Lovely house very well equipped excellent location beautiful views had a lovely family break would definitely return and recommend the house to friends and family

Great location, just a short walk to the beach and 5mins walk to a small play park, Bamburgh Castle and all pubs and cafes - ideal for our young family. Lots of space in the house with every amenity we needed. Nice, big, fenced in garden which our son and dog loved exploring without danger of them venturing onto the main road. Plenty of room on the drive for two cars. Host was very friendly and courteous, and fast at responding to any query. Would happily stay here again.

An amazing property with a huge kitchen and sitting room, with plenty of space for our group. The house was well equipped. The views to Bamburgh Castle are out of this world. Easy access to the village, the beach and the castle.

A lovely relaxing weekend. Great stay in a beautiful part of the country. Positive: The location was fantastic with fantastic views of the beach and castle. The property was large and beautifully maintained and decorated. 2 minutes walk to beach and 10 minutes to local pubs. Negative: Nothing. It was slightly expensive but totally worth it especially if you’re travelling with a group and can share the cost.

This a lovely place in a perfect location - walkable to the beach, castle, and Bamburgh. Our only concern was lack of napkins, paper towels and extra toilet paper. We made do with the cooking equipment but the pans had no lids so it was difficult to cook for 8 people. We particularly appreciated the ability to park two cars. All in all a great stay and we’d rent again without hesitation!

Wonderful house. Only a few minutes walk to the amazing beach and a few minutes walk to the village and castle. Three of the bedrooms have beach/castle views and the other has a lovely view across the fields. Two shared bathrooms (both with shower) upstairs plus another one (again, with shower) downstairs. The lounge and dining/kitchen were big enough to comfortably suit 8 adults. The kitchen was well equipped, including a dishwasher and washing machine in the utility room. The garden can be secured (gate at the front) for dogs and is much bigger at the back than it looks in the photos. The drive can take 4 cars (if you don’t mind being blocked in - three if you need access for each). Overall it was perfect and we’ll be back again.

A good and comfortable seaside break Positive: Great proximity to the beach for early morning dog walks. Spacious. Good hot shower. Comfy sofas. Negative: Bare minimum of essentials..teabags, only 2 dishwasher tablets, not much washing up liquid..means shopping early and buying stuff that has to be packed and taken back home.

What an amazing place to stay! We stayed here as we were getting married at Bamburgh Castle and it was just perfect for us. Waking up to those incredible views of the castle and the sea was really special, especially on our wedding weekend. The house had everything we needed, we felt completely at home and the location couldn’t have been better. A beautiful house in a stunning setting and somewhere that will always hold lovely memories for us.

We loved the property. Its location to beach and the village of Bamburgh is fantastic. We could walk to everything easily. I plan to return with daily as the property is suitable for people of all ages. My only criticism is we would have liked a few more logs for the fire to have been left as we live in a warm climate and having a fire at night would have been nice and we had to buy logs locally to use the fire everyday. That said it would not deter me from staying again.

Home from home by the beach Positive: Location - fantastic! Excellent view of Bamburgh Castle. Very comfortable house. Close to the beach and also village centre. Host and Stay were easy to contact when we had a query, getting back to us very speedily. Negative: Would have loved the bedroom curtains to be thicker as the rooms were very bright first thing. Otherwise nothing else.

Superb location and a short walk to the beach, which we visited every day.Well equipped kitchen as we cooked most days. A good size home for our party, 6 adults and one child.

Wonderful location and beautifully decorated home. An extra few dishwasher tablets and loo rolls would have been perfect since we were visiting from overseas and didn’t want to purchase a whole box/pack. The views from upstairs are lovely. I wish the master had the double bed and the singles were in the back bedroom. The kids didn’t appreciate the view as much as I would have! Haha! Overall, a great stay in a clean, well appointed home. Would definitely book this property again.

Such a wonderful location for Bamburgh beach and village. Good views and a large secure garden for the dog. Great communication from host making check in and out easy and stress free. Perfect size of house for a family get away. Clean and tidy with all amenities.

Fabulous stay, beautiful property in perfect position for walking to beach, pubs, restaurants and the castle. And what a view of Bamburgh Castle!!

Positive: The location and views from the house were amazing. Very close to the wonderful beach, with the backdrop of Bamburgh castle. A few minutes away from the village centre. Very close to the village green and at night the view of the illuminated castle was stunning. The house had a well equipped kitchen and plenty of seating. We had an 11 month old with us who really enjoyed crawling around the spacious ground floor. Negative: When we arrived unfortunately the previous guests had not put out the rubbish bins for collection by the council. They also hadn't disposed of their glass waste, which we did. We therefore had no where to put our rubbish. We had to contact the company and we found a work around. I would have thought the agency would have thought to check. However, once notified they were in constant contact with us to rectify the situation.

Positive: The views were just incredible and the house was beautiful. Best location ever! Negative: Slight lack of communication about check in but easily resolved

Absolutely stunning place. Lots of space. Extremely clean and comfortable. Our stay was a family get together and everyone said how comfortable their beds were. The views from all bedrooms and the house are excellent - Bamburgh Castle and the ocean. The lounge and dining room have views of the sea and Bamburgh Castle too. It's wonderful! Can't rate this place highly enough. One of the best places I've stayed. We'll definitely be back! Thanks to the cleaners too for the exceptional standard of cleanliness - 10/10!

Super holiday home Positive: Great stay at the Chirnells. Host and Stay provided excellent communication throughout the booking, check-in and check out process. The house was well equipped, clean and comfy. Great location for the beach, town and kids play ground. We will book to stay again.

we loved this house, 7 guests from age 65 to 18, and 3 dogs who loved the garden and the proximity to the beach! We cooked and socialised in the kitchen and loved the window seat and we all slept very well. Well laid out, great having a bathroom downstairs.

Positive: Large house, amazing location with views of the castle. Negative: No locks on bathrooms upstairs. Broken chairs left for someone to sit on unsuspectingly.

Beautiful setting with wonderful views of the nearby sea and Bamburgh castle. Just 5 minute walk to expanse of lovely beach and dunes. Very spacious accommodation on a quiet road just 5 minutes walk from centre if Bamburgh and local cafes and hostelries, the ones of which we visted were great.

Beautiful house in a great location just by the beach.

Lovely house in stunning location, and so so close to the beach. You will need to bring extra toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets as they did not provide enough of these for the duration of the stay. But was spotlessly clean and great spaces to socialise. Garden was lovely and very sheltered and we really enjoyed hanging out there, especially in the evenings. Overall would highly recommend and would definitely come again.

Absolutely stunning house and location. Castle and beach on your doorstep and sheep at the bottom of the garden . What more could you ask for . House was beautiful, had everything you need and was pristine clean top to bottom. Owners have left some books and old board games which I thought was a great touch to the deal home home stay we had . Hopefully will return as we had so much more we wanted to do. So I would very much highly recommend a stay at this beautiful home.
