Love break away Positive: The cabin was lovely with beautiful peaceful surroundings. We visited Pocklington and York during our stay and they were easy to get to. We would definitely recommend staying here!
Came home a day early didnt feel “luxury” at all. Positive: Would of been great if clean Negative: Generally felt dirty and little unloved, staff at park moved us to another lodge but this was similar. For example second lodge when we arrived dishwasher was full of last occupants dirty plates and cutlery.
Very enjoyable, lovely lodge and park. The hottub was great and the staff were polite and accommodating throughout the e Positive: Property was lovely. Clean, modern appliances, everything you’d need. Clear instructions for the hot tub. The lodge itself was very well soundproofed - one of the best we’ve stayed in. We had a problem with one of the showers, staff offered to get it looked at immediately. Communication from the property manager was excellent - quick responses, very informative. Negative: As with all holiday parks, our stay was only marginally let down by one single group of other guests who decided that didn’t respect the quite hours rule. The shower could have been an issue but the other shower in lodge was fine so we just used that one. When we raised the issue the staff offered to deal with it immediately.

R&R Positive: Lovely location. Peaceful, overlooking a lake. Negative: Tea, Coffee & sugar on arrival would have been a nice touch.
