Positive: Brilliant location and close to everything bed was comfy and shower was brilliant Negative: Difficult place to find at first and not much communication with owner at all also the kitchen step was very dangerous I told them my father hurt himself and if it was wheelchair safe and it was definitely not and I felt my room I sleep in was tiny and the door didn't close properly
Improvements could be made but for the money we paid it was cheap and cheerful. Positive: The location was very good and it was close to the middle and some great little pubs nearby. The beds were very comfortable too. Negative: The lounge area had no windows in and the kitchen window looked onto a brick wall. The picture that was advised wasn’t the accommodation that we got so we were a little disappointed. Plus when we arrived and the booking was made for 4 people we did expect tea and coffee facilities for 4 but they only left 2 coffee, 2 sugar and a couple of milks. That could have been better.
Wonderful property! Ideal area! Positive: Our family stayed in Admirals View & Captains View in Whitby for a weekend. Great amenities inside, everything you could need and beautifully kept furnishings. We really enjoyed our stay here. Great communication from the owners & plenty of places to park nearby. Our party ranged from 18- 85 years of age so brill for everyone. And the views… amazing ☀️
Positive: Location, floor space, comfortable mattress, kitchen facilities ( but not the cleanliness of) Negative: Only appeared to be cleaned to almost bare minimum. Bits on all the carpets, kitchen was not particularly clean, in general sides not clean enough. When we arrived, drinking glasses, mugs, plates and pans from the cupboards had bits of food stuck on them, essentially not checked over prior to a new guest. Drinking glasses were sitting on dusty shelves. Apparent lack of dusting on all hard furniture, lamps etc. Beds and Bathroom were however clean.
Great little place and ideal location with a reasonably priced car park nearby. Right next to several pubs, bars and shops and a couple of minutes to be on the beach front. We didn't need both bedrooms, so chose the largest one, with a partial view of the Abbey ruins as a bonus. The living room was small & cosy and the kitchen included a dishwasher (we did use) and a washing machine (we didn't). The bathroom was superbly clean and the shower was excellent with plenty of room. I'd certainly consider staying here again, next time I'm in Whitby.
Could do better . Shame as of the above issues were rectified it would be good Positive: Central to Whitby and had all amenities you needed. Shower was good. Negative: Mattresses really uncomfortable and of poor quality. Broken blind in main bedroom. Really noisy due to lack of insulation. Could hear snoring in the above apartment !

The place was damp clearly needs roof work ect dealing with at those prices definitely not value for money found far cheaper over the road ! Not 100 pct clean either stained carpets expect better at the very high prices hard to locate knocked on someone's door then set alarm off ! Also having to check out at 10 should be at least 12 definitely not value for money won't be back will be staying over the road next time for sure

Had a great stay - great apartment and fantastic location
Great location and opposite the (small) car park which was great. Close to Flowergate and all the pubs but not great if you have someone who can’t do hills. Luckily my 87 year old mum is fit as a fiddle but even she found the upward climb tough! The apartment is great, the main bedroom is lovely and big but the second bedroom is small but adequate. No natural daylight in the sitting room and kitchen but the bathroom was great. The entrance hall downstairs really lets the first impressions down hugely though as it smells of damp and the carpet is filthy with mud and what I can only imagine is a bit of dog mess. It either needs to be pulled up and laminated or professionally cleaned.
Good location. Communal area grubby so first impression wasn’t great but the flat was nice. The bedrooms are to the front so this is where the limited view is mainly looking onto other holiday lets/flats. Lounge/dining area to the back, no windows/view so rather dark. I missed this point when booking,my fault as there is a floor plan. Bedrooms are bright and fresh with comfortable beds. Could do with something other than blinds as it’s bright from 4:30am! Blinds are past their best and windows dirty. Bathroom was nice with decent shower, hand soap would have been good. Kitchen is off the lounge, there’s a bit of a drop in floor levels. Hosts have put a small step in but I’m not sure that’s sufficient. Kitchen is bright and modern, huge velux window which was filthy and another window that looked onto a brick wall. Host supplied a small amount of tea/coffee/milk sachets. No salt/pepper etc so you need to buy/bring the basics. Noise from flat above is bad we could hear everything.
Positive: Accomadation and space were perfect for what waa required (family of 4 -inc 2 kids) Negative: Was clean with beds, kitchen, bathroom but was quite dusty and bits on floor in other areas - blinds, side tables, under living room furniture for example. Could have done with some soap as only had a small sachet of bodywash/shampoo. Could be more things to clean with in kitchen such as kitchen roll and anti bac wipes.
Positive: The location and the size of the apartment was great, very spacious for 4 adults. The apartment was clean. Negative: Nothing to dislike.
The accommodation for a family was fab. With all mid cons and easy to access to all ammedities. Love it!
Positive: The location was great, it was a lovely modern apartment. Communication was good. Negative: The main hallway to the apartments smelt fusty and the carpet needed a good clean. This did not affect the apartment itself. The second bedroom was very small if travelling in couples, it did not have a mirror in the second bedroom so I had to do hair makeup etc in the hallway so no privacy from the other couple.
Absolutely wonderful stay! Perfect for us wanting a walkable place in the heart of Whitby. Would think of this if we were planning on visiting again!

Expensive for what it is, better value for money in Whitby Positive: Location was good the view of the abbey was amazing Negative: Walls paper thin the apartment above come in around 12pm and was was talking, it felt like we was in the room with them, cleaning fee £60 was extremely expensive, the hallway as you enter the property it’s filthy. We was charged £29 to cover up to £1000 insurance which i believe is a joke both beds were not great quality and the floors needs replacing they are lifting in places and badly fitted in others.
The flat was lovely overall. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Very bright. White blinds are nice but curtains definitely needed. And a fan for the bedrooms in the summer. Great bathroom and everywhere was really clean. The living room and kitchen space were much smaller than expected and a little dark. A coffee maker/cafetière would have been great. A coat stand and hall table in the spacious hallway would be useful. A great spot for a couple of days in beautiful Whitby.
Narrow lanes for your car but there is a car park straight across and a scratchcard waiting inside to put in windscreen to cover the costs. Lovely little place, clean and compact with everything we needed for our short stay. Only thing I can suggest for improvement is possibly fans for the bedrooms as it was extremely hot and we couldn’t keep windows open properly due to noisy seagulls 🤣 but obviously they are not the responsibility of the hosts, can’t expect anything else at the harbour side😊 Great location for the town. Great communication from the hosts and we will defo return 👍 Thank you
Amazing place and location
We took a fan as we was unable to open any windows & it got very hot inside. It was beautiful inside & spotlessly clean, if your not stable walking its high from the sea front some hills 1 which is very steep. There is no garden if you take a dog, but it’s a beautiful apartment there’s a pay parking opposite which cost us £21.60 for a 2 night stay
Absolutely beautiful little place, and perfect location in the centre of Whitby. Lots to do nearby in an easy walking distance. The place is decorated really nicely, and is nice and bright. We would say, we visited on a very hot day and so the flat was super hot inside. It would have been good to have an electric fan, if not air con, as we really struggled with cooling down and sleeping at night due to the heat. Would have also been nice to have some water in the fridge too. Other than that it was a lovely stay. And we loved the guide showing us all the information on the property and also recommendations for local restaurants. Thank you! 🙏🏼
Perfect flat to explore Whitby. Clean, easy to find and parking nearby. Only a few minutes walk from restaurants, coffee shops and the centre of Whitby itself. Thank you for making our short break so comfortable.
Positive: Great location. Modern. Negative: Could have been cleaner. Bedrooms weren’t hoovered properly. Quite dusty.
Great location and amenities were well thought out. Positive: Great location for Whitby, thought it seemed very secure, beds very comfortable Negative: The steps down into the kitchen were a bit of a hazard. One of the steps was very steep, and you had to watch where you were stepping because part of the step had been cut away to make room for the cupboard door to open.
Lovely Apartment and good location. Positive: It’s very comfortable, clean, close to the city, amazing views from the master bedroom. Lovely bathroom and shower. All really good. Negative: If your are a late bird and like to sleep, well there is no blackout on the window and you will get the sunlight straight in your face. Dracula will not be happy !!! We are just fine because we are early birds, so it was ok.
Superb location. Not far from the main strip with arcades and very near playground and beach. Clean property plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children. Lacking basic amenities like kitchen roll and only 1 loo roll given. Also, blinds let in a lot of light. All of us woke at 5am as light streaming through the blinds. However, great communication and clean property with great location.
A cosy stay Positive: Location was great, apartment was very comfortable as were the beds and it was very clean Negative: We did contact the host by message as there were not enough towels but did not receive a reply which was a shame so we had to go out and buy a towel 😢 but contact with the host previous had been excellent so maybe an oversight

Fantastic location. A great base for exploring Whitby. Really lovely accommodation. Clean and very comfortable. Only niggle was that the kitchen utensils and equipment were very sparse a few bigger bowls and some oven gloves would be great . Over all a lovely place to stay would definitely recommend.

Clean and tidy apartment for a couple of days away, great location in the centre of Whitby, easy to locate and access, the car park opposite was not to expensive for 2 days stay , would definitely recommend to any one looking for a stay away .
Property was an excellent location, was clean and beds were comfy. The stairs to the accommodation was no problem but the large step down into the kitchen could pose a problem for some guests. We had a pleasant stay but the noise from other neighbours in the building can be often heard. Our only issue was there was no hand soap at the property which we assumed was just forgotten to be put in when cleaned between guests.

Perfect central location and exactly described and pictured! Great clean apartment for a short stay or weekend. Bedrooms do get bright in the morning and felt the rooms needed curtains as well as blinds but bed were very comfortable! And the road can get a bit noisy at night and in the morning as it’s close to a car park. But couldn’t fault it!
A beautiful clean and modern apartment. The kitchen had plenty crockery and cutlery, dish washer, washing machine etc. Overall a super place to stay and the host was on the ball with communication.
Perfect for a couple of nights Positive: Information provided by the host was clear, concise & accurate; good recommendations of what to do in the local area. Location was fantastic, very central to the main town. I personally liked the decor. Very comfy beds & bedding. Kitchen was of a suitable size & had everything we needed. The shower was powerful. Negative: Sofa was very uncomfortable. Dark black hairs were on the mattress in the smaller of the two rooms. The toilet roll holder & toilet brush were broken. The light on the mirror in the bathroom didn't work. The master bedroom had the space for a dressing table, which would have been nice to sit out. Blackout blinds/curtains would have been a great addition. We had an issue upon arrival with the key safe not opening & getting stuck, & had to call for support. Upon leaving the property we spent ages trying to get the key safe open, but again, we encountered the same problem as we did upon arrival. When we called for support, the memeber of staff asked us to leave the key pushed slightly under the front door as the cleaner didn't have a spare key - I felt very uneasy doing this.
Lovely flat, great decor, private spot, loved the digital door! Very central. Just a small thing for the future more soap and a mini shower gel and shampoo would have been great, but perfect place for a weekend in Whitby.

Location is absolutely perfect for a weekend in Whitby. Really nice apartment, kitchen was well equipped & can tell the building is brand new. Could do with a few little touches like soap in the bathroom & kitchen, some more toilet rolls as we ran out on our last day. It’s beautiful furnished and looks exactly like the pictures !
Pleasant clean and fresh apartment in a good location with coffee bars and pubs very close bye Positive: Nice decor, and enough space. Good shower, bathroom facilities. Kitchen diner area is handy and away from the bedrooms. There are quaint coffee shops and breakfast rooms bars just a few yards away, and we visited Rusty's 2 days running. Negative: The two let downs for me are the noise from the apartment above, you can hear everything, and the parking. That said, it's the same at home, so nothing against the other clients in the block, but if you're unlucky enough to be beneath a loud snorer, you want to hope your're a deep sleeper. Parking over the road is reasonable for overnight, only 70p from 6pm-8am. Although it's tricky getting a spot. There are other car parks nearby, but unsure how much they cost.
We stayed here for 2 nights o over the bank holiday. Can tell the building is brand new. The beds are unbelievable comfortable, location is perfect. Small niggle was we couldn’t find the free parking pass that was mentioned in the instructions but we was happy to park across in a pay and display otherwise you’ll have a good walk to get to your park car with the free passes as they wasn’t many spaces available. Would highly recommend staying here.
