“Positive: The jacuzzi was a lovely bonus! The chalet was clean and had everything we needed. Negative: I didn't like the fact that it isn't clear about the deposit that must be paid. There's no refund even if everything is left how it was. This is as good as a scam as you pay to stay and then they keep your deposit as an extra payment for nothing. When I asked the staff she was rude and did not care at all.”

“Positive: Myself and 2 friends stayed here to celebrate my friends birthday. We thought the reception staff were pleasant and helpful, the lodge was clean and tidy and had everything we needed (if you plan to cater in the lodge each day, take your own washing up liquid). The on-site restaurant, JJ's serves lovely food and drinks, reasonably priced. We had a meal one of the night, nice atmosphere and staff pleasant and able to cater for wheat free. The park itself was very peaceful, seems like everyone stuck to the rules. The only criticism from us was that there was no path to get to the village and onwards to Pocklington, we did walk to the main path but this meant we had to walk a short way up a busy road through rough grass (no go with young kids and possibly dogs) not ideal but ok if you mind yourself. Coming back we booked a taxi, which cost £15. Don't book uber, used the local guys as they are licensed by the council and they turn up and are pleasant. All in all, we would definitely book again.”
