The property was homely and clean and we loved the extra touches like the Christmas trees for our trip away in between Christmas and the New Year.\nThe location was spot on for visiting local attractions and places like Sandsend plus Staithes and Runswick bay.\nThe property was spotlessly clean and we appreciated all the extra touches like the excellent kitchen appliances and lovely fluffy towels.\nWe would like to thank the owners for the kind gesture of offering an extra night free due to extreme weather conditions with heavy snow.

We really enjoyed our time here, everything was in order in the house and it is a very family friendly home. The host gave clear instructions of how to find things in the house and also activities in the area. I highly recommend the house and host if you are visiting the area.

This was a lovely home to stay in. It was our first friend’s getaway with her little one and it was perfect. Family friendly and a lovely location - only 10 minute drive from the park and ride into Whitby. The host was really responsive with easy instructions to be able to check in and out. I would recommend to any families wanting a little getaway.

My sister and I had a lovely stay. The house was very comfortable and clean and we especially liked the view from the back garden. The location was very central and we explored the coast. We had a lovely meal at The Windmill Pub.

Very enjoyable stay. Excellent quiet location, comfy beds Positive: Downstairs bedroom & bathroom very convenient . It was great having our guests in upstairs bedroom with their own shower room. Negative: Small things like not enough bin liners. We needed small bins in the bedrooms as well as bathrooms & needed extra cups .

Cherry Willows was exactly as described. Very spacious and homely with all the amenities required . Perfect for us taking our three grandchildren. Great location for exploring Whitby and the surrounding areas. Would recommend to any family looking to holiday in the area.

A fantastic property that was so much more spacious than the pictures online showed. We arrived to the property being spotlessly clean and there was milk in the fridge and two packets of luxury cookies on the table. The property is in a great location in the village of stainsacre just outside Whitby. It's so peaceful and quiet, the views from the back garden are just breathtaking! Whilst the property felt like it was in the middle of nowhere just 5 minutes down the road were 3 large supermarkets and a petrol station which were just so convenient! Also in the same development is Bothams bakers and cafe - well worth a visit, their bakes are excellent quality and value. We twice walked in to Whitby straight from the property and also had wonderful days out in Scarborough and Goathland. There is just so much to do in the surroundings area but we also loved cooking in the well equipped kitchen and enjoying family time relaxing in the property. A fantastic family holiday, we will be back!

Lovely, clean property in an ideal location. Also close to shops. Positive: Beautiful and large property close to both Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay.

We had a great and relaxing time at Cherry Willows. It was exactly as described and a return is very possible in the future!

Really happy with our stay in Stainsacre, everywhere was very clean and tidy, instructions were clear and plenty of information was provided. Maybe some slightly outdated fixtures and fittings (the shower in the shower room for example, some of the decor in the lounge). Other than those minor things the house was perfect for our stay and it suited our needs perfectly situated for 2 day trips to Whitby. On our second day we took a 10-15 minute journey to the Falling Foss tea room which is definitely worth a visit. Thank you!

Lovely house and situation. Well equipped and lots of space, beautiful back garden to sit out and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. 20 minutes walk to bus stop and shops. Bakery with cafe also in similar spot. Next door neighbour was very friendly and gave us some welcome information about the surrounding area and walking routes.

Brilliant stay here!! We wanted to be close to Whitby for the Ultra Challenge 100K walk to Scarborough and it was perfect location to visit both locations. Stunning property, has everything we needed and more for a group of 6 adults, takeaways were great in Whitby. Loved the local pub a 5min walk away - A MUST for their roast dinners!! Visited Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby Marina and beach, Scarborough and all of these were so easy to get to from the property. Peaceful location, great parking for 2-3 cars. Super clean property!!

great stay with the family. Peaceful and out the way from our normal everyday lives. has everything you could possibly need and very efficient by setting a toddler bed that we did not know they had. loved every moment

A great place to stay for anyone visiting Whitby and the surrounding area - close to main roads, train station etc. the house is immaculate and presented to a high standard, comfy beds and two bathrooms with showers and toilets made it perfect for family accommodation. Plenty of TVs, good WiFi and a lovely conservatory and garden. The pub is in walking distance and a taxi to Whitby was £10 well spent. Friendly neighbours too! Highly recommended.

Worth for money for a short or long stay outside Whitby if you travel with a car Positive: The property is lovely, warm, comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Over the fence in back garden, the views are beautiful. It's 3 minutes driving to supermarkets. Negative: None

Fabulous stay, highly recommend Positive: The property was spotlessly clean and had lots of space. All communication prior to arrival was excellent. Highly recommend. Negative: Just be a little careful when using the shower in the wet room - the water encroaches further across the floor than you might expect so put clothes and towels up off the floor.

This place is a gem and the location is great. Just a short drive from Whitby town, Bothams bakery/cafe just down the road and a very peaceful area to stay, with lovely views from f the horses over the back and the neighbours were also lovely. It was spotless everywhere and had all the amenities you need, even a gusto coffee machine. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again.

Positive: The house was very clean and comfortable. Beds were fabulous, showers were great, kitchen was all kitted out. Loved the conservatory and the back garden. The veiw around the house is amazing. The games and the torches were a great touch for the children. On arrival chocolates and biscuits were a really wonderful.
