The cottage was lovely , would have been a bit small if 4 people had been staying . There was only 2 of us so it was ok. \n\nWas in a good location for the town .

Clean, tidy, good location. It is quite a small house, fine for us a couple, but could be tight with others staying there too

This was an excellent place to stay, nice cosy house with incredible walks near by.

All great as advertised. Had everything needed and some free bathroom products and treats for dogs.

Had a good stay with H&S, Daisy cottage was very well prepared and presented, clean and warm. Gave 4 rather than 5 stars simply as compared to some other places we have stayed it lacked the personal touches and had the minimum amount of everything rather than doing the little extras. All that said good value and a great location.

Really cozy holiday house with all the essentials you would need. A lovely space, like home from home. Located right in the town of Masham so convenient to get to the shops, (Co-Op only 1 minute walk away). Lots of lovely pubs close by and plenty of parking in the square (with an honesty box). Would definitely recommend.

Nice little cottage but needed improvements Positive: The location was excellent. The size of the property was great Negative: Broken toilet seat, noisy boiler which leaked. Noise from next door neighbour banging doors all through day and night. Very dusty in places. Bin bags left outside in the rear yard. Some fire logs provided would have been nice.

Superb! Positive: Great location, really quiet. Had everything needed for a short stay. Bed was super comfortable. Shower was lovely. Decor was lovely too. We would go back. Albeit there was no ‘at the door’ parking but it was literally a 2 minute walk to park. The COOP was a 20 second walk too. So convenient. Negative: Nothing

Beautiful little cottage which was a perfect base for my family of 4.

The place is in a great location. Theres a decent shower. Beds are comfortable. The place was filthy and needed a good clean. The outside of the building is not very inviting and could also do with a good clean.

Was ok. Positive: It was ok Negative: Although the cottage is lovely and quite comfortable, with basic kitchen stuff and one thin J cloth for cleaning up, the parking was not ideal at all for us - as your car will not be outside the house, but will be out of sight. We arrived to find the outside bins completely overflowing, so couldn’t enjoy the small but adequate space, because of the deluge of flies in this hot weather - the outside table was also grubby and had not been wiped over - making the whole outside area an unpleasant place to be. There’s no microwave - a must for travellers to help make a quick meal after a long day out. Instead we had to use the hob and very dirty oven - again not pleasant. Almost all of the flat surfaces in the house, as well as the blinds, were covered in dust, making us feel not expected or very welcome. There was also remains of dog biscuits on the living room floor and crumbs on the coffee table. We had a very poor experience with a Host & Stay property a couple of years ago, but wanted to give them another try on this trip. We’ll not be doing that again. Shame really, as a bit of basic housekeeping would have made all the difference. So, so long H&S.

Clean modern accommodation in centre of town. Positive: Central, modern and clean Negative: Wifi was very poor so couldn’t watch catchup tv.

The cottage was easy to and exactly how it was advertised. I was a bit cold in the property and the rear outside area was very small but for the dog, but I was only there two nights so it wasn’t a problem. The cottage was nice, had everything I needed and a good location. I would recommend to anyone on a budget.

Brilliant house, brilliant spot. Everything we wanted for a lovely break, to walk and enjoy the local pubs too. Thank you. Would definitely comeback.

Positive: Easy to find, easy to find parking. Great shower. Comfy bed. Great location Negative: Found long hair in the bathroom sink, left over rotten vegetables in kitchen cupboard. Very steep stairs. Internet keeps dropping out. A lot smaller than it looks on the pictures, doesn’t give you a homely feeling. Good fooled by the pictures and the clearlyAI description. There is no firewood or kindling provided unfortunately. Lots of noise from the neighbours, banging doors. Fire alarm went off for no reason

Positive: Bedrooms beautiful and comfortable. Living room cosy. Negative: No parking. Oven not clean. No microwave. Road to cottage was basically a mud track !

Had a great couple of nights in Daisy cottage , very comfortable , everything with in walking distance ie pubs and restaurants. Host & Stay very responsive to any issues , can totally recommend.
