Lovely Location and relaxing. Positive: New property. Really nice. Very clean. Lovely place for relaxing. Parking for 2 vehicles is a bonus. The walk to Pickering center is 40 mins which includes the time it takes to get to main road and there is the eatery in the garden center 5 mins on the main road from the complex. It's open from early if you want breakfast. Great location. Pet friendly. Nice enclosed decking. Well equiped. Only thing i will mention is the room with 2 single beds is a bit of a squeeze. The park itself is up and coming so is very quiet at the moment but we enjoyed the peace and quiet during our stay. Great for a base to explore the surrounding areas. We would stay again The Black Bull is a great pub next door to this park. 2 mins down the road.

Great weekend in our favourite part of the world, working on Trackrod Rally Yorkshire Positive: Good quality, clean, accessible, reasonable equipped, ideal for Pickering and the surrounding area, quiet at night. We did have an issue with the heating, which was promptly responded to, pointing us in the direction of an easy fix, so didn't affect our stay, as there is a separate fire. Would definitely stay there again Negative: An improvement suggestion please - put a sign on the property 'Deer View Lodge, as the sign on it doesn't say this and we missed the small plot number signs the first time we drove round trying to find it
Positive: The approach and surrounding areas were well maintained and upon entering the lodge we were delighted at the cleanliness of the lodge and the kitchen had every utensil you would need, bedrooms plenty of cupboard space only complaint we had was blind in kitchen been taken down and not replaced.
A gorgeous stay! Positive: The lodge is beautiful, well equipped and the decking area is perfect for dogs etc. The park is very well maintained and peaceful. Negative: Everything was fine, but if I was to be very particular: a mirror would be useful as it only has a small one in the bathroom, so not so easy to dry your hair etc.
Deer view lodge Positive: Immaculate. Very well equipped. Lovely outdoor area with lovely furniture. Nice and private. Negative: Just think would be better with a shower cubicle as not a lot of room by the sink. Had to ve careful opening bathroom cabinet it could quite easily bang into shower screen and break.
Cosy and comfortable Positive: The lodge was cosy and felt like a home away from home Negative: Nothing really. Only thing I can think of is would have been nice to have some hooks in the bathroom for towels etc but it’s not a big deal
Lovely quiet setting, nice outdoor seating area, Lovely watching the Hare's :-) Positive: Location was excellent for our visits to Flamingo land and North Yorkshire moors railway, Lovely quiet setting, A short walk to the local pub The Black bull (Gate was locked but there was a path a bit overgrown but you could get through,) Food was brilliant. Kitchen was useful with everything you may need (Including an Airfryer :-) ) Will definitely go back next year Negative: 2 single beds bedroom was a bit of a tight squeeze but manageable, The Double room was perfect
A short drive out of Pickering on a large developing quiet lodge park. Although payment is pay at property, payment is Positive: Spacious for 2 people and dog Negative: Difficult at first to find as the name “deer view lodge” isnt displayed only the lodge number. Wifi name and code given was incorrect but not difficult to work out the correct one.

Lovely lodge in lovely surroundings. Positive: The check in was easy with the key safe lock, the unit was lovely and spotlessly clean. Two bedrooms were were more than adequate as was the kitchen and lounge areas. Plenty of room between the units and parking for two cars. The area surrounding the lodge was exceptionally clean and tidy. Lovely walks watching the rabbits frolicking in the sunshine. Negative: Nothing that we didn't like.

We really enjoyed our stay at Deer View Lodge. The lodge was cleaned to a high standard, really modern and comfortable. This lodge is ideal for anyone wanting to explore the North York Moors, we took day trips to Whitby and Scarborough and enjoyed exploring Pickering town which was beautiful. The lodge was a great for a base to go back to at the end of a busy day! Thank you for hosting us. We will definitely book again!
Great little getaway Positive: The chalet was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our stay, there was even cleaning products and toiletries. The location was great and on a beautiful spot on the park.
We had a very relaxing weekend. It’s kept clean and tidy inside and had everything we could have needed. We struggled to find our location as the park wasn’t very well sign posted when arriving in the dark so it was hard to find but apart from that we have throughly enjoyed our stay. We had a power cut for a couple of hours Saturday evening but the team worked quickly to find the problem! Overall, I would definitely recommend if you want a place to stay with beautiful surroundings and lots of places to go within such a short distance. ☺️🚶🏽♀️🍃
At was a nice place to escape for a few days to relax. Had everything we needed in simple nice surroundings.
