Beautiful cottage in perfect location Positive: Absolutely stunning cottage in the perfect location. Gorgeous views over the countryside out to the sea. Nice and spacious. All the rooms were cosy and comfortable and everything you could possibly need. Negative: Not a thing - it was perfect.

Relaxing few days during half term with the family. Positive: Easy to arrive and keys easily accessible from the keybox. Contact e-mails before arrival were appreciated, giving property details and access routes. The directions were especially useful as Google Maps is incorrect and shows a different location for the property Negative: Everything was good. Nothing to not like.

Lovely comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings. Positive: Beautifully clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Great location - just off A1 but very quiet. Lots to do in area. Negative: All good!

Perfect spot to explore Northumberland & especially Holy Island. Highly recommend a barefoot pilgrimage across the sands at low tide. Accommodation is of an excellent standard with all you need. Very spacious so it works really well for a group. Surprised no one mentioned how close to the A1 it is, but road noise not too intrusive, though I wouldn't want to be sitting outside during warmer weather because of that. Cheswick Sands just 10 mins drive and an absolute gem of a beach. Wild swims galore!

A beautifully appointed, clean and spacious property. Just three of us staying for a long weekend but would comfortably accommodate six with great social areas in the kitchen and lounge, delightfully comfy beds and the convenience of three bathrooms. Great location straight off the A1 with a view of the coastline off Holy Island and so, so peaceful. Guest Netflix on the TV appreciated and central heating quickly warmed up the place on our first night. Holy Island, Berwick and Alnwick all an easy drive away. The nearby Barn at Beal does fab brunch and evening meals.

Fabulous house. It was a pleasure to stay somewhere that was as clean as home. There was a well stocked kitchen with plenty of crockery. We didn't realise the property overlooked the main road but mostly it didn't affect the view and wasn't too noisy to spoil our time outside appreciating the big skies and sea views. We enjoyed watching the hares in the neighbouring fields in the early evening. (We'd recommend taking binoculars) On the cloudless nights we managed to see the milky way too. Overall it was a restful stay and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend or to return for another stay in the future. One downside was the sat nav directions supplied take you to the wrong side of the main road, which initially caused us some stress but if you follow the written directions supplied you won't have a problem locating Dolphin Dream.

This is a beautiful house in a great location for exploring Northumbria, especially the beaches. Waking up to that view makes a great start to the day. We were a family of 5 adults and a two year old and the house had everything we needed. Beds were really comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. We all enjoyed the peace and quiet and yet it is literally just off the main Berwick road. Hope to go back soon

Lovely property Positive: Everything inside the property. Negative: Back area was a bit scruffy looking. The bin was overfull and as result a bit smelly in the heat.

Gorgeous 3 bedroom home, ideal location. Positive: Lovely 3 bed, 3 bath property in an ideal location for Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, the coast, local pubs and walks. Family of hares live in and around the fields at the property. Large kitchen with dining table (that we sat around playing games), patio set to enjoy the evening sun, large lounge, downstairs loo with shower, double en-suite with shower, upstairs loo with bath, two bedrooms each with twin beds. Spacious, clean, lovely welcome via text from staff, private off-road parking for a few vehicles. Large grassed garden. Negative: Twin beds with headboards at both ends weren’t massively comfortable for adults. Outside bins were already very full. But, this place is incredible so nothing really that we didn’t like.

A fantastic spot for exploring the area. Or, as we did, just relaxing and taking in the view whilst kicking a football on the lawn for a morning 😁. Comfy beds, super clean and tidy and very well kitted out kitchen. Amazing view and peaceful location. Would 100% recommend

We have stayed at lots of properties but Dolphin Dream is up there at the top of our list, it was just perfect for what we needed also superb interior, we could not have asked for anything else, we will hopefully return in the future.

Great stay for a few friends for a hiking weekend. Great views over Holy Island and walking distance to the pub. Clean, spacious and spot on.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully converted barn in Northumberland. The property was spotless, extremely comfortable, and the surrounding countryside views were just stunning. The location was perfect for family days out – we especially loved our trips to Holy Island (Lindisfarne) and Bamburgh Castle, both of which felt like proper adventures and were very easy to reach from the barn. We did have one slightly stressful moment when Storm Dave hit, but the host responded incredibly quickly and was very helpful and reassuring throughout. Their support made all the difference. Overall, it was a fantastic family holiday in a gorgeous part of the world. We’d definitely book again without hesitation!
