About this property

These ten delightful lodges provide an exceptional base from which to discover this picturesque corner of the country. The Cleveland Hills sit between the North York Moors National Park to the south and Middlesbrough to the north. It’s an area steeped in history from medieval castles to Captain Cook and the industrial heritage of the North East.

A public footpath runs approximately one mile through fields to the village of Great Ayton with it’s range of local shops, pubs and locally renowned ice cream shop and pie shop. Or if all of that sounds just too strenuous, take the easy route and just relax in your hot tub and watch the sun glistening on the lake before heading indoors for a cosy night warmed by the wood burner.

Each lodge has lake views and on the site you will find a small children’s playground. There is also a doggy play park and walking area to ensure every member of the family is well looked after in this stunning lodge development.

“We had a great stay at Endeavour lodge this weekend and would love to come again. We wanted a central location to meet as 3 couples and got a great deal for what we were looking for. The lodge was lovely, clean and as described. We did get told in advance that there was an issue with the bifold door which we were concerned about but it was fine and well communicated. The hot water was temperamental but was fine when we got it working, and the oven was also difficult, but again we worked around it and managed in the end. I would say for other guests to just be wary that there are groups on the site that may be drinking etc, and we did witness an argument between a family with children and a hen do, but we had no issues with this. Beds were comfy, lots of amenities included with dishwasher and washing machine. The hot tub was clean and warm when we arrived and easy to work. The pond is a lovely setting too. We had a great time, thank you for having us and we will be back!”
