restauracji i pubow . Negative: Strome schody przedzielajace na gorze lazienke z pokojem.
This home was lovely and exactly as described. The location was unmatched, close to the beach, bars, restaurants etc. The little courtyard was lovely to sit in and enjoy the sun! The house also had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this place!
A great location. Bed was comfortable. The steep stairs didn’t bother us and were not an issue for us. Nice to have a small outside space in the centre of town.
Perfect location, cute cottage but steep stairs Positive: The location is simply perfect. Super close to the beach and all the bars and restaurant but it is very quiet. The cottage is super cute and it has everything you need for a weekend stay or even longer. All very easy getting there as it is super close to the train station also and the keys are in a key box. Negative: The stairs are super steep so, definitely not fit for someone with mobility issues. The bed is very small and the duvet was so heavy, I had to change it to a blanket. Apart from that we really liked it.

We had a great stay here, hosts were really friendly and helpful. House is on a quite road in center of town and only 5 mins to beach! Great stay for a little getaway. Small yard at the back was nice for morning coffee and breakfast too.
Positive: The location was perfect. Well equipped. Very nice, quaint little cottage. Negative: The stairs were very difficult to negotiate, although got used to them after a couple of days. Rather a damp musty smell when we first arrived. May have been empty for a while.

Pleasant and ideal for a short stay. Positive: The location and cleanliness of the property. Negative: The top step on the staircase needs to be bridged from the bedroom to the opposite floor to the bathroom. A banister rail needs to be installed on the right of the steep and narrow staircase replacing the length of themed rope.
