I once had to sleep in a bus shelter in january and that was all round a better expirence than what i saw with this property. When we first entered the property you are hit with an overwhelming scent of dog and mildew, the smell doesnt go away if you open the windows which were already open. You have to live and sleep with that scent. The house is so dirty that my toddlers feet were black with dirt and old pieces of food. There was urine stains on the toilet. Mould in the shower, dust almost everywhere and someones half used soap in the bath. There were nails protruding from the skirting board which we nearly stood on. Glass in the door panel was cracked and the general furnishings were extremely tired. To top it off, the walls l, presumably made of paper, offered no protection against what must have been a full on drum and bass rave all night. This was quite literally so bad we left after 1 night. So far 0 resolution from host and stay. Do not believe the listing's info.

On arrival I called (as we were 50 mins early) to check we could enter - confirmed cleaning was done. On entering, the two single beds were dirty and unmade, the bathroom was dirty with towels in the bath. Called again and this was rectified but only 2 towels left (for 4 of us) I again complained. Went to go to bed (in the double bed) to find the bedding blood stained. It took 4 days before the blood stained sheets were changed (on the first attempt the incorrect bedding was changed and the blood stained ones left). When the blood stained sheets were changed, the dirty sheets were left on the floor in the bedroom. The "fully equipped kitchen" did not contain any baking trays, only one saucepan and one frying pan. The cutlery drawer was full of cob webs, the dishwasher contained dirty dishes and the bin was full of rubbish. Tiny baking trays were provided on day 4 after I asked for all evening meals out to be paid for (because I couldn't cook). Rubbish in the garden - rat risk.

For us was ideal as only a few minutes away from our daughter's. Only two minor criticisms - no hand towel provided for bathroom and the front garden needed attention. Weeding this area would greatly improve the first impression you get of the property. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay.

Very very poor hygiene. The whole place wasn’t cleaned. We asked whether we could check in at about 2pm instead of 4pm b Positive: Literally NOTHING Negative: It was smelly, dirty and the bed sheets were used ones. The shower had used towels and overall the property’s hygiene was very very poor.

Communication and directional instructions along with the ease of the check-in and check-out procedure was extremely good, but that’s where it ended….. However, once we walked inside a real strong musty old smell hit us. Then we waked into the kitchen and there was loads of washing up left on the draining board to be put away! Then upstairs the bedrooms were fine but the listing detailed that there were towels provided…. We had two hand towel size towels between 3 of us, no actual hand towels to dry hands, no bath mat or anything. There was long black curly hair in the shower as well which I had to wash out before we could use it. Neighbours were very noisy throughout the night as well. Luckily as we were attending an event nearby all weekend, we only used the place to sleep in and wash in. It did what it needed to do for us but it definitely needs an upgrade.

Property was found unclean and we spent 3 hours cleaning upon arrival to feel comfortable to sleep there that night. We requested a 10% refund due to the state of the house and was ignored by hosts for the duration of the four weeks after we rejected a reclean due to already completing this ourselves. The hosts then proceeded to tell air bnb that they had contacted me directly which was false. The host would acknowledge me looking for an update on the request yet never provided one. I am utterly disappointed and will not be using this host again. BE CAREFUL

Great place to stay. I stayed there for four days while my Dad was in hospital nearby. Very clean, big fridge, ironing board, cooker, washing machine etc... Convenient to Tesco metro one minute away. Parking is sometimes a bit difficult - but no real problem. Would recommend.

Very quiet neighborhood. Place was very neat and clean. Very short walk to Tescos and the bus route. I will be staying there again when I come back to Ipswich.
