A beautifully presented cottage in a great location. We appreciated the tasteful Christmas decorations and the attention to detail in the property.
As before it was an excellent stay. Family enjoyed it very much.

We had a wonderful stay! There were three of us traveling up from Portsmouth, and even though we arrived late, the clear instructions meant we found the place and parked with zero drama. Good tip for future guests: watch out for market days, but you can use the parking discs inside for a 2-hour loading window right outside. The property was lovely, roomy, and spotlessly clean (especially the bathroom). We absolutely loved it. Just a heads-up to stick to the checkout time, as the cleaners are super punctual!
A lovely little apartment right in the middle of town. There was plenty of free parking in the square in front (just be mindful of market days) and the cottage was just as pictured. Everything was spotless and there were plenty of towels along with kitchen essentials. Very comfortable stay.
Positive: The apartment is in the centre of Stokesley convenient for local shops and restaurants. It is great for exploring the local area of the North York Moors and the coast. It is well equipped and comfortable overlooking the town.

Lovely apartment in great location Positive: Really lovely apartment in the centre of Stokesley. Very spacious & nicely presented. Comfortable living/dining area with nice view over the market place. Well equipped kitchen & extremely clean. Within easy walking distance to cafes, shops & restaurants & a great base to explore the wider North Yorks area. We really enjoyed our stay. Negative: We would have liked a dishwasher & better mattresses on the beds but this did not detract from our enjoyment of the property.
Our second stay in Cringle Cottage. Great location for visiting family and the towns and villages of the North Yorkshire moors. Good local shops and restaurants. Would stay again xx

Positive: It was great that breakfast food was provided. It was late when we arrived and we were tried. Negative: That there wasn’t a clothes dryer
Overall, the property has plenty of positives with a few small improvements. Positive: The property itself was stylish, nicely decorated and had a great view overlooking the market square. The bread and milk on arrival was also a thoughtful touch and appreciated after travelling. Negative: There were just a few things that could be improved. There were no photographs of the stairways on the booking website, which would be useful for families travelling with small children as the property has two sets of stairs throughout, although detailed via the floor plans. No stair gates were offered or suggested either, so this may be something worth considering in future. We didn’t feel it was safe leaving our child in any room alone for even a second because of this. We also found the beds a little uncomfortable during our stay, the single bed seemed to be memory foam and a lot more comfortable.
It was great to return to this absolutely immaculate and stylish apartment, in a wonderful location.
Suited us perfectly. I knew it woukd be good because I have stayed at Bracken Cottage Positive: Location. Bay window looking over market square. Layout. Kitchen bathroom shower Negative: Bed in 2nd room was only reasonably conformable Disappointed with loaf of bread being left for us as we didnt want it, and it seemed wasteful. Last time we stayed at Bracken Cottage we were left sealed muesli etc
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was spotless and loved the decor. The location was perfect as theres so many restaurants and shops on your door step. The host responded immediately. Highly recommended the Truffled hog for breakfast/lunch. Thank you again :)
First class accommodation in the heart of town. Positive: A relaxing place to stay with a great location. An unexpected & welcome surprise to have some essentials waiting for us in the kitchen. Negative: Nothing to dislike

Great location, right in the middle of Stokesley, close to pubs and restaurants. Easy parking. Lovely interior with views to the square from the living area. Hosts left some bread and spreads as well as the usual teas and coffees which was a nice touch. We will definitely return next time we are in the area.

A great place in a great, central location with ample parking right outside. A very well appointed property that exactly matches the photos. It was sub-zero outside and the property was nice and warm. The shared outdoor space looks nice but we didn't get to use it (sub-zero temps). There is also a 24hr, manned number to call for assistance which we thought was amazingly helpful and a huge plus. Very happy and will stay again.
Positive: I can 100% recommend Cringle Cottage. Lots of well thought out touches, such as bread and milk upon arrival, a large variety of hot drinks, mini toiletries, cold water in the fridge, mini butter and some mini jars of spread.
