Staying at this airbnb was great, it was amazingly clean and fresh, the location was amazing and easy to find, the team was very responsive and gave me a handbook with everything i needed in it. i highly recommend staying here it was great value!!!

Always very responsive when messaging. The Early check in was a bonus aswell. Very nice, clean and spacious house. Perfect for the 6 of us. Absolute bargain for the price on a saturday night in newcastle.

We had a lovely day at Birch Road. The house was immaculate and the showers are amazing. The beds were super comfy and housed my husband and I and our three boys perfectly. The washing machine is super fast and the Astroturf garden was a massive bonus.!

Just had a 4 night stay at this spotlessly clean house while working in the area perfect for us as within walking distance of the shops we would definitely recommend this place and the host and will be coming back soon when back in the area as we couldn’t fault anything

Our stay at your property was very enjoyable. The location was very convenient and we found the facilities of a good standard. Just be aware that the house is located on a hill so may not suit someone less mobile.

A great house to stay in, lots of space good facilities and a good garden for kids to play in! Attention to detail with cleaning could have been better but would stay again!

The house is in a good location in Blaydon, ~5-minute walk to the shops, but that's where the positives end. We chose Airbnb expecting a welcoming, home-like experience, but every reasonable request was met with a blunt "no". I asked for fans during the hot weather (no air conditioning) and a high chair/travel cot for our toddler—no effort to help or offer alternatives. After a 2-week stay, I asked for 30 extra minutes because our driver was delayed. Instead, the cleaners arrived at 9:45am, making us feel pushed out. In the rush, a passport was left behind. Charlie said he couldn't check until later, so I had to return myself, get the access code from someone else, & retrieve it. He never followed up. The cloth airer was very flimsy, it collapsed on first use (due to mild wind) and I bought a replacement, not even a thank you. I've stayed in many Airbnbs, I've never met such an inflexible, unhelpful & indifferent host. If you value responsive, considerate hosting, look elsewhere.

Overall good experience. Positive: New house. Very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Nicely decorated and furnished. Off road parking and smart TV. Great location for touring the Newcastle area and westwards along Hadrian's Wall. Negative: Basic manuals are needed for the appliances. We could not get the electric hob to work properly. Not sure whether it was broken or we simply could not work out how to use it. ( in fairness we did not contact Host & Stay about this, but decided to eat out instead). Egg cups needed. Also, as older people, we would have benefitted from a non-slip mat to go in the shower base.

Although our stay at Aronora was comfortable, we felt let down by the lack of care and attention shown to the property. Considering the glowing reviews, we were surprised and disappointed at the condition we found it in. Cleanliness was a major issue during our stay - we spend about an hour in the kitchen wiping down surfaces, cleaning and hoovering food off the floor, washing cutlery and crockery before we felt it was usable. Skirting boards and lamps were covered in dust. When we tried to take a glass out of a kitchen cupboard it was stuck to the shelf with sticky grime. Other issues encountered included unusable, broken chests of drawers in the bedrooms, holes in the duvet cover in the main bedroom, banister coming away from the wall, kitchen cupboards full of completely mismatched crockery, a microwave smelling very strongly of reheated food, and a broken holder for the shower hose in the en-suite bathroom. Lovely house but needs some repair, love and attention.

Really enjoyed my stay, the place was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed. The atmosphere was relaxing and everything was well looked after. Overall, a very nice experience and I would happily stay again.
