Host & Stay | Barakah Lodge — Guest Reviews

Positive: The beds were so comfortable that I'm ordering a memory foam topper for my own bed at home! Negative: The hot tub kept emptying however the staff came twice to refill it.

Such a lovely place to stop, bar and resteraunt on sight and so peaceful and lovely.

We had a fantastic stay in York the lodge was lovely clean comfortable had everythink we needed , would defently recommend and will defently be returning to York and stay again .

We had a lovely stay, the surroundings were very well kept, it was quiet and relaxing Positive: It was spacious, lovely furnishings felt like a home from home Negative: There were lots of cobwebs outside and around the entrance door there were also bird droppings on the decked area, the patio door track was dirty and the WiFi kept dropping off

We enjoyed the time away, location is quiet to a degree and the chalet decorated nicely. However, when we arrived in summer the chalet was boiling hot with the radiators on, cobwebs on the curtains and not much open for facilities. Personally dont feel it was worth the money, however the time away was needed so pleasant all the same

all round lovely stay, was a very early check in seen as the check ins not till 4, the lodge was lovely and cosy and great for a weekend away and lovely terrace with jacuzzi nice to sit in the sun, could go better on the cleaning as dusty and cob webs and bedding was falling off but they only small details that could be improved.

Beautiful stay

Not very good. Positive: Property was alright and location is good. Negative: The beds were not made, Found bedsheets were not changed and found hairs all over the duvet and bathroom floors. One sofa and chair was stained and not cleaned. It seems like deep clean was not done after last stay. Same reported to the concerned person. Even hot tub was not cleaned. Good holiday was ruined.
