Lovely, cosy base to explore North Northumberland Positive: Perfect location for exploring Wooler and walking down to Ad Gefrin for a distillery tour and dinner. The local Co-op is really handy too for any bits and bobs you need. The Cottage was warm and cosy during some awful weather outside and has everything you need for a lovely, relaxing weekend stay (except perhaps a TV, but there's good Wi-Fi so take your own device and stream whatever you fancy). Our dogs found it very comfortable too and settled-in very quickly. There is a safe space outside at the back for them to nip out for their ablutions. Negative: The bathroom and/or the bedrooms could have done with a small bin but that is literally the only criticism we had, everything else was absolutely spot on.

we had a lovely stay at the cottage for my birthday with my family & our dogs. ideal location. cottage was well equipped & very clean. will definitely stay again :)

We had a fabulous 3 days, lots of walking, location and plenty to do for everyone. Positive: Beautiful, well presented property in a fantastic location, it was like a home from home. Negative: Nothing

Really can't fault the place. Absolutely spotlessly clean. Charlie who communicated with us was instant to reply, provided fantastic and very clear instructions on how to find it. Along with some local recommendations. Everything in the house was a very high standard and we felt right at home instantly. We would more than happily book again.

Lovely clean and generally well equipped and comfortable house. Good position for getting out and about. Unexpectedly there is no tv in the property despite online guide giving instructions on how to use one. This should be clearly stated on the description so people know what to expect....and ideally rectified.

We had a lovely stay here for a weekend away. The location was great for us and what we wanted to do and it was a cute little village/town location with a convenient little shop for food a quick walk away. The place was spotless and had most things we needed.

Positive: Location and area and car parking Negative: No TV downstairs furniture ripped and looks second hand stained table and kitchen furniture falling apart not allowed pets upstairs not worth the money can get better also keys left out in the open lock box not working

We had a great time in Wooler. Our accommodation was ideal. Well equipped & located for local shops, cafes and restaurants. The garden was a bonus on the sunny evenings. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful place to stay

Wooler is a wonderful place. Lovely cottage as described. Very convenient location, easy parking. Great restaurants and facilities in the village. Great location for exploring the borders

good Positive: Very conveniently situated for exploring the local area - with the coast, Northumberland's castles and the Cheviots. Several restaurants or pubs for eating, and the Coop was only a few steps away. Negative: It was worrying that I had to chase the Host and Stay for the code for the key safe - the idea that people using the property would be happy to not receive the code until 6 hours before arrival is stupid. There could be better instructions on using the room thermostat. On arrival, it showed the name of the WiFi modem. somehow, I got it to display temperatures, and then it was easy to adjust. We couldn't find a remote for the TV, or again instructions on how to use the system. The bathroom was excellently newly refitted, but the basin plug needed an "O ring" to stop the water draing away. The Kitchen was also newly refitted and good - thank you.

We had a lovely stay. The place was immaculate. Everything seemed new and furniture/ accessories were really good quality. There are lots to do from Wooler if you like the countryside.

Lovey cosy house Positive: The house is in a great location and was beautifully decorated throughout. Negative: The property stated there was a tv in the living room, but there is no tv. The property seemed to have everything you needed but no iron.
