Practical and convenient Positive: Location, location, location. For us this was all about being close to Durham and Sunderland whilst also being convenient to the A1. This was perfect. The size and layout was also a real positive for us. Two bedrooms, good sized living area meant we weren’t on top of each other the way you can be in hotels. Free parking was a boost too. Negative: You need to appreciate what you get for the price you pay. This isn’t high end but you aren’t paying high end rates. So I need to be fair in my critique. The directions to the property made it a little hard to find. They state it’s above a place named Deli 86. It isn’t. It’s above an Italian restaurant. I suspect they are a little out of date. On that point, it isn’t that obvious that is above a commercial property in the description. The front door needs a fair bit of effort to open, the hinge is obviously on its way out. The furniture is clean and serviceable but very mismatched. This is a theme throughout, but again. You get what you pay for. The is extends to the bathroom where there is a very nice bath with shower head but no shower curtain or suitable means to use the shower head. You are essentially restricted to using the bath.

Very nice apartment, rooms were very nicely presented and clean, check in was easy and smooth with very clear instructions and communication throughout

Avoid this place. It feels like substandard student accommodation. Positive: Nothing Negative: It was filthy on arrival. After a requested reclean it was not much better: Dirty bathroom, grim mystery yuck stuck in plug hole, dirty carpets, stained floor, hairs on the bathroom floor & under loo seat. The front door was hard to open as it was sticking in the bottom right hand corner. It needs proper repair work in many places eg there are holes in plaster work, one of which is covered by a taped-up piece of paper. The photo of the TV is clearly AI altered, as the reality is the aerial is dangling from the wire going into the plug socket. It’s hard to find - the instructions state the flat is above a Deli which no longer exists. It’s actually above an Italian restaurant.

Great place, highly recommended!

Such a comfortable bed, we slept really well. The shower could do with a higher clip and shower curtain, the pressure was great though. The bath could have done with a more thorough clean. Great amenities and we would stay again.
