The property was very clean and comfortable and there was plenty of space for five people. The kitchen is a great place to cook in, we could have done with some more glasses and an extra chair, seeing as though there were five of us. We were able to explore Northumberland from this base and we only travelled 30-60 mins to each destination.

Perfect for our purposes which was a comfortable bed and bathroom facilities and kitchen whilst at local sporting event. Positive: Clean and easy to use . As described and easy to find. Negative: Found locks on front door difficult .

Very impressed on arrival. Very clean. Well decorated. Comptable beds. Every room as in the photos and descriptions. Would recommend and would return.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the property. However, we specifically asked about an early check in (not expecting a truly early check in) as we have 2 young babies and an early check in would have been helpful. We was told that this wouldn’t be possible due to the property being deeply cleaned. Upon check in, it became apparent that the property had only had a quick surface clean and that almost every floor (especially the hard flooring) had not been cleaned and there was stains throughout. There was also toothpaste and hairs left in the bathroom from the previous guests and a dirty high chair. The advertisement is also needing to be updated, as the property is dog friendly (which they provide info for at check in), their are smoke detectors installed throughout (which is not mentioned on the advert) and their is a tumble dryer and clothing airer in the property too.

The Cresent is a bit of a Curate's egg, very good in parts and not so good in others. The house is well presented and in good decorative condition, the kitchen is spacious and again in good condition. The not so good is the management of this property, the kitchen tap is loose and you need two hands to operate. Cleaning could be better, Ringo cereals found under both foot stools, in the Kitchen no vegetable peeler nor corkscrew present, only one small dishwasher tablet provided for a 7 night stay!! my biggest gripe is only one toilet roll provided per toilet - disgraceful. This has been previously commented on by a previous guest with Host & Stay saying this would be reviewed - it seems the review found this practice suitable!! The listing also needs to be updated as it lists no smoke alarms fitted - it currently has 6 fire alarms fitted, also no Tumble dryer fitted. My main gripe with The Cresent is with the management of the property by Host & Stay.

Lovely house, great size for 5 guests. Open plan kitchen diner out onto the garden a bonus. There were dust balls under the tv unit and around the sofas etc so cleaning could be better given the cost of the stay. Toilet roll holder in the main bathroom missing and no mirror. Really quiet street and very easy access to Morpeth itself.

It was such a lovely place for my friends and I to stay. A nice large social space in the kitchen, heating had been on for us arriving which was lovely. The house was also extremely clean. Only thing to note was they had only left one dishwasher tablet for the entire weekend which wasn’t very practical. Also only two rolls of toilet paper. The lights in the master bedroom also didn’t work properly (would sometimes flicker on and off and not turn back on). Other than this, the house was beautiful and would definitely stay again!
