Could not believe the size of the lodge, absolutely massive. Beautiful location. Facilities in the golf and country club were also great with the food in the restaurant being fantastic. The lodge itself was very clean with modern furnishing and bathrooms. Beds were comfortable and exceptionally clean. Sauna was an additional bonus. One thing I would say is remember to bring coffee pods etc as there was only one coffee pod on arrival....and I drink a lot of coffee (this is by no means a criticism, more of a friendly tip). Would definitely recommend this and if I am back in the area will definitely book again.

Lovely break, minor probs. Positive: It was very spacious & well equipped in terms of furniture, utensils etc Negative: Stairs we weren’t expecting any! I have scoliosis & just about managed to go up & down once a day. Used ground floor bathroom during the day. Shower in twin room - couldn’t adjust temp, was too hot. Did follow instructions in welcome book. No toiletries - I was told there would be. Just hand wash in 2 bathrooms

Nie wieder! Positive: Es ist nicht unsere Schuld das wir hier nicht übernachten konnten! Seit Ende Juni warte ich auf mein Geld! Negative: Leider war unsere Unterkunft nicht wie vereinbart um 16:00 Uhr fertig! Da wir viel im Stau standen kamen wir erst um 18:00 Uhr in Grandham am Supermarkt an. Erst dann hat man uns Informiert das unsere Wohnung nicht fertig ist! Wir waren ca. 19:00 Uhr an der Unterkunft und uns wurde mitgeteilt das man noch ca. 1 1/2 Stunden braucht. Die Vormieter hatten den Schlüssel wohl in den Briefkasten geschmissen und Die Dame von der Reinigung hatte keinen Schlüssel. Nach so langer Fahrt wollten wir nicht länger warten, sondern uns einen schönen Abend machen. Ich kann hier vieles nicht verstehen! 1. Warum erfährt der Gast das alles erst 2 Stunden nach der Vereinbarten Zeit? So wären wir nicht einkaufen sondern Essen gegangen. 2. Warum hat das Reinigungspersonal keinen eigenen Schlüssel? 3. Die Unterkunft hat die kostenlose Stornierung akzeptiert, warum bekomme ich immer noch nicht mein Geld zurück? Ich höre seit Wochen, es tut ihnen Leid sie können den Ärger verstehen und es werde geprüft. Die Unterkunft war nicht bezugsbereit! Wir bekamen gegen 21:00 eine Nachricht das man jetzt fertig wäre. Das sind 5 Stunden! Bis 10:00 Uhr soll man die Wohnung verlassen haben, was hat man bis 18:00 Uhr eigentlich gemacht? Man hatte 8 Stunden Zeit ein Problem zu lösen und einen Gast nicht zu verärgern.

Positive: Lots of space. Simple but stylish. The relaxed and quiet surroundings. The area. Negative: Found it a little expensive for the time we were given

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the amenities that were available. The host was very professional and responsive, answering all of my questions in a friendly and informative manner. I absolutely recommend and would stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave! The lodge is beautiful, it is luxurious, from the spacious bathrooms to the lovely furniture and the beautiful views overlooking the woodland and amazing golf course. It was very clean and the beds very comfortable, even the fold away wall bed in the living room. Excellent, peaceful location; I really liked that we could have meals at the hotel if we wanted and use the spa facilities at a cost £15 per day. It was also very convenient for visiting Belton House and the men in our group thoroughly enjoyed playing golf. I highly recommend Beech Lodge and look forward to going again some time. Thank you.

The lodge was great and had lots of space! There is a pull down double bed in the lounge which could have been made clearer but luckily we found it. Both the downstairs bedrooms also have en suites with heated flooring and up to date bathrooms. The beds were comfy but I would say not enough towels were provided. We only had one large towel in each bathroom, a hair sized one and a floor mat. It wasn’t great as there were 5 of us there! The bnb also did not have tea/coffee etc there. It was very clean and in a peaceful area great for walking and spending time with family and friends. Be prepared that it is difficult to get Ubers down to the lodges due to the key code and the fact it is off the map so you need to make a 10 minute walk towards the hotel to get taxis. We overall had a great stay and will likely be back next year!!

Unfortunately the lodge hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived at 4:45pm, but we were able to get hold of the team over the phone and scheduled the cleaner to come the following morning of which they kept me updated on. The lodge is a beautiful location, and could see the places potential just wish there were more in the support manual. The Host & Stay team have been wonderful and really helpful.

Although the house location and facilities are amazing, the service provided was the poorest I have experienced on renting from AirB&B. Although we arrived 30 min after check in time, the house was not refreshed from previous occupants - bins full of rubbish, beds without linen and many calls to renting company, waiting time more than 35 min recorded. We had Zero response from Host &Stay. We started calling them at 4:30PM in the evening to get a cleaner to come in - after 5 hours waiting in the house with a 2 year child sleeping they had the courage to cancel our stay without the courtesy of ringing me. I eventually found line and clean up the house myself. We got later a message from AirB&B for me to find properties to stay in the area - half of them had no availability. I have called Home & Stay explained I decide to stay and they charged me full amount including cleaning - I do recommend you to avoid this company. I will be putting a complaint for reimbursement from AirB&B.

Beautiful clean place, private and quiet but the host was slow in response and some of the amenities were not provided even though communication was made back and forth to rectify the issue in the end we did not get what was promised. But overall the price and the place was clean and we really enjoyed it and would come again despite what had happened everything else was perfect. We came as a family and it was great for the kids and things to see and do in the surrounding area.
