We had a lovely 2 night winter break as a family of 4. The flat is lovely, cosy and warm - which was nice to come back to after snowy beach walks. Really glad they provided little extras such as tea/coffee/milk as I was fretting on the way that I’d forgotten to pack some. The location is great - close walk to the beach, which is what we wanted. Saltburn is a great seaside town with lots to do. There was some music playing in the pub next door but it was a Saturday night and it was all done before 11pm so no grumbles. Would highly recommend and visit again. I feel so relaxed before we go back to the school run and work this week, which is exactly what we needed. Thank you Host & Stay!

Great basics but could be Wow with a couple more small details. Positive: Location and price great. Stylish and modern interior. Comfy beds. Negative: Only one loo roll and no coffee pods/washing machine pods to make use of the facilities. Would be nice to include a few old board games in living room for kids.

I was a bit concerned when we arrived (with a child) to find the apartment was above a pub, but fortunately as we were in the top floor and staying mid week there wasn’t any noise. The apartment was clean but there were stains on the carpet and a lot of wear & tear on the kitchen table & chairs which let it down. The WiFi was non existent! Which was a huge problem as we couldn’t get a signal to watch TV most of the time we stayed, so streaming films or TV was virtually impossible, even hotspotting to our phones was stop/start. I understand you can’t impact the mobile signal but the WiFi definitely needs improvement. If I’d been staying there with the intention of working I’d have been livid! We reported an issue with one of the single beds collapsing when my 4yo son sat on it & didn’t get a response until a day after getting home! So the host company need to work on their response times. Location was very close to beach & we had a fabulous meal in the Seaview restaurant.

The place is close to everything in the town And it is a really good place to stay and spend time with your family and friends

We had a lovely trip on a north east tour and having been to Filey for a few days this was the next stop for 2 nights with a trip to Flamingo land for the kids on one day. The views are stunning but the apartment was lovely, very clean and had everything we could have needed, might have been pure luck but parking was really easy too (despite bringing my pickup truck which is really long)! Highly recommended if you've got stuff nearby you want to do, it's perfect.

A beautiful apartment, comfortable, clean and quiet. It would be useful it had some coasters for putting cups and glasses on as we didn't like putting them on the nice furniture so just used magazines and leaflets instead. I have been visiting Saltburn for years but this was the first time that we have actually booked somewhere to stay and my daughter and myself were extremely happy with this apartment.

We enjoyed our stay at Cleveland Street in Saltburn by the Sea - the flat is on the top floor so only good for people who can climb three flights of stairs... There are a few things that would help for other visitors going forward... 1. The shower wasn't very clean ... it would also benefit from having somewhere to put the soap & 'squeegee blade' for after showers to help stop the mildew forming. 2. No cleaning products or toilet cleaner in the bathroom were provided 3. In the kitchen, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and one tea-towel provided -no dish clothes, dish washing brush or other cleaning products were provided 4. No table mats provided. 5. The entrance hall has a lovely carpet but we noticed it was a bit stained on our arrival because there isn't a mat to wipe feet or anywhere to put dirty shoes/boots etc or to hang up wet coats. I hope this feedback will be helpful. This is a great location and we enjoyed visiting our son and granddaughter

the big bed is beyond comfortable, same with the couch. annoyingly so because I kept falling asleep when I had things to do 😂, tv is huge, sound is lovely same with the details, plenty of space all together. kitchen is spacious and the hobs are neat, same with the extractor fan. the only negative things I found was that no matter what I used the wifi wouldn't show up, not that I couldnt connect but that it wouldn't show up in the wifi section, and if the owners of Appartment C can see this PLEASE GET A NEW KEYSAFE. its a good little box and works EVENTUALLY but me and my partner spent 45 minutes in the snow pressing the "CLEAR" spring for it to refuse to work, the keys refuse to press and sometimes get stuck sticking out and sticking in, the communication was amazing and I understand its not the providers fault, but please for the love of God get a new keysafe, pressing rock solid keys in -1°c temp is beyond awful, i would love to come back some day but hopefully that's fixed.

Overall good value for the money and location was great. Positive: Location Property was perfect for us as two couples. Very comfortable Negative: A few stained sheets. Broken lock in bathroom door. A few places it wasn’t as clean as it could be.

this was my first time booking though Air B&B and this place and host made it a perfect one. the flat was beautiful decorated, spotless and provides everything you need for your stay. literally 1 minute walk to the perfectly idilic seafront, restaurants and bars. we tried the tomahawkstaeakhpuse which was also fab. I would definitely stay here again no question about it. thank you 😊

Great location, very central but was on a quiet side road. Lots of lovely cafe bars/restaurants to choose from. Had a great stay.

We stayed here for accommodation for a wedding we attended nearby. It’s a walk from the centre with plenty of shops and cafes nearby with the seafront a stones throw away. The apartment its self is lovely, very clean and very well presented. It’s very cosy and spacious. It’s also very competitively priced with hotel rooms for only a few quid cheaper. If your looking for a suitable place to stay, especially if there’s a couple and 2 singles, this is ideal. The instructions were very clear to follow from weeks before our booking right up until check out.

A good location ideal for exploring Saltburn and surrounding coastal walks. Ideal for what we needed. A nicely decorated apartment with everything you need. However if you are in need of internet or would like to watch something on the TV/ laptop it's pretty much impossible, the wifi was very poor quality. Overall a good stay.

A pleasant three night break with my friend. Positive: Lovely furnishings in the apartment. Comfortable beds. Apartment in a great location. Extremely quiet- over a pub so I was expecting some noise, but absolute silence at night. Saltburn was so quiet! Negative: The flights of stairs to the loft apartment could provide a challenge to less fit people. I don’t think that this apartment would suit a family with young children. Key safe box was a bit tricky to use.

It was fine, we enjoyed being close to the beach but wouldn't stay there again. Positive: Location was great Negative: The internet didn't work at all. The property is tired. Lots of stains on the carpets, the entrance hall is all exposed electrical boxes. The shower seal is gross. There were no coffee pods provided at all for the coffee maker.

Great location in Saltburn - really central and close to great bars, cafes and places to eat. Parking on the street outside the apartment was absolutely fine. I've stayed at this apartment a few months ago and was disappointed this time with the cleanliness of the apartment in comparison to last time. Stains on the carpets, marks on the kitchen table and kitchen could do with a good clean. Also coffee pods were left last time however none this time. Bedrooms are a good size and apartment was quiet.

Lovely apartment but ? Positive: The apartment was very nice and nicely decorated Negative: The stairs there were a lot up to the apartment! No welcome /instruction book For appliances/ WiFi they had changed supplier and not updated the details! / fire escape instructions in the flat ? They were down stairs by the electricity box !

First of all, Saltburn-by-the-sea is a great place for a holiday and the flat is ideally situated. Street is quiet but very close to large supermarket and several cafes and takeaways. Could park close to the flat apart from Saturday morning when I had to park a few streets away. The flat is up two flights of stairs with another flight inside the flat - fine for us but might not be for others. Flat is decorated to a high standard but kitchen equipment is a bit grudging - no can opener, for example. I raised that when I checked out but was told they don’t provide one. There were only two bin bags, which was just about fine, and four tea bags provided for a week so remember to bring your own, same with kitchen roll (none) and toilet paper (1.5 rolls provided). There was no pot large enough to boil pasta for four, so we had to use two pans instead. Good area, quiet street and great town. A few extra small things would have made this perfect.

Wouldn't stay here again because of the insurance and all bombardment of emails . Negative: After booking the apartment to find out you have to pay a insurance none refundable of £29 .There was no mention when booking ?? Also the amount of emails received saying what you can't do and the rules of your stay ( must of had 8 or 9)

We enjoyed our stay in Saltburn on Sea. Great local amenities. A few minutes walk to the beach and local country park. Well positioned. Had a nice little family get away. Pleasant experience.

This company is simply not interested in the service they provide. They thought it perfectly acceptable to leave us for the whole 3 night stay with a blocked wash basin in the bathroom. This meant going up a flight of stairs to wash our hands in the kitchen after using the toilet. A plumber was promised but didn’t show. The useless wi-fi has been mentioned for years yet they still advertise it as being available. The entrance carpet needs a thorough clean, again mentioned previously. A request for a partial refund was declined. We will never use this company again.

Very pleased with space, cleanliness - however the trays in the over could have been cleaner

Positive: Smart but not suitable for children really especially my autistic son with the wooden/glass staircase feature! I messaged about this after booking and was told the other flats were not available and not even a stairgate would be provided so I genuinely couldn’t relax the whole break! turns out next door was available the whole stay as was given the keys to get in there for the WiFi that didn’t work either. This was a much better lay out but had 2 double beds not bunk beds like ours so they obviously just didn’t wana give it up!

Positive: Location was fantastic - close to all amenities and the beach and promenade was a very short walk. Negative: The stairs were a very slippy. One of our group slid down them all and ended with some rather large bruises on the bottom of her back and elbow. Also, there was nothing to grab on to as she slid down.

Positive: Really lovely apartment. Central location and lots of on street parking. Apartment was bigger than expected and really comfortable. Decent sized beds and lovely space to relax. All the home comforts too - coffee machine and pods was a lovely surprise. Would definitely stay again. Negative: Some confusion over the cost of the accident cover - initial email said £25 and then when I contacted Home and Stay to check in it was £29.

Overall the apartment is nice and in a good location. On arrival my family and I found that the apartment hadn’t been cleaned. Beds were unmade and dirty towels left. The bins were full including a used condom. This was totally unacceptable for myself and young kids. Quick response with host and stay over the phone who proposed to send cleaner next day (we had no clean sheets so this wasn’t enough), then to relocate us (not possible given my young kids who needed to go to bed). After several calls, they sent a cleaner out that evening which was unnecessary disruption. Having complained over email I have now had a response but it feels like a very poor start to our family break.

Such a great little find

Excellent apartment in a peaceful area. Despite being a few floors above a pub, could hear no noise at all. Clean, easy to find and has all the equipment you need. Parking was a big issue as it is a public street and always packed with cars and even nearby streets. Note that this is two sets of stairs high, so travel light or prepare for multiple trips up and down the stairs. Wi-Fi was reliable. Couch and bed were comfy. Kitchen facilities basic but servicable.

Loved the accommodation, smooth and simple experience all round and would highly recommend to anyone going to saltburn by the sea!

The appartment was very nice and comfortable, just like the photos, it was also lovely and warm really nice to come back to after a walk by the sea. Charlie was very responsive, replying very promptly to questions. We had an issue with the WiFi, Charlie wasn't able to solve it but 10 out of 10 for effort and it didn't adversely impact on our stay.

We loved our stay here! Just like the photos - with the added bonus of incredible views as soon as you step out on the street, close to lovely shops and the beach etc. We love Saltburn!

Lovely location with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes near by. Could have been cleaner than it was. Positive: Very spacious and in a perfect walkable location with lots of cafes and restaurant and shops around Negative: Could have been alot clearer then it was. Tea towel was very stained more like cleaning cloth, dust in areas which were reachable, carpet didn’t seem to have been hoovered and lots of marks on it right when you walk in which isn’t the best thing to see first. The shower also needed a good scrub, lots of mould both black and orange.

All the basics included. This property is managed by a business - they were slow and unresponsive when the shower broke, and I had to repeatedly chase them in order for them to fix it, which was a shame and not ideal on holiday. Good location, all the basics included, a fine base if you’re going to be out most of the day. Good kitchen facilities. Could have been cleaner when I arrived! Dirty entrance way, toilet not quite clean enough, stain on a bedsheet (but not a bed we needed to use fortunately). Overall fine, wouldn’t stay again. Although saltburn is delightful!

Lovely split level flat in an amazing location - five mins walk down the hill and you're on the beach. Also very handy for the train station, and all the local shops, cafes and restaurants. Very slight downside was the wi-fi being very poor, but not a big problem when you're on holiday. The cleaning fee felt steep considering the reasonable nightly price. We're looking forward to staying here again.

Lovely apartment in heart of saltburn Positive: Really modern and clean . Right in the centre of Saltburn. Tastefully decorated. Easy check in. Negative: A lot of messages sent by host on different formats made it feel very corporate eg offering early check in for extra fee or private chef. Only one coffee pod for machine!

Only real grumble is that the cooker door hinge was broken, but we prompt it with a chair to close the gap

Lovely clean and modern apartment. Positive: Great apartment and base to explore Saltburn-by-the-sea. Lovely and clean, beds are comfortable and it had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Excellent communication with the hosts too. Thank you for a lovely week. Negative: Not great if you don’t like stairs as there are 3 flights to climb. Not a problem for us though.

Positive: Location and decor Negative: Single beds are really creaky and mattress very soft. We got locked in apartment block due to faulty entrance door, this was resolved next day on our insistence. Had no hot water or heating after 1st night. We contacted host and stay to resolve this but were told owner didn't reply to their messages, so problem not addressed. Spoiled our time when in apartment. Very poor communication throughout our trip.

Good location, good communication and helpful replies. WiFi was very very poor. No flexibility around a slightly later checkout, but ok, was a long shot 😊 Generally clean and parking on the street was fine too.

excellent apartment; light, clean, really nicely furnished. Definitely stay again! Positive: lovely spacious living area/kitchen, clean, light, modern, quiet. Large comfortable bed too. It's above a pub, but don't be put off - it's a quiet pub and the apartment is 2 floors above, so very quiet. Negative: too much (auto generated?) communication prior to our stay, which has the effect of creating anxiety...(new message from etc.) Keep it simple and please dont communicate on different platforms. I didn't realise the keycode was in a text message. Though fine for us, a family would find the amount of cutlery rather small.

We enjoyed a lovely break in Saltburn-on-the-sea. The apartment had everything we needed, was lovely and peaceful and felt like a home from home and was a great base to explore the amazing Yorkshire coastline. Parking wasn’t a problem and we managed to park on their road each day. Saltburn has some lovely little shops and restaurants in walking distance as well as the sea front. A couple of additions in the kitchen and improvements to the WIFI would make this place perfect. We would happily stay here again (especially in the summer)!

Place was as described with good facilities. Location is excellent - lots of great restaurants and bars within walking distance . The only disappointment was that the WiFi was poor and unreliable .

Positive: Location. Ample free parking. Close to the shops and beach. Negative: Host & Stay offered an extra night at a discount before I had even booked in. Yet 3 days later still unable to get a confirmation of the extension or pay! Went elsewhere for 2 nights. Very poor service.

All good. Parking can be a little bit difficult to find a spot as it's street parking close to the town centre.

Apartment is in the centre of everything and is beautifully decorated. Comfortable and well equipped. We would stay there again . We struggled with the key safe outside the building- so we struggled to get in and were unable to leave keys back in it as instructed - but Host and Stay were at the end of the phone to help. Otherwise excellent.

Really lovely apartment in an excellent location. We had such a lovely weekend in Saltburn, and the apartment was a great base. I’d read plenty of reviews that fore-warned us about the number of stairs, so we were prepared. The benefits of being up high were the place was quiet and untouched by any potential noise from the street below. We were steps from the town centre and the beach and really enjoyed exploring both. Beds were comfy, we managed to cook a nice meal- although could’ve benefitted from a few extra kitchen bits- and the living area was great to relax in. Would definitely stay again.

Would certainly use this accommodation again!! Positive: Modern, fully equipped and comfortable. Last minute booking and so please with the location and how peaceful it was. Negative: Wifi was a bit temperamental but any issues raised were responded to immediately.

The property was a short distance from Saltburn and close to shops, Sainsbury's and restaurants.... a really good cafe near the train station. The beds were comfy and the shower was good. No restrictions on parking outside the property

Well equipped apartment with lovely finishing touches Positive: Fabulous apartment with everything provided, great space to create home from home Negative: Beds were too soft and pillows not comfortable, stairs up to apartment were a struggle for my OAP mother-in-law, some washing powder would have been good but these are minor things that certainly didn't ruin the stay.
