Best place to stay and would definitly return. Positive: Very good location, parking on site and close to all services. Centre of town very close, harbour and restaurants at hand. Great balcony with views of marina and Warkworth Castle. Negative: Absolutely nothing.

Absolutely amazing property! Sited right on the marina, overlooking the boats this is a place to be remembered! From the info & communication from the host to the immaculate style & cleanliness of all rooms I could not fault the stay. It was fantastic

We loved our stay here. From the moment we walked through the door and saw the views we did indeed understand why it's called 'Beclamed'! A beautiful, luxury property with all amenities with the balcony views being the icing on the cake! It is very peaceful; we expected to do a lot of reading but found it impossible as distracted by the views! The host was very attentive and helpful, which is always good. Would we stay again - you bet!

This apartment is genuinely stunning. The view and sunsets from the balcony are spectacular and the apartment itself is really well appointed and luxurious feeling. We will definitely be rebooking!

A fabulous apartment overlooking the marina. The photo didn't do it justice. A wonderful place to watch the comings and goings of the fishing boats. The apartment was spotlessly clean with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We could walk to the harbour in seconds and there was a coffee shop at the entrance to the carpark. We used Amble as a base to visit Alnwick, Lindisfarne and Banburgh .All were easily accessed from the coast road at the top of the high street. We would highly recommend The Fish Shack and The Boat House if you like fresh fish. Also Osteria in the High Street. We'd definitely stay in the apartment again and would recommend to friends.

Second time staying in Becalmed and we will definitely be back. We stay here because the views are stunning and the apartment is well equipped and furnished. It's lovely and peaceful and has great restaurants within short walk. Plenty to do in wider area.

We had an amazing first stay in Becalmed. We will definitely return as it is one of the best places we have ever stayed in. The view is really special with incredible sunsets looking over towards Warkworth castle. The apartment has a very high end finish and really feels like a treat getting to stay there. There is a dedicated parking space, incredibly comfy beds and great wifi. Host and Stay were great to deal with, checked in with us during our stay and we were made to feel that we could contact them at any point if needed. The head housekeeper also checked on us to ask if we had everything we needed. We already can't wait to return.

A fantastic view over the marina from the panoramic windows, and, in good weather, the balcony was a great spot to sit and watch the comings and goings of the boats. The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable. It was only a short walk to the end of the quay for some great views out over the North Sea. The local trip round Coquet Island was really good. We thought we might see one or two puffins and a couple of seals, but the numbers were staggering: thousands (literally!) of puffins, gulls and terns and numerous inquisitive seals. Only a short drive to some wonderful beaches (Alnmouth was particularly good) and interesting houses/gardens (Cragside, Alnwick Castle, Howick Hall etc..). All in all an excellent break and worth a revisit.

Location was great. The host was very responsive but not as helpful as I had wanted. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen were great.

All great. Only issue was that the listing showed two dedicated parking spaces when there is only one (it actually referred to two spaces in one part and one space in another,”), which mattered to us as we had a motorcycle on a trailer as well as the car. Response to this prior to our stay was not great but to be fair, responses and information was otherwise top notch. Turned out not to be a problem as we got parked so overall a great place to stay and we would stay again. Be aware that the bedrooms only have Venetian blinds so the main bedroom was very light very early in the morning!

Outstanding. Brilliant Negative: Nothing

This must be one of the most well appointed apartments in Amble! The panoramic view of the Marina and estuary is unrivaled. You also see Warkworth castle in the distance. Its location is great with everything in Amble within walking distance. It is also well served with public transport if you want it. When coming back to Amble we will certainly be staying here again. What else is there to say except we had a great stay!!

Fabulous property in a perfect location Positive: The property was very clean and the view is exceptional. Great location Negative: A bit picky but no mirror in second bedroom so difficult for ladies to do makeup and/or hair. Towel hooks would have been great too

Perfect place with a lovely view, light and airy. Clean and tidy. Had everything we needed. Close to shops, pubs, restaurants. Struggled to find bin store as it's not labelled but a resident/guest directed us to it. Would definitely come again.

The view was beautiful and was the highlight of our stay. The apartment was warm and well equipped. It would have been better if there had been curtains rather than blinds. All the local facilities were in walking distance. The key safe was in dark shadows and difficult to see the numbers

Just returned from an amazing weekend at Becalmed, Amble. This was our first stay in Northumberland and we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect base. The property is outstanding, spacious, spotlessly clean with modern appliances. The huge picture window/balcony is a standout feature overlooking the marina, the dunes, the river Coquet and even Warkworth Castle in the distance; we could never tire of this relaxing view. The property is ideally placed in Amble and benefits from its own undercover parking. We used it as a base to explore Warkworth, Alnmouth, Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh, Craster and Alnwick. A really enjoyable stay, we will definitely return.

Be Calm is the most beautiful apartment and such a peaceful place to stay. It suited our needs perfectly and the location is second to none. We felt at home immediately. Just perfect.

Fantastic location over looking the marina and river croquet with views that will amaze you, Lovely and quiet but very handy and within walking distance for the harbour area and town centre
