Beautiful place to stay if you like peace and quiet with great views.Some nice walks from the door but a car is needed to get to the surrounding villages and towns.The property is very well equipped for larger families or groups of friends with plenty of space.Large well equipped bedrooms with nice en-suites,The 2 kitchen areas have good storage and two fridge freezers.The snooker/pool table is also good quality and was great entertainment most evenings.Just to note the properties location is not ideal for the elderly due to the steep steps down to the property entrance.Would definitely recommend Edge farm.

Lovely farmhouse with breathtaking North Yorkshire views. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully put together, and we really appreciated the attention to detail. spotless bathrooms and kitchen. Washing and dryer were amazing and very goos quality.Very well stocked kitchen with dishes and utensils.sufficient parking. The drawback was inability to control the thermostat, it was freezing in some rooms and baking in others. the sofas in living room were not comfortable or family gathering suitable. the bedroom with 4 single bedrooms was in the loft with very low ceiling.

We had a wonderful stay celebrating our eldest’s 21st with friends and family. The house was perfect - spacious, beautifully kept, and had everything we needed. The surroundings were stunning, and we made great use of the log fire and all the board games. It was the ideal spot for a special celebration, and we really enjoyed our time there. Thank you!

The accommodation is as it is in the pictures, clean and well presented. The open plan layout is great for larger groups. The surroundings and views are stunning, and we went in a wet March. Great accommodation. Instructions provided by the host were accurate and succinct.

We had a lovely stay at Edge Farm with the family (14 of us). The house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Absolutely beautiful location and the views were stunning. Some great walks straight from the door and plenty to do in the surrounding area. We all really enjoyed our time here and would definitely love to come back again in the future. :)

Hello. I will use this to say how great this place was. If you are looking for place to stay for large group of people (10-14) then this place will be perfect. Yes, it is expensive, but worth every single penny we paid. The privacy, the view and location. Large rooms, kitchen, living room and pool room - brilliant. We are glad that we chose exactly this place. Only down side was that central heating was set on 19 degrees and upstairs rooms and bathrooms was cold and we had to use fire place all the time to keep place warm. Taking into consideration that temperatures are dropping in this time of the year the temperature of the premises should be adjusted (increasing or decreasing) by people who are renting the place and not set by the owner without an ability to change it. Over all great experiences.

A group of 9 adults and 5 children had a lovely stay. The house is in a gorgeous rural location with an enclosed garden for children to play. The kitchen was well-stocked with equipment for a large group, the bedrooms were all clean and comfortable and there was a high chair available for us to use.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning valley. Would highly recommend. I had a mixed age group with an 86 year old and an MS Suffer, and it is worth noting there are a full flight of stairs to descend with all of your luggage and supplies.

What a fantastic place. Lovely and cosy. Really enjoyed our time there. Very comfortable and the scenery is absolutely amazing day and night. Clear skies meant that we could do stargazing. The unique weather gave use the most beautiful and dramatic photos. It was large enough to accommodate all 9 of us. The top floor had 4 beds and our girls loved it. The wood fireplace was the icing on the cake. We really enjoyed the cosy nights playing the games provided. If you want to be a little place of magic in the Yorkshire Dales, I would recommend you try to book this place.

Fantastic Family Stay at Edge Farm We stayed at Host & Stay | Edge Farm from 15th to 21st August and had a wonderful holiday with our group of 14, including two children under 3 and a grandmother in her 80s. The farmhouse was spacious, well presented, and extremely comfortable, with stunning views across the Yorkshire Dales. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax, unwind, and recharge. There was something for everyone during our stay. We enjoyed local excursions including quad biking, petting animals at a nearby farm, and an exciting day at Go Ape. Back at the farmhouse, the snooker table provided hours of entertainment for the adults, with plenty of friendly competition and laughter. Edge Farm offered the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, allowing our family to spend quality time together while enjoying the beautiful countryside. We left refreshed, with fantastic memories, and would highly recommend Edge Farm to families and larger groups.

This property and it’s beautiful location is an opportunity of a lifetime. The view was absolutely awesome. And the house was spacious inside and out, with all modern conveniences. My family and I were ages 3 through seniors, and everyone had a fantastic vacation.

Amazing scenery in such a peaceful location. The facilities were great. We loved the pool/snooker table. It is in a remote location so you do need to consider this. The drive there isn’t easy but we managed.

A stunning house with the most beautiful view. It was a brilliant place for a group of friends with small children. The garden was fabulous. The living areas were spacious with a huge dining table and lots of chairs. The kitchen was very well equipped, it had everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean, they even laid the stove for us so it was ready to light. There were lots of good games and DVDs. Phone signal and wifi were a bit patchy in some areas but that’s to be expected in such a rural area. The drive to the property had lots of turns and steep hills but our Tesco delivery van made it there so it wasn’t an issue! Overall it was an incredible and memorable stay.

Brilliant stay, house was in great condition and well looked after

I booked this property for a family get together in eaely May, comprising 8 adults and 3 under 16's. We had a fantastic weekend exploring the local area, relaxing at the property and sharing meals together. It very much lived up to expectations. The surrounding countryside was beautiful, with fantastic views from the property and walks right on the doorstep. A lovely surprise was the variety of bird life we were able to spot. Swallows, swifts, woodpeckers, goldfinches, a red kite, oyster catchers and various others. We could even hear a cuckoo and a tawny owl. All the family commented they'd had a lovely time and praised the accommodation highly. We'd definitely consider another stay.

This house is absolutely fantastic and would every penny. We were a large group of friends who stayed for a quiet weekend away. We left for a few long walks and returned to play pool, games and cook some big dinners together. All the rooms are great sizes, the views are fantastic and the fire is a great addition. Although not the easiest to find in the dark it’s beautifully quiet and isolated and the directions provided were sufficient. We would 100% stay here again. Hosts are also very responsive and helpful
