My husband and I wanted a peaceful weekend in a beautiful place and we got exactly that! The areas of Kirk and Town Yetholm are stunning, with lots of walks locally to take our dog. \nAudrey's place was beautiful too. The house was warm, comfortable, considerately equipped. The garden was HUGE (dog loved it!) with stunning views beyond. \nLocally we ate in both the Border Hotel and Plough Hotel, both were cosy and friendly.\n\nBoth of us and our dog would love to go back again.\nWe really enjoyed our break and hope to go back!

Absolutely beautiful area, there is a pub in walking distance, and a shop and pub in the next village, driving would be needed for more amenities, but there is room to park and the next town isn’t far. For lovely walks and dogs this air BnB is ideal. We also had our little baby with us, and the place was kitted out so well for him, which would save in all of the things you need to bring. We loved our stay, we got to Edinburgh in 1.5 hour and loads of lovely costal towns in 30/40 mins. We would consider staying again if we looked to go to this part of the country, the views from the garden made the place even more special!!

We had the most wonderful stay at Audrey’s Cottage over Christmas. From the moment we arrived, the place felt incredibly welcoming — cosy, homely, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, with every utensil, pot, and pan you could possibly need, making it a pleasure to cook and spend time together.\nThe views are absolutely phenomenal and were a real highlight of our stay. The garden is a fantastic size and felt very safe and secure, perfect for both dogs and children to enjoy freely.\nWe were greeted with such thoughtful touches on arrival, including delicious cocktails, beautiful cupcakes, cookies, and more, which really made us feel special and set the tone for the stay. The beds were extremely comfortable and spacious, ensuring we all slept wonderfully.\nOverall, Audrey’s Cottage exceeded our expectations in every way. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough and would absolutely love to stay here again.

we had a wonderful weekend in Kirk yetholm. it was very relaxing. just what we needed in these winter months. the property was ideal for four adults. plenty of space and had everything we needed. we enjoyed a day in kelso as it rained heavily, then when the weather got better we went to walk in the Cheviots. highly recommend the border hotel for food and also enjoyed drinks at The Plough hotel.

Great cottage with a wonderful view - very handy for Pennine Way and Cuthbert Way and only 3 mins walk from the Border Hotel. The rooms were warm and comfortably fitted out and the place had full amenities including washer and drier - great for walkers! Good big kitchen and living room meant plenty of room for a family. A cake and small container of milk when we arrived was also very welcome and a kind gesture.

Just a perfect stay!! Comfy and cosy cottage with incredible views. Superb communication throughout, smooth check in, and plenty of space to relax. We stayed to compete in the Spine race and everything was so convenient. I'd bring my family back here for sure. Would highly recommend!

We had an amazing time in this beautiful cottage. The place was immaculate when we walked in, and the host was so proactive when helping with checking in and even had a digital guide which helped with all burning questions. Great stay, very peaceful.

Fantastic bungalow in a fantastic location. Positive: Large garden and magnificent views. The bungalow is in excellent condition, spacious and well equipped. It is in a lovely quiet location but with basic amenities close by. Negative: There was nothing to dislike

A great location for a peaceful break but also easy to get around to local towns or further away for days out. Very well maintained property and the ‘welcome’ supplies of milk, tea, coffee, etc. was a nice gesture.

This place was everything and more. Squeaky clean and amazing views with everything you could need. The only issue was receiving the key code. We didn't receive it when expected and had to stop while travelling to chase this with Host and Stay as they weren't responding by airbnb message. This was a little stressful. However the actual owners once there, were great and visited to check we were okay or if we had any questions. Would stay again. Thankyou
