Clean spacious apartment in fantastic location Positive: Very spacious apartment. Back outside space was very useful especially having dogs there ( although the outside light was not working so this needs replacing) - it did not affect our stay as plenty of light from the kitchen area. Loved the table in front of the window. Negative: Although 3 adults and 1 child - we only had 3 bath towels and 1 hand towel. Whilst this did not affect our stay adversely if we had been staying longer than 2 nights it would have been an issue. We really would expect 2 towels per person as the norm so not sure if this was just an oversight.

Great town centre flat, dog friendly Positive: Lovely ground floor 2 bed flat with own private yard space. Comfy, all facilities you would require. Spacious and well kept. Had towels and some bathroom toiletries. No issues at all. In centre of saltburn, 5 min walk to everywhere. Clean and tidy, easy to get a parking space on street apartment on. Good response from host with queries I had. No issues. Negative: Few scuffs etc on walls, maybe needs a small glow up with paint etc but just cosmetic. No other issues.

Good location in Saltburn Positive: The location is fab. Close to beach and close to the lovely town and cafes etc. Good facilities and a well equipped kitchen. Negative: The smoke alarm went off and was mains wired in. No instructions as to how to switch it off. The neighbour knocked and helped us. The lounge smells of dogs and there was definitely dog hair on the carpet when I hoovered.

Brilliant stay gorgeous weather plenty to eat and drink and very dog friendly. Positive: Location great close to town just down the street to promenade every thing you need on your doorstep Negative: Nothing not to like

Positive: The location was fabulous. At one end of the street was the seafront. On the other end was the train station, a Sainsbury's, shops, cafes, a takeaway pizza shop (delicious pizza!) The apartment was lovely and roomy. Gorgeous high ceilings. The shower was lovely and powerful. It was dog friendly. Although there were people above us in another flat, we didn't hear them moving about, etc. There are plenty of utensils and crockery in the kitchen. Negative: The floor hadn't been hoovered properly. We are a 'take your shoes off at the door' family, and upon entering, we were walking on bits. Having said that, it wouldn't stop us from staying here again. Maybe just a little oversight on the hosts part. The couch could do with replacing as it wasn't comfortable. No matter how many times we puffed the cushions, they were still flat. It was not a massive problem as we were out for the majority of our stay!

Fabulous place to stay Positive: The flat was lovely & clean. Everything we needed & milk in the fridge was a lovely touch. Fantastic location for the beach & nice quiet street, close to all amenities with free parking outside the property, which was great. Ate out locally, lots of lovely bars & restaurants close by & the majority are dog friendly, also had a couple of takeaways, also very good, especially the Indian at the top of the road.. Beds were really comfy, hot shower & very homely, lots of space. All in all, a great place to stay. Negative: Couple of little points that are more for the host, rather than complaints. The plug in air freshness was so strong we had to open all doors & windows to get the smell out, a nice thought to have the house smelling nice, but these things are just so overpowering. Only one side of the toaster worked, not a big deal, but just so the host knows. Couldn't work out the tv & what we could watch/which of the 3 controls did what, an instruction sheet for oldish people like me might be good. As I say, not complaints at all, just observations, didn't change our view of a lovely place to stay.

The cleaning of the property needs serious attention. Positive: N/a, location was excellent Negative: The lounge settee and bed covers smelled of dogs, not very pleasant. we only stayed two night's instead of four.

Good flat,served its purpose but could be great with a few improvements. Positive: Great location Negative: The flat is nice but a few improvements could make a big difference.All the doors have self closing arms which makes the doors slam, some stick and need trimming and with squeaky hinges means it’s noisy to move around the flat quietly, which is a problem, especially with kids. The extractor in the bathroom is really noisy. The mattresses are poor quality, you can feel the springs ! I’ve read previous comments about mattress protectors been fitted but better quality mattresses would be a wise investment. Some simple attention to detail would make this a great flat.

Great time spent with my 2 grandsons Positive: Great location able to walk to the beach . Very quiet, no problem getting a parking space . Supermarket at top of the road , quite a few bars and takeaways a few minutes walk . Accommodation was bigger then expected and well equipped

A superb 2 night stay in beautiful Saltburn in the a well presented , clean and tidy apartment! Positive: After a wonderful 2 night stay at Diamond One, I would highly recommend  this 'modern in style apartment' in the centre of Saltburn-by-the-Sea -  it was well maintained, equipped and clean.      The accommodation is beautifully and  brightly  presented throughout too!   It is in a great location -  a short walk from the upper promenade  as well as close to local amenities in town - this  meant we were easily able to explore the wonderful Saltburn. The spacious living-dining area was ideal for my family;  the sun was shining through the large front window .  Also, a great added feature for us was the bunk bed with two single beds perfect  for the children and as we love to sit outside - we were impressed with the spacious outside patio seating area -ideal for summer 'el fresco' stays! We managed to park outside the property  too. We had a wonderful time and would happily stay here again in the future  - a lovely added touch on arrival was the supply of teabags,  milk, sugar and a bottle of wine . adding to a perfect stay!

Charming Apartment Positive: Really loved this apartment and we can't wait to book up again, although I am not sure if the neighbours would agree as hubby set the fire alarm off cooking bacon. And it was loud enough to wake the whole street up. The next door neighbour was absolutely brilliant along with the other people staying in the place and sorted it out for us, we couldn't thank them enough. The place was spotless upon arrival and fully equipped with everything we needed, with fresh milk and tea and coffee. The bed was so cosy and what a lovely peaceful street, everybody talked to you, it was so friendly. The living room is a great size with a fabulous comfortable sprawling couch. It had a lovely hot power shower and towels. Throughout our stay the host was very informative, offering lots of ideas where to go and where to eat, even offering a dine in at cost, which would be great for special occasions.I would highly recommend this place. Negative: Nothing to dislike.

Disappointing! Positive: Really nice and clean apartment with good facilities in good position. Comfortable lounge. Negative: Our stay was spoilt by the unbelievably uncomfortable bed. It was a small double, but you could feel the springs coming through the hard mattress. My wife went and slept in the lounge. We made an official complaint and the landlord - while he responded quickly - just brought a 'mattress topper' just a few mm thick; probs cost him £3.99 at B&M - unbelievable! This is the 2nd day of our 5-day stay after one night. We requested a 50% refund and we would leave that day and not leave a review. His response: 'Sorry, can't do that, it's the height of the season'. I honestly don't get it? Why can't business owners invest in their clients? A good Mattress Topper would have cost £60-£70 tops (excuse the pun) and a happy client who would definitely return. Staggers the imagination to be honest :( Finally; it was a 15yr old TV according to the model number - how much does a reasonably-priced smart TV cost these days?

Lovely apartment Excellent apartment not far from the sea front. The main problem is parking. Although the write up says there is free parking - it depends on whether there is room! We found it extremely difficult to park if we used our car. The shower in the apartment could do with a non- slip shower mat and the larger settee in the living room needs updating as it is uncomfortable in the middle. Unfortunately due to covid the lift down to the lower promenade wasn't working, which was disappointing as my husband is disabled so we had to walk down then back up the bank (very steep) to the upper promenade. There are buses however but you need a timetable. The nearest supermarket is Sainsbury's just a few minutes walk up the road, where you also find the railway station. This is convenient for visiting York or Middlesborough. The upper promenade is a lovely place to walk and there are plenty of seats to sit on and enjoy the view.

Positive: Great location between shops/ hospitality and the beach. Key collection instructions etc were clear and easy to understand. Negative: A bit lacking in character

Very good accommodation. Very spacious, clean and great location for shops, restaurants and beach. Only negative was bunk bed not very comfortable.

Flat was clean and tidy. Nice welcome with wine. Very convenient to town and beach. Just wish upstairs neighbour was a little quieter.

Positive: Location. Larger than expected. Comfortable. Had all facilities that you need . Good shower. Quiet Negative: Oven had a smoked fish smell so we used the microwave. A set of drawers would be useful.

Great Apartment, Great Location!! Positive: A lovely, spacious ground floor apartment in a perfect location. Situated just a few minutes' walk from the train station, Diamond One couldn't have been more conveniently located. It is close to all the shops, including a large Sainsbury's, cafes and restaurants. There is a large pub, The Marine, just around the corner on Marine Parade, where nice pub food is served. The property had everything we needed to make our stay very pleasant. We would definitely rent this apartment again. Thank you to Charlie of Host & Stay, who was very helpful and informative. Negative: This is not a "dislike", more a suggestion. A fan would have been useful in this hot weather. But we just opened windows instead.

Positive: Great location. Lovely accommodation very clean. Great value.

Positive: Very spacious and close to all amenities. Negative: No cupboard or draws to put non-hanging clothes in. No shelving in bathroom or shower. No dressing table or shelves to put toiletries etc on.

Reviews of this apartment are pretty accurate but we'd stay again. Positive: The apartment is well located and a good size. We would stay again. Negative: The plates, cutlery and utensils weren't clean and still had food and grease on them. The tin opener didn't work. The sofa smelt of wet dog and there was a vague smell of damp in some areas of the property. The boiler kept flashing up error codes and had to be pressureised every time we wanted hot water. Everything in the apartment seems to have been done as cheaply as possible from the flooring to kitchen equipment to the artwork on the walls.

Amazing Positive: Everything, it was clean, welcoming and very comfortable . The staff were exceptionally helpful. It was worth every penny.

Hassle free clean would stay again. Positive: Great location. Rooms were lovely and warm upon arrival. Negative: The shower seal was dirty I think that was due to being quite old. The oven had tinfoil placed on the bottom shelf to cover the scratched surface.

Great stay in excellent accommodation. Positive: Really nice and well appointed ground floor flat. Spacious, warm & comfortable, and with everything we needed.= including a great location in the heart of the town. Negative: Parking can get a little tight at peak times but to be fair you wouldn't ever fail to get parking in the general area.

Nice place, good area, and in the right place Positive: The place was spacious, and mainly clean, we were very close to the beach and shops, Driving in & out was good Negative: The bathroom was not clean, shower dirty and toilet seat loose I tightened it myself, a lot of items were rusty and there were rust marks on the floor. It was impossible to park anywhere near the apartment, 1st night top of the street, 2nd near the bottom.

Excellent break, very good communication with the letting company. Positive: Spacious, very well appointed and in an excellent location. Negative: Sofas in Diamond 1 not the most comfortable. Difficult to access the refuse bins unless you are in the ground floor apartment.

This apartment is very well located for easy access to Saltburn town facilities with good restaurants, cafes and shops nearby yet it is a quiet neighbourhood at night. You can easily see the sea as it is at the other end of the street (though you are up much higher so it is a steep descent down hundreds of steps to the beach!) The facilities in the flat are fine for a short stay though I found the sofas uncomfortable (I am 5'8" and they were not really deep enough for me). If you have a dog be warned that the 'garden' is a concrete yard with no grass at all (my dog was unimpressed). I didn't enjoy the on street parking as all the housing is long terraces, so it is a competitive sport between local residents and holiday guests wanting to park outside their 'home'. However, I did always manage to get parked somewhere on the right street.

Wonderful property, marvellous location We loved our stay here. The property was cleaned, well maintained and equipped and beautifully located - a gorgeous gentrified street near to the beach and all amenities. Communication from the property owner and manager was timely and helpful. We will definitely recommend and return when time alows. Suggestions to make the stay absolutely perfect would be to increase drawer storage space in bedrooms and towel drying space in bathrooms. The lounge sofas were disappointing - uncomfortable and small - this wasn't really a problem for a summer stay as we were out and about so much, but would be a drawback for an out of season stay (which we would like to book at some point) where home chilling out would be more important. The lounge could easily accommodate large comfy sofas. But I don't want these comments to taint my positive view on this property - 9.9/10, thank you!!

Very clean, well positioned between the town and the coast and with everything you’ll need for your stay. A few little issues (no external bin, blinds insufficient for keeping out morning light), but nothing to spoil the stay.

Lovely short break location. Positive: Proximity to the beach. Lovely high ceilings. Negative: No access to bins to dispose of rubbish at the end of our stay.
