“Had a very nice stay for a few days for work. Lots of places to walk to eat in the town, and nice walks around the castle just a couple of minutes from the door. Comfortable - particularly the sofa - and a nice little yard which gets a bit of sun in the evenings. My room had an en-suite, but if you were two couples staying here then worth bearing in mind the second bedroom would only have the particularly small bathroom off the kitchen.”

“What a fabulous cottage - so well located, quiet and has everything you need. Lots to do in the area and lots of lovely pubs/restaurants within 5 mins walk - really was perfect! Road is a little narrow for parking big cars - it really wasn’t an issue at all as lots of free parking nearby! The property is well looked after with a pretty yard and super clean - thank you! The independent food shops in Barnard Castle are worth the visit themselves - plus Farmers market on Saturdays! Really was such a great mini break!”
