Positive: Lovely little house clean tidy good location Negative: Could of done with spare pillows apart from that everything perfect 👌

Nice and clean great location would use again. Positive: The property was in a great location would use again. Negative: Only had one parking permit for one day so we had to chance the extra day without one.

Excellent stay in comfortable accommodation that had everything we needed for a stress free weekend Positive: Clean and spacious accomodation, the location was central to all our favourite places. Negative: Nothing to dislike

As soon as you opened the front door and walked into the entrance corridor the smell hit you, it was a very damp/unclean smell all over downstairs and as you walked upstairs, especially in the living room & kitchen. Couldn’t find the parking scratch card at first, had to ring Host & Stay but then my son found it stuck in the welcome book stuck between 2 pieces of paper, it would’ve been handy to have it out on the table along with the parking disc, especially when you need it to park without getting a fine. Then in the welcome pack it’s says ‘don’t tamper with cameras’ which was a concern we was being watched, so had to contact AirBnB as that was a massive worry. The people before us staying in the house left a bag of dog poo in the back yard without throwing it in the bin so obviously no cleaner checked that before we arrived. Also by the back window people had been smoking as the curtains smelt of cigarette smoke. Overall not the best property we’ve used on Airbnb.

Positive: All very clean and tidy, lots of space, check-in was easy, nice to have an outdoor area. Negative: The kitchen could do with being a bit more equipped. We could have done with some foil/baking paper, a cheese grater, another baking tray, and some kitchen paper! I left a bottle of ketchup behind as am sure most people get fish and chips when on holiday! Also more toilet rolls were needed, again I bought some and left a few behind.

Loved the property and location excellent. Lack of a few final touches and general cleanliness were a downside to the st Positive: Beautiful house. Excellent location Negative: Lacked a few final touches .eg needs basic cleaning products available for use during stay and tea towel to be available. Mugs dirty on arrival. Mirrors and extra pillows in bedrooms needed. Although kitchen and bathroom were clean the house generally lacked thorough cleaning. ie dusty skirting boards, black dust on TV stand. TV remote covered in sand. Only had 2 night stay but had to purchase cleaning products .

House was as described. Kids loved the little snooker table. We loved the location near the park and North bay. We would stay here again.

Top für Familien Positive: Sehr netter Support. Alles super. Ganz besonders das Spieleparadies für die Kinder. Negative: Es sind überall Nägel an der Wand, anscheinend hingen dort mal Bilder. Aber sonst war alles super. Vielleicht finden die Bildee ihren Weg zurück ins Haus.

Perfect spot for visiting Scarborough. Quiet residential area within walking distance of almost everything! Specially good for the Open Air Theatre and Peasholm ParkHouse is exactly as described and has everything you need. There is disc parking everywhere in Scarborough so in the end we decided to travel by train to avoid the hassle.

perfect for what we needed Positive: we were at 2 concerts at the open air theatre and the location was absolutely perfect. the bed was very comfy, spacious house. Negative: I guess could have been a bit cleaner, sounds daft but some bigger glasses and the cups etc could probably do with changing. but that wouldn't stop us returning.

A decent place for a weekend, which was clean and comfortable, although slightly on the higher side for a town with so many available guesthouses.

I think for the price paid this was a good value proposition. The sofa bed in the lounge is a bit of a stretch but just about adequate so more suitable for 4 adults with 2 kids. The place was clean and neighbours friendly. Place had everything needed. There was some confusion with parking that caused one of the party to book elsewhere. This was sorted when we got there. We were there for a concert at the Open Air so the location was great for that. However it was a good 15 minute walk into central scarborough. I dont think it would take that much to push this up from a 3 to 4 rating to a 4-5. Overall good value for money, good hosts and would consider staying again.

Great location, house needs improvement and cleaning better. Positive: Great location! Lovely house with lots of potential. Great room sizes and comfortable beds. Pool table was great for the kids but the floor and cellar was cold and dirty so didn’t want to stay down there for long. Negative: No storage (eg. Drawers) to put underwear/trousers, general belongings in, only a rail to hang clothes. No mirrors in either bedroom making getting ready, doing hair impossible and frustrating. Dirty towels, general cleanliness of floors and surfaces was not good enough, we left the house cleaner than when we arrived. In the welcome brochure it states ‘do not tamper with cameras, which were stated before arrival’. There was absolutely no mention of cameras when I booked this, I then contacted the owner as soon I saw this asking for them to clarify where these cameras were. I was told they would let me know and still have had no response. This made our overall stay uncomfortable, feeling like there was the possibility we were being filmed the whole time. It only needed clarification! Would not stay here again or with this host.

Overall we had a good stay. The accommodation was great for access into Scarborough. It’s not perhaps as homely as other properties we’ve stayed in but there was plenty of space in the house for 4 of us and our boys enjoyed the pool table in the basement. It seems to be a quiet area but accessible to everything. The communication about the parking situation was a little confusing at first as it’s disc zone controlled, but Host and Stay were responsive and eventually we got some parking scratch cards so you can park on the street which was great. There is parking on other streets about 5 mins walk away if not. The cleanliness of the property wasn’t quite as good as I’d expected and there were a few other minor things but after our stay I contacted Host and Stay as it was a new property to them and they reassured me they would follow it up and make sure it was improved.
