We recently stayed at this beautiful lodge and had a lovely experience. The lodge and surrounding area were stunning, and it felt very spacious and luxurious – perfect for relaxing. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches. We had towels and towelling robes each, and the lodge was fully equipped with a dishwasher, bath, shower, washing machine, hair dryer, straighteners and even an Xbox. There were a few small areas that were slightly dirty on arrival (bits left on the floor), and the hot tub wasn’t clean at first. However, the team sent someone straight away to sort it and were great. They also kindly allowed us a free late checkout, which made the stay even better.

A spacious, well equipped lodge in quiet surroundings. We took my grandparents and they absolutely loved it, all on the one level and private hot tub.

place was spotless and had absolutely everything you need for cozy night in. has games got kids, has everything to cook and relax. check in was really easy and stuff was amazing and helpful. definitely recommend to everyone and will be going back again.

Lovely lodge on a peaceful site with a hot tub and views of the duck pond outside. Fabulous view of Roseberry Topping and walking distance to Great Ayton and the larger market town of Stokesley with some lovely restaurants and pubs with gardens. Highly recommend.

Positive: Large lodge very clean hot tub excellent ideal for a group get away Negative: The road leading up to the lodges are full of pot holes not good for tyres or suspension on my car. The barbecue could do with a new one. We didn't plan on using it it was rusty and dirty would have needed a deep clean before I cooked on it.

We had a great stay at Endeavour lodge this weekend and would love to come again. We wanted a central location to meet as 3 couples and got a great deal for what we were looking for. The lodge was lovely, clean and as described. We did get told in advance that there was an issue with the bifold door which we were concerned about but it was fine and well communicated. The hot water was temperamental but was fine when we got it working, and the oven was also difficult, but again we worked around it and managed in the end. I would say for other guests to just be wary that there are groups on the site that may be drinking etc, and we did witness an argument between a family with children and a hen do, but we had no issues with this. Beds were comfy, lots of amenities included with dishwasher and washing machine. The hot tub was clean and warm when we arrived and easy to work. The pond is a lovely setting too. We had a great time, thank you for having us and we will be back!

Decent place to stay, very quite location but used as a base to go to the surrounding beaches.

We had a great stay at Endevour Lodge. A couple of niggles were sorted very promptly - boiler fixed and new towels within 20 mins. The toilet in the ensuite is filling continously but with the door closed this wasnt an issue at night. The perfect weather meant we enjoyed the hot tub and view of the lake

A lovely pristine lodge in an beautiful location Positive: A fabulous lodge for a group visit. Hot tub was excellent and the whole place was spotlessly clean and in a gorgeous location. Good little park for the kids too. Negative: One of the rooms which had a removable bed in it was so small the door wouldn’t shut with the bed set up.

Excellent communication with the host. Lovely setting and well equipped lodge.

Endeavour Lodge Positive: A lovely area which was peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of space in the lodge. Negative: BBQ rusty and broken, we planned having a BBQ but I had to drive out to shops and purchase a lot of cleaning products and wire brushes before using. Washing machine and dishwasher had slight funny smells and the microwave in the lodge wasn't fitted correctly and we couldn't open the door. There was no parasol but a parasol stand and the hot tub had bits hanging off and falling off when you put the jets in. I had to bleed the boiler as no hot water - suggests a leak... And the ensuite toilet was constantly noisy and water running. X box advertised but didn't work and only had one game in for the kids. King size bed felt broken in the middle.

We had a lovely relaxing stay and would return but some areas as above could be improved. Positive: We loved the location and the size and layout of the property. The hot tub was lovely and always the perfect temperature. The beds were comfortable. Negative: I feel the property is in some need of minor refurb/attention. There was a hole in our bedroom wall, the dishwasher didn’t work very well. Several of the jet covers in the hot tub were either missing or kept coming off while in use. I feel the cleaning could have been better. Skirting boards were dirty and the dining table didn’t look fully clean on arrival. Despite saying the BBQ should be left clean after use- we found it wasn’t very clean on arrival and needed cleaning before use. Both tin openers in the kitchen did not work.

Fantastic stay, the chalet was a lot bigger in person and very clean and tidy. Will be returning for sure.

Fine for what we needed it for. Positive: Nice and well presented, clean and warm. Negative: Mattresses need to be replaced, very thin and can feel the springs. The dishwasher had an awful smell and the en-suite shower was pretty much a dribble.

A lovely stay at Endeavour Lodge, highly recommend. The lodge was modern and clean and had all the amenities you would need including a gas bbq (gas provided), board games and an Xbox. The highlight of the accommodation was definitely the hot tub and decking area as well as the provided bath robes. The accommodation site itself is located in peaceful surroundings and a five minute drive away from Great Ayton which has a Co-op, cafe and a nice pub (Royal Oak). Couldn’t recommend enough for a stay in the Yorkshire Moors.

house was everything we imagined, there was a few wee marks and dips here and there but nothing that would ruin your time there!

When entering the accommodation it’s looked stunning, but after being there a short amount of time you had really see that it’s needs some T&C. The BBQ was completely unusable, and full of mould. This was disappointing as we had taken a load of BBQ food with us for the first night, which ended up going to waste. There’s signs all over the site, and lodge with rules, and informed of a fine if you don’t dispose of any waste, but when we went to the bin area there was litter, bin bags and even dirty nappies all over the floor. The site should think about following their own rules. We were unable to use the outside area due to the amount of wasps. I reported this to somebody, but nothing was done about it. This was extremely disappointing as we’d paid for accommodation with a hot tub, which we couldn’t use. The bi folding door was hanging off one of the hinges, which was extremely dangerous. Again this was reported, but nothing was done about it.
